Skills

Will is a very proficient carpenter and blacksmith, he makes weapons and armour for the local soldiers stationed not far from his house. He is a deadly archer and has been practicing archery everyday since he was 11, he also made his first bow at the age of 14.

Backstory

Will's father, Darren, was a soldier and died while Will was still young. His mother, Estelle, died in childbirth. Will was raised by his grandfather, Henry, until he was old enough to move out. He left his grandfather's house at the age of 19 and set-up is own forge a few miles away so he could still help his grandfather if he needed to.

His grandfather was a carpenter and taught him everything he knew while he was growing up. By the time has was 15 he was helping in his grandfather's workshop and going out on jobs for him. He also started his blacksmith apprenticeship shortly after and had to leave for 3 years to work in the nearest blacksmith, which was 20 miles away. Will came back most weekend to see his grandfather, who had bought him a horse to help with the journey's. After completing his apprenticeship, Will moved back with his grandfather and decided to build a house, with Henry's help, a few miles down the road.

Will has been supplying the local soldiers with weapons and armour for nearly 3 years now and they are very appreciative of his work. He is currently working on some new technologies to help improve his forge and his thinking of extending his business and building a carpentry workshop as his grandfather is getting to old to keep up with the demands of being the village carpenter.

It was a warm summer's evening and the sun was shining low in the sky. Will had been working at the forge all day so he decided to finish early and go for a stroll along the river bank not far from where he had been working. He decided to take a seat under a great oak tree a few metres back from the river and watched as the sun descended towards the horizon.
