Alex is still very much bleeding. Though it seems he hasn't lost enough blood for that to be the probable cause of him passing out from blood loss itself. Which is good the see he isn't going to die in the next few seconds without a doctor and blood transfusion. But regardless I doubt losing any more blood is going to be a good thing. And applying pressure hasn't worked, and a tourniquet may not work. I'd say we just try to cauterize the wounds and get it over with. There was a fireplace with the wood we'd need in the living room, and the papers in the other room are pretty useless. We can use those to start a fire, and I do keep my knife clean, so we can use that.
Might as well inform Kludd of my plan, "If he won't stop bleeding we should just cauterize the wounds and since there's a bit of prep work, I'm going to go work on that in the fireplace in the living room. But if he stops bleeding let me know if you could," I then go over to Jasper, "If you still got that lighter I could use your help in starting a fire."
Big Mood
but at least it's still a better set up than the website we set this up on originally
Isaac:
Ilyssa walks up to me, "Do you still have that lockpicking kit? There’s a door in the next room, but it’s been locked using an old padlock.”
I pull it out, then slide it back into my pocket as I head over to where the old padlock is.
[IO2288] calculating best tool . . .
I pull out the best picks and get to work, though I try to be careful since I don't know if the rust has damaged any of the mechanisms inside and I don't want to do anything to risk it. After a little bit, I manage to get the lock.
I look to Ilyssa "There now the door should be able to be opened, I hope you don't mind if I head back the others. Despite my words, it would be . . . unfortunate if Alex ended up bleeding out, yeah?"
I just realized other than Kludd and my character, everyone's character is a minor. That's such a ridiculous situation. At the same time, I love it. It's so stupid, yet brilliant at the same time.
Isaac:
I look over at Kludd and then look back at Fillan, "A reasonable reaction considering the circumstances. And I'm Isaac, welcome to the team," I give a smile before looking away.
"Right then, with the lights on that means powers running. Which means there may be other things in the house we can use. But I think we should first search for supplies namely food and water. While I may be fine without I know that, especially the humans among us, won't survive long without it. We don't know when the last time any of us have eaten since we don't know what time it is now. So finding resources should be a priority. After that, we need to find a section of the house and secure it, so that way we have in a sense a home base. It will give us a location to regroup and put whatever we find. Does that sound like a good plan?"
Isaac:
"Im fine, its more everything has gone completely pear-shaped and people have decided that apparently yelling is the solution. Suffice to say I would be rather fed up with them doing this. But we should be able to get everyone to chill out. But its not like I can really feel so whatever. How about you, you were out in the void and when you get pulled out everything is getting loud. Excessive stress has negative effects on humans. So how are you holding up?" I send back.
Isaac:
"Hello? Can you hear me?" A voice rings out in my head.
[IO2288] scanning telecommunication message for source . . . scan complete
Huh it appears to be coming from Fillan, well he did just prove he could communicate with technology, so I suppose it's not too surprising he can also use telecommunication.
"Hello, and yes I can hear you. Did you need something?" I send back through the communication line.
Isaac:
What. The. Fuck. Can I quit existence, now? One moment everything is all peaceful next stuff is getting blown up and everybody is yelling.
I grab my beanie of my head and put it to my face, "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa," just muffled yelling. Nothing to see here folks.
I overhear Kludd, ask this Fillan person to see if he could ask the lights to turn on. And I hope that the electricity is on because I have no clue where the generator would be stored for this place. And I rather we don't keep smashing walls and blowing stuff up just to find it.
Eventually, I stop yelling and put my beanie back on, "Also another rule, before we make any big decisions we should hold a vote. Ie, going back outside, breaking a wall; things like that we should vote on. Because I don't know about anyone else, but I know that I don't exactly have medical supplies here. So it would be in our best interest to avoid getting injured when possible. Sound good?"
@Canidae
Yeah rip my boy, but they would count as technology and I tempted to have them say how there aren't alive. I'm hurting a character who constantly insist they aren't hurt and can't actually feel.
Alright, I still think it would be fun in the meantime if my character used their lights to find the rest of the building's power. which is a horrible thing to say since it's really not pleasant for them to light up. it's actually kinda traumatizing, I don't know why but I like traumatizing my characters I guess, so rip them. and I hope I don't mess with anyone too much w/ the description.
