Every since her time in Curdun Cay, Merry stopped sleeping laying down in a bed. Instead, she emulated her time in her cell. A web of wires stretched around the apartment she claimed as her own it spanned down hallways and through every room. Her bed, if it could even be called that, was a section of a room completely covered by a web of wires. In a way she can connect herself into the webs, sleeping as if the wires were a pod. Merry finds great comfort in the wires, they work as connectors through her entire house and ever parts of the city. She can feel through them. However, she was currently not sleeping. It was daytime to her knowledge.

Merry crept around her home, the whole place cold and dark as if it was a cave of wire. She moved effortlessly though the wires as they moved out of the way for her. She made her way to the balcony, the only way for her to get fresh air and sunshine. She looked down over the city with a slight frown. Every day things got more and more violent between the human and the bio terrorists. Merry began to climb up the web of wires to the roof of the building. The sheer height of the building didn't seem to scare the young conduit. And neither did the fear of being attacked ever cross her mind.

She had heard about the recent attacks, the recent murders. But these did little to phase her. The two groups, on either extreme of existence, didn't seem to be doing anything other then take whacks at each other. As long as Merry didn't get involved she should be safe. And safe she had been since the evacuation of Curdun Cay. The first thing she had done was mooch her way into New York. She had overheard some other conduits saying it was a safe place to go. And on the way she got herself some new clothes, and some money by pulling a lame 'My mommie and I need money” line to every person who walked by. Sometimes she would get lucky and people would place money in her outstretched hands.

Sometimes she got lonely. Actually it was more then sometimes. Practically every time Merry took a step back and realized how quiet it was she felt alone. So she was always playing music, or watching sometimes on an old television she plugged into a bunch of wires. She would watch old movies and eat whatever bags of chips or sandwiches she could scrounge up for the day. And watching movies almost took her away from this world and into theirs.
Awesome thank you ^u^
Oh wow an infamous rp! If you guys are accepting I would love to join!

Name: Merry Lambert

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Appearance: This

Side: Neutral, but could easily be manipulated either way

Personality: To someone who has just met her, Merry appears to be strangely calm all of the time. She always talks with a relaxed voice and her body language mimics this. Her muscles never seem tense and her eyes have a slight cloud to them that makes it seem like she might not always be 'there'. She is also extremely respectful. If you are older then her then she will listen to anything you say and will do anything you ask her to. The only exception to this is police officers. Once she gets to know someone, however a more childlike side of her emerges. Like most other children, Merry loves to talk to other people. She can make a conversation out of almost anything, however this sometimes comes as a bad thing since she doesn't understand when she needs to be quiet. She also has the tendency to turn things into games, maybe as a way of dealing with fear and stress.

On rare occasions Belle sometimes falls into tantrums. These are seemingly random, one time she might be able to deal with something but the next time it might set her off. For instance, getting slapped might not seem to effect her while stubbing her toe might cause her to scream and cry.

It takes a lot of work to get close to Merry, both physically and mentally. She often tries to avoid people unless told not to and will always act very quietly around people as if scared of messing up and getting in trouble. Merry finds it easier to get along with other conduits, especially those who promise they won't be hurting her. Or if they bring cookies.

Biography: Merry lived a very peaceful and happy life before her powers started showing. She lived in a small town, one in which all of the neighbors knew each other and were all friendly, with her mother. Her mother, although raising a young girl as a single mother, was given lots of support from her work colleagues at the police station. The two of them lived together in their peaceful little house and Merry couldn't be happier. However, having a mother who worked as a police officer, she was exposed to a lot of information about the Conduits. The small town wasn't given much access to the DUP, so many normal police officers became equip to help keep the peace, her mother included.

Bio Terrorist. She heard the word all of the time. But she never thought she would be on the receiving end.

She began showing powers when she was six years old. Her mother had asked her to help untangle some Christmas lights when she found them easily controlled. The young Merry was terrified, she knew what happened to bio terrorists. Her mother assured Merry that she would never turn her in, and this would just be their own little secret. And so it was. Merry started to become very reclusive, keeping away from any sorts of wires. Merry found it harder and harder to hide her powers as time went on, it was almost painful for her to suppress them. Eventually the police were notified. It is unknown to Merry who called the police, if it was a scared neighbor or someone seeing faint movement in wires near Merry.

Several days after Merry's seventh birthday, a squad of armed police officers arrived at Merry's house. Terried, Merry's mother instructed her to hide in the house while she tired to pacify the police officers. Merry stayed huddled in her bedroom, until she heard a gunshot and the sound of her mother screaming. Merry remembers crawling to her bedroom window, and seeing her mother fall to the ground in a puddle of blood, as well as an officer holding a gun out in front of him, aimed where her mother once stood. Merry let out a horrified scream unlike she had ever made before. And then her mind goes completely blank. The next thing she can remember is waking up on her driveway, the police cars and officers around her completely constricted by wires.

And DUP cars pulling up next to her, a Miss Brooke Augustine stepping out.

She spent the next five years locked up in Curdun Cay. She was kept away from other Conduits, always hooked up to wires and machines. The experiments only made Merry feel stronger. Freedom only brought fear to Merry. Curdun Cay had become a home to Merry, Brooke Augustine had become an almost maternal figure to her. Outside of Curdun Cay she had nothing, no home and no family. She now spends her time in an old abandoned apartment building in New York, which is now been altered for her own safety and comfort. Thick wires completely cover the top half of the building. She keeps to herself and takes care of herself. If living in Curdun Cay taught her anything, the only person who can take care of you is you.

Power: Wire Conduit.

Power Abilities-: (Taken shamelessly from an Infamous fan site) This ability allows you to effortlessly stretch, knot and tie cables and/or cords reaching nearly a mile in length. It may even grant the ability to create additional wire-based appendages.

I also took this concept art as an inspiration for her powers.

-Her powers can be used to create orbs of wire around her opponent either to strangle or capture.
-She can use her powers to create additional wire-based appendages as weapons.
-She can weave thick walls of wire around her to form protection from incoming attacks.
-She can launch herself into the air and travel around the city using wires in a spiderman way.

Wire is one of those powers that is easy to learn but hard to master, Merry might often find herself struggling to control her powers at a large scale.

Her powers have also been worked into her 'home'. The building she resides in is completely wound tight with wire, making it near impossible for someone without powers to get in. This is a form of connection for Merry, keeping out any potential threats.

Other: Merry really likes junk food.
The ride to the train station with her mother had been a long and tense one. Louisa wasn't even sure that she wanted to go to the Salem Academy in the first place. She didn't want to get trapped in some school full of stupid rules and teachers and know it all students. Louisa wasn't going down without a fight. She occasionally stole glances at her mother, trying to figure out what she was thinking. But as always her mother was an unreadable book. As her mother drove closer to their destination Louisa leaned her head against the car window and grumbled something about this being a waste of time. Her mother either didn't care or didn't hear her comment. As they pulled into the parking lot Louisa's mother let out a long sigh, as if she had been holding her breath the entire journey. She looked over at her daughter with a smile, one full of longing. Louisa couldn't help but return the gesture, her mother was far too important to her.

The two women got out of the car, Louisa unloading her luggage while her mother went to find a cart to move it with. Once she returned and Louisa had all her stuff, the two began to move towards the platform. Louisa's mother spoke with a wistful voice. "I remember this platform from when I attended school." She affectionately ruffled Louisa's hair as the stopped on the platform. "I want you to remember to be safe Louisa and no matter how much you think this is a bad idea I know you will love Salem." Louisa had a puzzled look on her face. "How did you know I was objecting to leaving home?" Her mother chuckled softly, bending over to give Louisa a kiss on the crown of her head. "I'm a Seer, honey, remember?" The two of them then took a few minutes to go over a checklist of stuff Louisa needed, her mother reassuring her that if she forgot anything she would send it.

After their exchange Louisa was off. She gave her mother a final hug along with being reminded for the hundredth time not to get in trouble.” Louisa promised she would try her hardest. She wasn't sure if she had said that and meant it or if she just wanted to give peace of mind to her mother. Louisa was soon desperately trying to find an empty cabin to sit in. Most of them were filling fast with kids and their friends. Louisa began to feel very alone and small as she shuffled along into an almost empty cabin. There were a few people inside chatting quietly and seemed to be no bother to Louisa as she sat down in an empty booth, staring out the window. She wasn't one to read on a train, or even read for her own enjoyment either. Hopefully the ride to the school wouldn't seem too long.
Name: Avaline

Nicknames/Aliases: Ava

Age: 23

Sex: Female

Gender Identification: Female, however borderline androgynous

Species: Togekiss

Opinion on society[such as the enslaving of gijinkas]: Ava believes in equal rights for all, but understands that Gijinkas can do certain jobs better then normal humans. She is quite content with her current ownership, but knows that other Gijinkas have it much worse then her. She wouldn't be against signing a petition, but taking physical measures is too much of a stretch for her.

Does your character have an owner[gijinkas only]: Yes. Ava is happily owned by an elderly couple as a house keeper and nurse. She has been owned by them since she was released from the government, and helps them in their old age do taking work around the house such as cleaning and cooking. As a happiness pokemon, she also cares for them mentally. Ava has good relations with her owners.

Appearance:

Clothing: As appears in image. Ava loves flowing clothing, rarely wearing pants or shoes unless commanded to. Her clothing always is white as per owners request.

Personality[Don't skimp out on this one]: Ava is a rather calm natured person. She understands and completes tasks given to her to the best of her abilities and respects humans with the utmost care. Ava understands her place in society and does not have the courage nor drive to go against societal norms. Ava is trusted highly by her owners, and for good reason, and appreciates the times she is allowed out of the house without supervision. Ava is extremely submissive and obedient to her masters, and anyone who they approve of. And while sometimes she longs to be treated as an equal in the house, she understands that the old couple would be unable to function without her. And if she was to run away another poor gijinka would take her place. One thing Ava loves is meeting other owned gijinkas when her owners have house parties or take her out to gatherings. Ava is also a huge fan of playing music and singing.

Past: Ava cannot remember much about her past and prefers to keep it that way. She was sold to the program at a young age because of a debt her parents had fallen into. Years later she was bought out of the program by two wealthy elderly people, very influential in the program. Ava worked happily for them for years, glad to be freed from the less then glamorous life of the program. Years after that Ava heard that all gijinkas in the program had been issued to be freed, but some were being captured as slaves. The idea of freedom was a strange and unthought of thing to Ava. Until, once when she overheard her masters conversing about a gijinka who killed his masters and ran away to live in the woods.

Move Set[gijinka only]: Return, Fly, Extreme Speed, Roost.

Ability[Gijinka only]: Serene Grace
Okay I've made my decisions and will start working on sheets!
