The bishop should probably be an NPC. If someone had a bishop then they would immediately wield more power than pretty much anyone else in terms of politics and prestige.Priests themselves usually, while part of the household, acted quite independently. The bishop, for example, would likely have his own palace/manor/castle somewhere and receive quite a hefty income. Priests I'm not as sure about. Parish priests would receive money from tithes. As to ones that served only the lords, I assume they would receive some sort of tithe as well, most likely from part of the lord's income.I see.
