Alex

Alex continued to eat as if what she had said about her sleeping for three hours was completely normal. After finishing her first cup of coffee she picked up her second, blowing the steam off of it. Alex knew that she didn't need the caffeine boost, and yet she continued to drink coffee throughout the years. “Yeah the moon here is super cool! I think it's because we are in the middle of nowhere. If we were surrounded by skyscrapers and smoggy factories the moon wouldn't be as bright!” Alex spoke with a lot of pep in her voice, as if this was the absolutely best thing in the world. She listened to what Lynn said with a smile on her face, it was nice to hear her friend speak. For Alex it seemed like she was always talking, so it was nice to hear someone elses voice for a change. And Lynn had an interesting way of speaking. Not only did she speak with a lot of profanities, she just had a cool way of saying things.

After Lynn gave her description of her roommate Alex jumped back into the conversation. “Yeah I know her! I saw her yesterday!” As long as the one-eyed girl didn't mess with Lynn everything would be okay. The last thing Alex wanted was for Lynn to have a bad time at the Academy because she was assigned a crappy roommate. And even though Lynn didn't mention it, Alex had to throw in her own description of her roommate. “My roommate is pretty cool, she doesn't mind my glowing and woke up early to smoke weed.” Her voice was almost too loud for comfort. “But she doesn't seem like a bad person so I'm fine.” She then nodded. “Yeah...I don't want to come to some super cool school to do math.”

She then shook her head. “Nah...I haven't heard anything about the arena.” She then went quiet again, finishing off her plate of food and starting up her coffee again. “You must be a really good fighter Lynn!” She said with a grin, one that disappeared for only a second when Lynn asked if she was a fighter. “I...uh...” She looked as if she was struggling to form words. “I've gotten in a few fights...nothing too major...” She looked like she was hesitating, as if wondering if she should continue talking or just leave it at that. She left it as it was. “I normally try to avoid using my powers to harm others.”

But as soon as Lynn mentioned watching each other's backs her eyes lit back up. If anything this might have been the most excited Lynn had ever seen her. Her eyes seemed to be twinkling and her hair seemed to drift around, glowing with some strange energy. Yep the moon was bright last night. “So we are like partners now!” If Lynn was paying enough attention she might observe tiny bursts of light around Alex, fading quickly into the sunlight. “Oh my goodness! We can be like each others sidekicks!”

Dude, stop refreshing the page when it goes blank! We've been through this, you're scaring people. For all I know Dragon tried to respond to me, but got buried alive under the avalanche and is stuck. How long can someone live for when buried under posts? 2 days? Well she's dead then, aint no way we're getting her out of that.

-crawls out of pile, is now a zombie-

but yeah I have no idea where we should be going.
Okay sounds cool. Once you post some assembly details I'll post
I wouldn't mind some interaction. Or maybe a recap of what happened during the assembly, like maybe what the explanation of becoming a resident is and what the case workers do.
I'm not happy Allen, I demand a back massage
The funny thing about the Ruben and Callie ship is that they are posed in similar ways in the photobook
Mary Poppins

Alex had considered eating lunch with her roommate, of whom she was almost one hundred percent sure was high. Alex, even during her little moon trance, had seen Aislin dig through her backpack, go into the bathroom, lock the door and then come out coated in perfume and wearing sunglasses. It wasn't that Alex minded, but she found it rather funny. Once she arrived in the cafeteria, her plate loaded with whatever hash brows she could get her hands on, as well as bacon and eggs, she went to find Lynn. Alex had passed Aislin sitting with some other students, and Alex didn't want to intrude. She also wanted to see how Lynn was doing. Alex balance her food in an almost dangerous way as she made her way through the cafeteria, finally finding Lynn when her voice called out to her.

She couldn't help but laugh when Lynn referred to her as Mary Poppins, almost spilling her plate of food while doing so. She walked over to her friend setting down her plate and the two cups of coffee she had balanced on top of each other. She gave Lynn a chipper “Good Morning!” before chowing down, her food barely being chewed before another forkful entering her mouth.

“Yeah I slept great!” She said, taking a break in her eating. “I got a whole three hours! The moon is so bright here!” She took three large gulps of her coffee, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. “How about you? Did you sleep okay?” She was about to start eating again, when she remembered another thing she meant to ask her. “How is your roommate? Do you guys get along okay?”

She continued eating as Lynn spoke to her. “Yeah I agree...I want to do stuff with my powers. If I have to sit through a math class today I might just explode.” On the word explode her glow seemed to intensify a bit. “I hope we all get cool gym uniforms, like in the movies!”
I really love the walking dead video game. It gets pretty sad but also extremely rewarding.
Cool character :3

Rookery is the assembly post coming soon?
Kylie was glad to be off the road and into the Humvee. They actually seemed safe for once. The car was armored so the zombies couldn't get in, and the car was moving fast enough to out speed the pursuing zombies. It felt good to get off her feet for a moment as she settled into the seat, her eyes heavy. But now was not the time for a nap. Kylie looked over at Hannah with a worried expression. "I...uh...know a bit about first aid. I can see what I can do." Kylie had been hoping that Hannah knew what to do, being all bad ass and whatever. Kylie began to sort through the first aid kit. "I once worked as a life guard over the summer, so I could save some money for college." Kylie pulled a brown bottle out of the kit, reading the label to confirm that it was hydrogen peroxide. Once she was satisfied that it was hydrogen peroxide and not deadly poison or something, she began to unscrew the cap.

"And all of the lifeguards had to take a first aid class, mostly for CPR in case some kid choked on pool water." She began to drip a bit of the solution onto a wad of cotton. "I had to deal with a few scraped knees in my day, like when a pool goer slipped or ran too close to the pool." She sighed. "Okay Camella, this is going to sting, but I need you to hold still." She began to clean the wound, trying to keep Camella still. Once she was satisfied she began to unroll a roll of bandages. Kylie just hoped Camella wouldn't need stitches. She wrapped up Camella's leg very carefully before looking up at Hannah. "This is about as far as my medical knowledge goes, I'm not sure what to do about the bone."

This was a lot harder then treating skinned knees.
