A super quick intro about what I'm about just so I don't waste your time:
Ultra-Japanese culture stuff isn't my thing, I like anime, but I have tastes outside of it.
I am looking for real character development and interaction, so anything superficial just to enable fighting, or sex, or 'just a cool idea' isn't my thing.
Roleplays with sex scenes written (and not done in a fade-to-black style) are not for me. I don't mind romance and an erotic atmosphere, but I draw the line at having the roleplay only be about that.
I'm in favor of multiple characters in a single story; this way I get to enjoy every facet of the world we create and don't have to power play my character to get the best outcome. I like the potential for a character to have a bad fate throughout, so when a character does succeed (or survive) then it means more.
I'm going to make a choice to stay away from fandom roleplays, at least for now, because it attracts partners who are more interested in the fandom, and their character's place in it, than the relationship between both our characters.
I have a childish sense of humor and love violent stories and strange and weird things popping up (I believe that your characters can be as bad as they want in a roleplay because its not real life. Knowing the difference makes all the difference). That being said any gore or truly sick story elements that are there just because (squid) you want to roleplay that, instead of characters, is not what I'm looking for. It always has to serve the characters and the story.
I'm also particular about writing style. I'm a stickler for 'show, don't tell' -- so I would want to roleplay in 3rd Person Limited, so you can only describe actions your character makes, what they say, and what actions are happening in the setting nearby. Please no page-long internal monologue which my character is not privvy to. It's enough of an annoyance I feel I have to write it.

So, with the above being said, I have one last thing to mention.
I'll be 100% honest with you from the start about how I'm feeling towards the roleplay. And I'll do my best to check in at least once a day either to continue the roleplay, or just to check in so you know I haven't dropped it. I'll expect the same from my partner. So if there are 48 hours since the last post and no message about availability, I'll assume the roleplay is dropped.
Roleplay Ideas I have:
1. Crew workers on a mining vessel on a long voyage through deep space. From here the roleplay can delve into "Alien", "The Thing", "Silent Running", "Solaris", "Sunshine".
2. Small Town Supernatural Conspiracy. Regular families, co-workers, and students are caught in the middle of a growing threat on their town. Think "Salem's Lot.", "Carrie", "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", "Stranger Things", "E.T".
3. Science Experiments out of Control. In this roleplay we play as people who are on the hunt for a deceased genius scientist's many inventions which have been lost and scattered around town. These inventions can be anything from growth/shrink rays, body-swapping devices, teleportation, to Frankenstein-like experiments, including robots, shapeshifters, you name it.
