Gabriel stood there waiting for the person in front of him to get a move on. This person happened to be the same girl wearing earmuffs that he had seen earlier while sitting at the bleachers, and after falling from the bars, she just sat there like a confused and scared child. He was beginning to grow impatient."Get up already! Would you really have this expression if you had no one around to watch or help you?!"

Sue

In the most normal of circumstances, she would have just ran away, away from the embarrassment and bullies that messed with her, away from the thoughts of those as far back as her childhood, outside her specialized school.

But not today, not in front of everyone. She had fought long and hard to do and be where she was, though this was a statement that needed reviewing surely given the current circumstances.

Not today.

Not to this dick.

Sue got up, knees bent, hell bent on getting to the first bar again. She jumped forward, and missed it entirely. She felt straight to the ground. She turned around, and saw the boy behind her looking down, and moved on to complete the course himself. Sue got up and went to the starting platform again. Unsure of herself, she just stood there.

He nodded to Ben. As usual he had the plan but watching Sue he knew he had to do something.jack watched Sue having trouble. Well he had to help her. He ran up to the course. he figured she needed help. What else was he suppose to do. He could not well he had to. If he had to do the course again he would. He had to help Sue. There was his inner hero being an idiot again."Just do what I do. Ask if you need help." He signed to her. He walked up and grabbed Sue. He managed to hoist her up to the first rung. After that he used his web-slingers to try and keep up with her f she needed help. At each step he made sure to try and help. "Hey! Shut up! She needs help." He yelled at the guy. He hated people who were like that. But that was messed up. Ben had fallen. So many problems so little time. "Ben!" he yelled looking at him worried as all hell.

Then Jack came. He signed to her “Just do what I do. Ask if you need help,” and before she could reply she was hoisted up and was stuck on with this weird web string. Spidey boy , Sue thought, as she looked down and noticed just how high she really was. It was all so… romantic, the boy helping her out, but she wasn't smiling. She was straining herself trying to hold on. She reached forward for the next rung, her short arms almost failing her but she did catch on.

The only problem was the web was holding her back. She turned around, and with her eyes gesturing upwards to the web point, hoping that he’d seen her, since she’d heard him call out to a Ben figure. Sue was really starting to feel the burn.
AVEN, I HOPE YOU FEEL TERRIBLE FOR LEAVING SUE

Jack sat next to her. It felt nice, but it was something that she wished wouldn’t last, for his sake and hers. Thankfully, he spoke no more. He only really sat down next to her for company, which she wanted. Which she needed, suddenly remembering that box of a room she has to stay in for semesters to come.

It became worse for her. There was an altercation with Jack and another boy at the bottom rows, bringing in another boy intervening and attempted to reconcile the ruckus. The two argued, and Sue pressed on her earmuffs more. It was getting louder now that more and more of the students were gathering in. Furthermore, she could not get rid of that sizzling acid smell. It was atrocious.

...clears his throat and responds to Ben with a mumble, "Oh, um, I think our new secretary, Melissa, lost the 37 letters and 20 collages. Excuse me." He steps past Ben and says, "Attention everyone. Today is mainly going to be exercises designed to show me just how out of shape you are." He chuckles quietly, obviously joking, and continues, "First, we're going to do an obstacle course. You may go in any order you wish. Follow me." He leads the students to an outdoor obstacle course and says, "Let's get started."

Sue hoped that he knew her situation, and had prepared appropriately for her to go last. But just to be sure, Sue silently walked away from Jack and while the others started exiting the gym, she walked towards the blue man hoping for clarification. But nervousness got the best of her, and she stood there, as the others passed. The taller people mostly paid no mind to her, the neck pain she must have caused from her small figure.

Jack decided to wait this one out for a bit. He decided to watch the rest do this first.

Sue saw Jack again. The one person she was comfortable with for the time-being. For the sake of curbing the loneliness and panic from anomie, wherever she learnt that sociological term from she forgot, and silently walked towards and stood beside him. She was not exactly the quietest person to be with since you would notice noise levels rising drastically. The earmuffs were helping though, everyone was still able to not notice – hell, and they were still able to be in the same place with her.

She looked tiny compared to everyone. She wasn’t exactly unattractive to the eye; she still had a nice hourglass figure that worked its magic, her bosom worked fine, her natural hair caught the eye of anyone, but really everyone looked past above her. So standing next to Jack, Sue watching Jack watch the rest go first, she elbowed him at hip-level, and looked outwards with a sly grin. She did have this personality before being deported to the Academy, and she was willing to expend herself outwards to this guy furthermore.

But apparently, that wasn’t obvious, and Jack went off without her. And now, at this rate, people were finishing the course ahead of her and she was doomed for last. Which was fine, but she didn’t like the thought of not having the support of anyone, or in this case, she hoped she had Jack’s support.

She went up to the course, and with her short 5’3” stature, she found herself unable to jump up to grab the first bar. It was embarrassing.

She stood there, waiting, panicking, and looking around, at the teacher, at Jack.
It's 9:05 am in Hong Kong.

Good morning, everyone! :D

I do make an effort to read every post and I hope to see such a good growth continually :D
ALRIGHT

Since I'm in Hong Kong, I put Sue on "no-reply mode". She'll just passively follow whatever happens since I am asleep

Please, everyone!

While I am away, please note that Sue amplifies anything she hears passively, so the gym will be very loud because of her. Voices, claps, everything is loud.

Please keep this in mind!

You can help me develop my character by making her an ambient obstacle!
I'm so happy I used a redhead as my character.

“No..,” Sue thought. She didn’t think anyone would come to her. She didn’t want to, it was far too dangerous. How was she going to explain to her that they weren’t supposed to talk to them? That drove most people away, and those that dared often left broken, in one case, literally.

But then he did sign. That relieved her of her first daunting task of social awkwardness, normally involved her flailing her arms at them to get them to quiet down and pressing her ears down. In this case, the boy introduced himself as Jack. What a nice name for a good-looking boy. It was not in her interest to keep anyone close, especially one so …nice.

“What is your name?” he asked.

“Sue,” she signed in return. “You’re smart to not talk, thank you.”

As a friendly gesture, she pursed her lips, index finger to her lips, indicating hush-hush, following a smile that lasted a moment…

…before she realized the predicament she was faced by her caretakers – who would most likely tell her to stay away from anyone.

Sue returned back to looking at the crowd, though she maintained her view of Jack. She hesitantly moved aside, giving space for Jack to sit - but with no intention to reply to him. At least not... until... she doesn't know.

I can take a hint. I'll have Jack talk to her. I was going to add that languages were one of his hobbies. Sign language is a big one for him.

:)
Going to the gym. :D

Well they were not having the race today. Gym came first. He looked over at his dorm. He could stay home if he needed to. He wanted to be around his fellow students. He changed up into a white tee shirt and red shorts. He then walked over to the gym. When he got there he sat down on one of the bleachers and waited. He looked completely bored.

Students were coming, many more loud ones, unaware of Sue’s capabilities. She needed to move. She hoped that whoever was in charge, her caretakers, her teachers, the principle, knew what to do for the sake of everyone.

For the time-being, Sue moved with quiet steps towards the bleachers. Left hand held her right arm, head down; bangs and overflowing hair loose from her beanie became a veil to her face. Sue could see the light floor and the indicating coloured lines, but saw no one else – no one, but one boy. She hoped to have made eye contact, but nevertheless he was not looking in her way. Her steps resounded loud, echoing from her ears, the source of her power. She made her way up to the top of the bleachers, hoping to be away from as much noise as possible. She watched the rest of the crowd amass to the center. Greeting, friendly laughs, the sort of interaction she missed. The sort of interaction she could no longer afford to do. She pressed down on her earmuffs, and inhaled deeply.
