Pro: every bit of energy from the matter-energy conversion can be imparted unto the sword at the moment of destruction. Con: this process takes actual milliseconds, even with the vast energy transfer capabilities of Quolium, and in the meantime, the energy exists in a concentrated, usable form at the location of destruction. Anyone with energy-absorption capabilities could leech off of some of it if they can respond quickly enough.
