Well, not quite sure what I should say, but I suppose, to all the people that help Newbies like me find my way, pleasure to make your acquaintance. Just thought I'd pop my head in and introduce myself. Evidently, I'm new around this part of town. I've never forum role-played before, but when I was a bit younger I had a teacher who taught me to play D'n'D. I also play a fair amount of video games, and often find myself trying to RP. However, these experiences always feel lacklustre, I think due to the fact that A) It's just me experiencing it and B) Game worlds are a bit restrictive in that some choices that feel in character are unable to be made. Thus, I scoured the internet and found forum rp'ing (or more like stumbled over the idea in a different forum). Nevertheless, I'm quite interested in at least exploring this facet of the rp univers. I'm also interested in meeting new and friendly people (I live a very solitary life) I'll probably just wade into the shallow end of the metaphorical pool, but if anyone has any good suggestions I would be happy to hear them out.
