Gender: Male
Background: One of the last sane Darksign wielders. His head bleeds occasionally. He's been fighting to keep his sanity since the moment his forehead exploded with the black, hot liquid that his blood has become. Every time this cursed slime leaks from his scalp, he can feel himself slipping a little more. His faith and intellect helped keep him from falling to mindlessness immediately. Keeping his mind and body constantly moving and working, he's kept himself very sane. So far. When he came across this old town, he remembered word of the crest of the old man he saw above the door. Hearing the old man's words, Brennen was inspired to take up arms to end what had been started by others in his position. If the ash from the Ancient Ages is returning, the cycle of light and dark could be in its waning time. Anything to end all this suffering is best.

@Pathfinder no covenant items to start with, but you guys will (depending on how you play out the world) come across ancestors of the DS covenants.
