I should sleep as well, night!
Cal snarled again, really tempted to say something but decided instead to hold her tongue. The last thing she needed was to piss off Adrian, have him punch her in the face then go running to the Alpha. Cal prayed that someday a wolf bit him in the balls. Something about the way Adrian was acting really pissed Cal off. Like how he mentioned this girl ran, and he pursued. She was probably running out of fear. And Adrian most likely was jumping the gun. He was playing leader. Cal let out a sigh and gave the girl a sympathetic look. She knew the others would take care of Hide and until a Alpha showed up she had nothing to do but get madder. She needed to cool down. Ran ran her fingers through her short hair, walking past Adrian towards one of the 'bedrooms' of the apartment.

"Someone call me when the leader gets here."
I'm tempted to have Cal say something really childish when it's confirmed that she didn't attack Hide

"Told you so."
Cal let out a started gasp as Adrian practically threw the girl down into a chair in their apartment. Everyone seemed to be pointing fingers, saying she was the one to attack Hide. Cal knew this couldn't be true. Not only was this girl much, much, smaller then Hide, but just by her demeanor it was easy to tell she was freaked out. "What the...what the fuck Adrian?" Cal knew that, technically, Adrian was of a higher rank then her in the pack. But this current situation was outside pack control. She let out a growl as she took a step closer. "You really mean to tell us that this is how to treat suspects? For all you know this girl could have done nothing wrong." And if this girl did in fact attack Hide, then she would have easily been able to take out Adrian. "I mean there must have been a different way to handle this situation!"
I feel like Cal is gonna be pretty pissed at Adrian for beating some chick up

(And with that I sleep)
The Next Day:

For the young Cordelia, sleep came easily. Sleep always came easily to her. She almost found the silence of her new room relaxing. She was used to sleeping with all of her brothers and sisters, constantly yelling and fighting with each other until their parents ultimately split them apart. She had never had her own room or even her own bed. And everything was so white and clean. It was extremely...nice. Even the nurse who brought her medicine was nice, talking to her while giving it. The nurse always spoke in a soft voice, and she always smiled. Later in the evening a suitcase of belongings was delivered to her room, various articles of clothing, a tooth brush, some of her favorite books and a stuffed animal shaped like a mouse.

The dark escape of sleep came even easier then normal. Her own exhaustion mixed with the medication allowed her sleep to be long and deep. Her dreams were extremely vivid, full of warm tea and cakes being served. Yet in this dream she was alone, her parents for once not in attendance. She was awoken for breakfast, but told her nurse she felt too groggy to eat just yet. And instead fell back to sleep. She then was awoken for lunch, being told that she had to go eat. Cordelia could hardly complain as she was escorted to the cafeteria. She had made one condition however, she refused to wear shoes to the cafeteria. The nurse begrudging agreed.

She was given a tray full of food and went to sit by herself at a table. She glanced nervously from her tray of food to the people around her. She began to nibble endlessly at it, guarding her food with her arms. She could almost imagine her brothers and sisters arriving out of nowhere, eating all the best parts of her meal and leaving her with the scraps. Her large eyes bounced around the room, taking in the scene around her.
Woo time skip!
Sorry for the late post, I've been out and about all day
Eventually Cal was all thought out, and the cigarette between her lips was a mere stub with an orange glow at the end. With a soft sigh Cal dropped the cigarette to the ground by her feet, snuffing it with the toe of her shoe. She should probably start the walk back to the apartment. The last thing she wanted was to get scolded by her family pack, for being out early in the morning without telling anyone. It was just about time for everyone to be waking up, another long day for them.

As much as the pack truly felt like a family to Cal, she was far too shy to call them such. Perhaps it was her crippling fear of becoming attached to something, only to lose it and become abandoned. Even then so Cal would sometimes slip and call the older wolves in the pack mom or dad. After that she would cuss for minutes straight, get all flustered, and often have to leave the conversation.

She decided it would be best to do through the back door, maybe avoiding any stern pack members. As she walked up the back steps of the apartment building Cal swore she had heard voices and smelt the fading scent of cigarettes, but passed it off as her just being tired and stressed. She opened the door slowly and closed it as softly as possible, as if not sure if she wanted the rest of her pack to realize she was back. She listened to the quiet conversations and the soft glow of whatever cheap lighting this place had. That with the smell of tea and food wafting through the air, it almost felt homely. She sheepishly walked into the kitchen, trying to contain her hungry stares as she looked around at her pack members.
I hadn't planned on Cal finding them, because I typed most of my post before I went to bed last night.
