Of course Batman knew that Sue was still there, but nevertheless was shocked to hear her name yelled out loud, as if the Dark Knight was omnipotent. He was as Godly as any human could ever be, and that brought a chill to Sue.
Sue met up with Katherin after her brief meeting with the boyfriend. If she really were going to go out with Batman to find Phoebe, then perhaps this would be one of the greatest developments of her life, to the involved parties’ lives, for a very long time.
Sue walked up to Katherin, and signed: ”Where to?”
Sue stood up from her chair and moved to the door. She opened it and tapped Katherin just on the shoulder.
"You're needed. I have to leave. Good luck." She pinched her shoulder, as to say an affirmation, to wish her well.
She wondered if she could stay close by, and actually listen in on their conversation; perhaps by planting her ear close to the door. She waited for Katherin to enter, before doing just that.
She froze for a second. Phoebe's father was Batman!? That was so cool!
But that was the wrong emotion and thought at the moment. If that were the case, and Batman was almost never wrong, then perhaps now was a good time to entrust him with whatever she knew.
"We... I last saw her at the forest, where our class had the forest paintball wargame. I don't think anyone else saw her, but I talked to her."
”I do have an idea… but I am not sure if she would want me to say it. I’m just curious as to why a particular focus on Phoebe? I mean, I love her and all, but if you wanted her back why isn’t she back already?” she signed, already missing the company of Katherin.
