Dang it Woodrow was my favorite character, and one of my favorite presidents.
Oh hey Allen sorry I hadn't seen Gabe talked to Alex. love you bae
Yeah I have problems with often making my characters too overpowered.
Lieo you are a huge bum and I love you
Alex had been making small talk with Lynn outside the administration office. It was mostly Alex talking so it could barely be called small talk. Alex seemed fully animated, most of her talking seemed to be coming out of her constant use of gestures and facial expressions. Alex seemed to jump from topic to topic so quickly, but at the same time it all seemed to flawlessly flow together. One moment she could be talking about video games and then quickly switch over to her political standpoint. And before that conversation can get too deep she is back into how much she loves video games. Alex was just one of those people who could build a conversation off of almost nothing, as long as Lynn nodded or spoke once in a while she would be good.

“But yeah! There is this one part in the game where you have to kill your dad and whoops! I'm spoiling the whole thing! If I keep telling you the story you won't want to play it with me because there is this awesome twist in the end where it turns out your dad wasn't the bad guy!” Alex smiled, as if she had just won a prize, before her face fell slightly. “Oh shoot. I spoiled the ending.”

Luckily for Alex, before she could scold herself for spoiling the ending of her favorite video game to Lynn, another person joined in the conversation. Another young lady, probably a first year by the way she came over to speak to two strangers. And by what she was saying it was clear to Alex who the lady was. Alex gave a grin, and anyone who was closely observing would have noticed her facial expression change for just a fraction of a second to an almost flirty look. “I dunno, it you passed me on the street I'm sure I would have to look over my shoulder to get a second glace at you.” Her expression then changed back into her childish grin.

“But in all seriousness, I'm Alex. Looks like we are roommates.” Alex was pretty glad she knew how to pronounce her roommates name now, it would have been pretty awkward to walk up to the person she would be sharing a room with and ask for help pronouncing a name.

Kylie walked along with the other survivors. She, while thankful for the added protection, couldn't help but feel like she entered a dangerous situation. She kept her eyes low as she tried to keep up with the other survivors, her pace seemed odd as she tried to hide the limp in her leg. Their names were easy to remember, Hannah, Oskar and Woodrow. She couldn't help but think about life before the dead rose. She had a friend down the block named Hannah when she was young and a teacher who's first name was Oskar. And Woodrow Wilson happened to be the name of one of her favorite presidents. Kylie decided to remain silent, they didn't need to know her name.

The gunshot brought Kylie out of her thoughts as her hand instinctively flew to the machete on her hip and her legs parted in a fighting stance. She looked up at Hannah as she took control of the situation. She couldn't help but be reminded of her situation earlier in the ambulance. And as the figure appeared and Hannah didn't shoot, Kylie knew that she must know the other woman. Camella, like Kylie guessed, was confirmed when Hannah called her Cam. And then things started getting worse. The fence had fallen over onto Camella and trapped her.

Kylie looked panically around the group of survivors as they quickly tried to make a plan. Kylie watched as Oskar and Hannah ran down the street, away from the walkers. They had given up so quickly on their friend. But to Kylie's shock the older man did not. He had given her a gun and quick directions. Kylie swallowed back her nerves and panic to nod. “Yes Sir.” She spoke in a hushed voice as he went back to help Camella. She couldn't help but bask in how brave his actions were, going back to help a friend.

She looked over the gun briefly. She hated firing guns she hated the sound and the pain in her hands. But her own comfort was about to be pushed aside to help a total stranger. Kylie lined up the shot, taking a deep breath before aiming for one of the walkers heads. Always the head. She watched as the man fought the walkers with his bare hands. Amazing. She then heard his voice as he began to free Camella. “Yes Sir!” Her voice almost sounded confident. She could see two coming, the imidiet threat. She quickly put bullets between their rotting eye sockets. But after shooting the second bullet, and watching a walker fall, Kylie began to feel very faint. Between starving and the booming noise in her ears she struggled to regain her footing.

The third shot Kylie fired struck the walker where its ear once was, sending it flinching but not killing it.

Ah right cool. At work right now, and my archaic phone aint capable of writing proper posts. Be another 4-5 hours yet for me, sorry if that's a problem in any way.

No problem! I'm going to the beach with a friend because it's the last day of my summer vacation.
wow things got messy last night. For a forum that suffers from glitchy posts im surprised there isn't a delete button.

Regardless, Hamster I did respond to you on the first page, it might have gotten buried.

Kylie held her breath as the stranger looked her up and down. She felt sick, terrified in case this girl found something on Kylie she didn't approve of. She only felt more anxious as the woman turned away, telling Kylie to stay where she was. At that point Kylie thought about running, but then again she had a rifle. And last time Kylie checked she couldn't outrun a bullet. The woman then turned back to Kylie after flashing some symbols to what Kylie could only assume was the rest of her group. Apparently Kylie passed whatever silent test occurred. But god she was scared.

She watched in silence as the rest of the group gathered, then began to argue. They weren't quite as intimidating as Kylie expected. There was no way these people were bandits. The bandits that attacked her group were large in numbers and extremely violent. They also covered their faces. This woman was clearly the leader of the group, and it seemed like she ran a tight ship. Kylie tried to follow their argument, but found herself getting lost in names she didn't know. The man who came up to her seemed kind, she noticed his brief smile before he spoke, he told her she was safe. Glancing at the weapons in the strangers hands made Kylie doubt this.

And things just kept getting worse. Kylie looked visibly more nervous as the group of walkers approached their group. She could only wonder what might have happened if she had remained in the ambulance. The rest of the group began making plans, and Kylie considered for the second time to leg it. But then she was addressed. They are letting her come with them? Kylie, at first didn't speak. She had a group already, but she knew that group was gone. There was no way they would be able to regroup. Kylie took in a shaky breath as she nodded to Hannah. "I...uh understand...group dynamics...ma'am..."

What the older man said to her almost made her reconsider. She expected a little bit of a softer response from an elderly man. Kylie always thought of old men as gentle giants. She then remembered the dead were walking. "Yes sir, I understand." She spoke in a soft tone, trying to hide her panic. She lowered her machete to her side. Kylie soon found herself asking, who do I trust more a herd of walkers or a group of survivors.

It was smarter to move in a group, by herself Kylie knew she wouldn't last much longer. She walked along with the group of survivors, feeling their gazed on her. She had only wished she had gone back for that battery she dropped.
