Since the days of old, human beings have always been preyed upon by those creatures that dwell within the world in the shadows. For century's mankind were helpless to the might of the creatures of the night, and it seemed these dark forces may reign forever. Humanity was on the brink of destruction until the intervention of the a clan of warriors comprised of the most skilled fighters, tacticians, and inventors from everywhere around the globes came together with the purpose of hunting and destroying the creatures of the supernatural that would cause
humanity harm. As the centuries passed this clan of warriors became an organization known as The Slayers, a group of men and women dedicated to hunting the supernatural creatures that harmed humans.
Centuries have passed since the founding of The Slayers, and their existence is necessary to keep the human race safe. A experienced Slayer by the name of Mathias Blackwell is one of the organizations top Slayers and has given half his life to the order. Mathias adopts a group of children and trained them in the ways of a Slayer in order to carry on his legacy. Now the kids are in High school and must deal with hunting creatures of the occult as well dealing with the trials of everyday High school life.

Short bio: A very powerful and skilled slayer, Mathias devoted his entire life to the Order. He was sent on a mission to slay a witch who was moonlighting as the caretaker at an orphanage and had been sacrificing the children to gain more power and then would lie and say they were adopted off. He infiltrated the orphanage during one of these rituals and killed the witch. Once she lay dead, in a sudden moment of compassion he took the surviving orphans in as his own and trained them to be Slayers.

Appearance:
Short bio: Samuel was abandoned by his Mother when he was 4 and left him in front of the orphanage he has no idea why nor does he care. Since then he was the defiant one in the orphange always questioning when one of the kids would be "adopted" out of the blue and would stand up for the other kids. This put him at odds with the witch caretaker who beat him constantly for challenging her. He was actually set to be the sacrifice the night when Mathias killed her. He taken to the Slayer lifestyle well and finds it an excellent way to work out his aggressions

Age: 15
Appearance: Kiara stands at 5'4" and weighs about 120 lbs. Her shoulders are broader than you'd expect for a girl and her muscles are well toned, clearly a result of some serious physical activity. In contrast, though, she has narrow hips. Her skin is dark in color and her face is speckled with a few freckles. She has beautiful eyes--brown but dotted with emerald--that are generally accented by make up. Her most distinctive feature is probably her hair, which is a curly, loose afro, which isn't regularly styled in one way or another: sometimes she leaves it alone in all its fluff, though sometimes she pull it back into a poofy pony tail. She tends to wear V-necks, dark colors, heavy boots, and the occasional hat to switch up her hair style.
Bio: Kiara was at the orphanage since she was a baby. She was born to a teen mother who gave her up for a adoption, and she stayed at the orphanage until Mathias adopted her. The training she has been given has always resonated with her, but she was never impressive at it compared to her other siblings. She doesn't have much to show at school either, as her grades are well below average. However, she's a hopeful and optimistic, adorkable girl who tries her hardest anyway.

Appearance:
Short bio: Avery grew up with a poor family (Her younger sister May, her mother and her father), who were only just coping because of her father's drug addiction. But, when they couldn't pay the rent any longer, they had to live on the streets. Because May was only 5, she died of malnutrition when Avery was 9. Her father son passed away from consuming too many drugs and alcohol. After these traumatic events, Avery and her mother coped for another year until her mother committed suicide. She lived on the streets for a few more years, behind a burnt-down building. Eventually, she was picked up by the orphanage.
Personality: Avery looks cute and innocent, but she is the complete opposite! She is a fierce, fearless and stubborn character, especially when fighting. During battle, she is tactical and you can guarantee she will conquer the beast, one way or another. In school, she is extremely smart and logical. But she is in no way a nerd, and is confident, popular and a bit mental. :P

Short bio: Koryie or Kor like he likes to be called was one of the older kids in the orphanage. He ran away from home when he was 12 because his father was an abusive drunk, he knew that if he would've stayed he would of been killed or would've killed his deadbeat father. He never knew his mother because she died giving birth to him. His dad called him the devil spawn, he blames Kor for killing his mother because he says Kor was born from pure evil. That is the total opposite of Kor he likes to help out his friends and always is there for anyone in need. He didn't know that running away would just lead him into a deadlier situation at the orphanage. He was happy when Mat (Mathias) saved him and the other orphans from that evil witch. He looks up to Mat like a father that cares for his kids and doesn't call them devil spawn or hell baby.

Matilda stands at 5'10, she is agile and very lethal at around 110lbs, making her very light on her feet and skinny enough to show ribs when lifting up her shirt. She has scars all across her back, an old burn mark going from her waist to her collarbone, and a missing toe.
Short bio: Matilda was born to a small town mother, her mother was said to be sweet yet Matilda found this wasn't the case. Instead her mother abused her five children, always pregnant and always hateful. So finally one day Matilda ran, beaten and skinny with scars splayed across her fragile frame. And she was soon welcomed into the orphanage.
The orphanage was a blessing at first, she felt welcomed there, it was a simple life too. That was until she viewed the killing of a child, one of her siblings in another, seemingly distant life. She had cried alone, never telling anyone, afraid of being killed or horribly abused once more. The thing was though, the witch had saw her peeking in, and she had used Matilda to get more children, it was a system. Something that Matilda will never forget.

Personality: of all of his brothers and sisters he is probably one of the most laid back of the group almost to the point of being called lazy, while it is true in other aspects of his life he doesn't shirk his duties as a slayer and takes training very seriously. He tends not to sweat the small stuff and tries not to let things bother him, and tends to have a very sarcastic sense of humor often teasing the others from time to time or pointing out the obvious for comic affect. When it comes to emotional support Lin isn't the best shoulder to cry on, he doesn't like talking about feelings and as such tends to avoid emotionally charged conversations and situations as tends to think more on the analytical side of things, but that doesn't mean he isn't willing to listen and make jokes to lighten the mood

Appearance: Beautiful black locks of hair frame an attractive face. Her eyes are of a purple hue you have never seen before in a human, but perhaps she is wearing contacts. She looks slightly haughty, but this seems to come from sadness rather than arrogance. She wears an intricate golden necklace. The only thing ruining her appearance is a scar in her neck. When she is lost in thoughts she often touches it.
Short bio:Taya used to be a prodigy: The best at fighting, the best at class. Everything came easy to her, and she took pride in training. Mathias was her father and he meant everything to her.
Then, one day, she met a boy at school, Alan Ricman. He was popular, he was good at sports, he shared her interests, even in unusual weapons. He was perfect, and her falling in love with him was inevitable. One day her father came to her and told her about a werewolf at her school they needed to exterminate. Of course, it turned out to be Alan. Taya was hardbroken, but still believed that Alan loved her, so when Mathias and the others killed him something broke inside of her. She left the house and has not contacted the family since. She took her weapons with her, but hasn't trained with them anymore.

This spinning disc is impossibly sharp and emits flames when thrown. Spinning it around her finger causes it to emit a blinding light that hurts especially supernaturals. It functions as some kind of (deadly) frisbee, returning to her hand.
