After a shower, I'm officially here.

You could be born on a ship, Inuyasha. It's probably not unheard of to be born among traveling nomads. Also I think Asuras said something about not filling the last slot just yet but you're definitely free to apply. Just PM the character sheet directly to Asuras.
So I am going to be working for a part of the day. I don't know how long it's going to take to haul all of this crap around but we get payed for whenever we finish it so that's what I got. Might be earlier than eight hours from now. I don't know.
Anyway, I thought I'd share with the rest of the group that I am going to be running a tabletop campaign run in the universe of Aurora. I had a little discussion with Asuras about it and the deal is that these characters will be part of an aside story with characters that will feature within the wiki, meaning the events that take place will be canon. Of course I'll be working closely with Asuras (read: checking to make sure I don't fuck up) so nothing clashes with already decided meta. Strangely enough... it sounds like we are starting on Garude.
Oh but don't worry none of them cares about the silence of life. :D

In the future, Parser, regardless of how much of a dick you think someone is for their blunt as hell speech, if it's on an interest check, don't post it. Keep it to yourself. You're allowed to think whatever you like but please respect the interest checks because they are meant to check for and garner interest and interested players.

You sound a little jaded and that is unfortunate. But anyway I was being serious about the player enthusiasm thing. If it doesn't have you excited then that's fine I just need to find players that are. Actually I was serious about all of it.
I'm not being smug at all, Parser. You're just parsing it that way. I know why, too. The way I talk here in text is really easy to parse as smug nonsense but that's because it's missing inflections and my actual voice tone. I tried to pepper in a frowny face to lighten the mood and show that I'm actually just disappointed. Because I really am just disappointed that jerk chicken isn't hella excited. That's it. He says it's okay but he didn't really jump on it like a beast like I was hoping to see. Also his evaluation was of Tavern Tales I'm pretty sure, which I didn't make. Some other guys on the internet made that.

I was stating a matter of fact without even being that blunt. If he isn't totally on board he probably shouldn't apply. Adding 'I suppose' usually denotes dubiousness, so if one is already dubious about the system then they probably shouldn't bother with it. It'd be a waste of time in the case that they are disappointed. It's not like I called his mother a whore and told him his roleplaying sucks. I just said that if he isn't TOTALLY ON BOARD (read: REALLY INTERESTED), he probably shouldn't join because I'm only as enthusiastic as my players. That plays in to me actually running the campaign, you see.
But I'm going to take a guess and say you probably don't feel like joining, Parser. It sounds like you don't want to get along with me and are more inclined to take offense than take my responses at face value. You know, kind of like it was meant to be, without any snidery or vitriol. Kind of like this one.
