Kijani nodded, and was relieved that Sue hadn't been hurt. Then she was handed a piece of paper. Apparently Sue wanted her to show off. "Er." Kijani made a soft little noise and felt unsure. She couldn't do much. Or... could she? Like it or not, she'd been ready to carve Mimic's eye out in class hours ago. And all she'd had was a few pages. She'd been in survival mode, then, but maybe she could tap into that, somehow.
Closing her eyes, she laid the piece of paper on her palm. Her power came slowly, in a weak trickle like a blocked faucet, hovering the paper just a few inches from her palm. "Come on..." She murmured. It would be embarrassing if that was all she could do.
It hit her all at once, then, images and sounds and that horrible smell again. With a sharp motion of her hand, she split the paper in two and shot it in opposite directions. Twin white streaks whistled through the air and embedded themselves inches deep in the nearest solid object. One hit a wall, one a tree.
Kijani sat there, shaking and sweating, trying to come back to the present.
Sue watched in wonder with the paper manipulation. She thought it was so cool seeing a power that was not as common as the next one. But she observed Kijani’s face, the trembling and shock showed a discomfort that was obvious to Sue. Sue and she were scared. Both were victims of their powers, though of different origins they were the same.
Sue scooted over to her, and hugged her sincerely.

Flood
Flood was walking around the halls once again. He really needed to get some friends. He saw people standing around and one of them had been crying. He had no idea what to do so he just walked over to them and raised an eyebrow. "So... What's going on?"
Sue turned to acknowledge the boy, simply grinning widely with no emotion to give.
Kijani watched Sue settle, puzzled. She didn't understand sign language, but it seemed Jack did. Feeling a bit left out of the conversation, she went back into her bag for her notebook and a pen. Scribbling out a note to Sue, she held it up. "Does that pose mean someone beat you up or something? I don't know sign language."
Sue shook her head wildly; her hair not hindered by her beanie flowed graciously. She took her note book out, and wrote “No.. Just teasing,” she followed with a grin.
She then tore out a piece of paper and before handing it to Kijani, wrote, “What can you do with this?”
