Fearless Hunters 
Abigail  “Abby” Athena  Smart
Appearance:

Age: 9 ½ 

Personality: Abby has always tried to be ‘the perfect. The ‘perfect sister’ the ‘perfect daughter’.   Making ‘perfect’ a part of her personality.  She also spent most of her life trying to appease everyone to the least violent solution, making her more than a little manipulative, for the good of all of course. 

History:
Abigail is the eldest daughter of Earl Smart and Sera “Vondela” Smart. The eldest child of a set of triplets.  Unlike her middle sister, Lotte, who was the crazy trouble maker and her other sister Ash, who was the pretty nice one, Abby grew up learning to get her way by being ‘perfect’ and obeying the rules so she could bend them in her favor. 
 
Rules like, ‘always be daddy’s little girl’ so that he’ll love you enough to not kill her sister because you’ve begged.  Always pray and praise the lord so the nun will listen to you when you say that ‘Lotte didn’t mean it’ and save her from her fourth beating of the day.  Be kind, be obedient, be ordinary so that others can feel extraordinary. Be what they’ll love, so that their love will find you. 
 
After being sent to the church to help pay for her sisters ‘care’  Abby took on the role of ‘mother’ and ‘protector’  to her sisters. Although Lotte might disagree as Abby did allow ‘some’ harm to come to her sister. After all, if she ALWAYS protected her, how would Lotte ever learn to play the game? 
 
After Ash was…murdered,  Abby’s goals switched to three, and only three things. Find a way to destroy Mat. Who took her sister away from her. Find Lotte and drag her back, kicking and screaming if need be and third.... Please her new ‘family’ of hunters, as it is the best, if not only, way to survive.

Hunter “Clay”  Hale 

Appearance: 

Age: 26 

Personality:

Clay lacks a lot of passion particularly  when it comes to his job. He usually only cares about witches when his personal funds run pathetically low.  On one famous occasion a  frantic woman came racing into a tavern begging him to help her with a witch problem.  After a brief conversation with the inn keeper about finances and debt his response was essentially “I’m good, but thanks for asking.”  A less famous incident was when he came across a witch in the middle of a blood ceremony. Because rent wasn’t due for another week or so, he left her with a vague shrug. 

His utter lack of passion for his job bleeds over into his personality to an extent. Until the ale sets in, when he become a more interesting person.  

History:
He has a sister, supposedly.  Although he had never met her, she was gone well before he was born.  But his mother often told him stories about how she and his father had tried for years to have a child, when finally they were blessed to have a little girl who was “as prefect as prefect could be”. Only to have her snatched away by a cruel and ugly witch over a debt of some sort. 

Which is where he came in. 

His mother, already elderly by the time he was born, died soon after his birth. Full of anger and spite, she made her final request that he’d be named Hunter and would hunt down the demons of the earth so that no other would be forced to live in a ‘childless’ house hold. Through no fault of their own, of course. 

So his father, who was also elderly, more fit for grandchildren than fatherhood named him Hunter and used up  most of the families fortune setting Hunter up with various witch hunter, training him to be everything his mother ever wanted. 

When his father died close to his 16th birthday, Hunter took the families remaining fortune and split. Renaming himself Clay and seeking ANY future but the one laid before him.  But funds dried up and he had no choice but to return to the life of a hunter.  But he kept the name. 

Because a hunter named Hunter just sounds stupid. 

Signature Weapon: Crossbow 

Things they look for in a partner: Rich. Or someone with land as  Clay dreams of being a farmer.  But for the time being, he mostly just wants someone to help pass the time with. 
Pets/Familiars:
While he denies having a pet, he did accidentally feed a cat one time. Now the creature follows him from place to place. Breaking into rooms for warmth when it is cold and stealing food right out of his hand.  He calls it “U.B.”

Personality:
Em takes after her father a lot.  While she is vicious on the hunt, she is kind and jovial in the tavern.  She doesn’t hate being a girl and  doesn’t hate on others for wanting to be more ‘traditional’. 

History: Em’s father was once a  witch hunter known throughout the land for his brutality and black and white view of good and bad.  One might think that would have spilled over into his personal life, making him a cruel and strict man, but that wasn’t the case at all. At home he was an incredible kind family man.  While he would have liked for one of his six sons to follow in his foot steps, he supported each of their individual endeavors, even if it lead them away from the hunting path.
Then his seventh child was born. Emiliah, his only daughter.  It was clear from a very young age that she wasn’t the “settling down type” and, after a few horridious accidents in the kitchen, didn’t have a “domestic bone in her body”.  But she was very interested in her fathers line of work and after a few “comprises” with Emiliah’s mother, she was allowed to train with her father.

Signature Weapon: Net and spear.

Things they look for in a partner: Someone hardworking and caring, like her father.  They do not have to be a hunter in order to strike her fancy, but they do have to have passion and fire with what ever they are doing.

Wandering Witches 
Name: Taran Fisherson

Appearance: 

He is leaner then he appears, the majority of his bulk coming from the layers of clothing that he wears to avoid having to carrying them. 
Age: Between 17-19, it is a little unclear.  He has the sneaking  suspicion that he might not be aging properly. 

Personality:  Always on guard.  Ever since he could remember, he was always trying to hide who he might. Always careful to never reveal too much about himself or his mission, or his powers. Which, essentially makes him come across as awkward. This also leads him susceptible to overpower personalities and is easily convinced.   Because of his on guard personality with humans, he tends to get along with animals quite well. 

History:
He has never really felt wanted.  When he was young, perhaps two or three, his adoptive parents found him wandering around in the woods.  Having no sons of their own, they chose to keep him and raise him along their three daughters. 

It was clear from a young age that he was…peculiar.  They were never quite able to catch him doing anything. It was more like strange fires starting or they would find him playing with objects he had no chance of reaching.  It really only got worse at he got older. 

He knew his adoptive parents loved him, but they also feared him, although they never said it. In fact, they’d be the first to deny  that anything was wrong.   It was more of an unspoken rule that he was supposed to suppress…whatever this was. 

Which is what lead him on his travels. The older he got, the harder and harder suppression was. Soon, even his parents couldn't deny that he was dangerous to have in the  around his sisters. Instead of making them ask him to leave, he snuck out one night.  He didn’t plan on taking anything when he left, but he met his father he wordless ran into him in the hallway. His father handed him money, food and a spare set of clothing before drawing him into a hug. Leaving him with a “I hope you can come back someday”. 

So, here he was. He’d been traveling to all the ‘hot spots’ of the world, hoping to ride himself of his…oddness. 

Special Power:  He has never tried to train his power, only suppress it, leaving him with very few magical skills. He does tend to have an affinity for starting fires. 

Things they look for in a partner: He has never thought to much into it.  It has always been too much of a impossibility.

Angharad Seher 

Appearance:

Age: 27

Personality: 
Angharad also always been  free about life.  She always chooses to do as she pleases, when she pleases, if only to stick it to fate a little bit more.  However, when she is going after something, a rare creature to combine, a love interest, an object, she is always very intense about it  and is rarely derailed until she has reached her goal.  However, once she’s had her fun, she is more than willing to jump to the next thing (and, this is also the reason for people reporting strange and unusual animals in her wake) 

History: 
Angharad is the last, and thus the leader of the Seher Clan. A once large and powerful clan of Seer specialized witches.   Known far and wide for their love of making the future a little fuzzier than it had to be for prospective heroes. They were one of the only clans to activity work with hunters as most hunters just saw them as a group with the gift of ‘helpful God-sight’. 

The price of future sight comes with a cost.  While the training takes years and years, the gift comes to a seer in a single night. The price of that being forced to look into the future and see the day that they would die. Knowing that nothing they did would ever change that fate.   It was sad when a witch would see a short life in front of her, but it was the way of the clan. 

Grethu Seher,  Angharad’s great, great, great grandmother,  lead the clan for nearly 300 years, before  transferring leadership  to her youngest granddaughter during a time of great suffering in the clan.  While the clan stood strong for nearly 500 years, over the last fifty years, every new seer saw her death occurring at a young age, some only days from their initiation.  Most of them were suicides, brought on by knowing they had only a short life in front of them.  Angharad, being the only one whose fate was unknown, was the only choice to lead so that her Grandmother could focus on trying to fix the seer’s curse. 

Angharad had grown up knowing that she’d never take the gift, even if fate was set in stone, she’d rather take it as a surprise then face it head on.  Although she did go through the training, her passion lay in creating of something new. Her wonderful, horrific animal hybrids, forced together by darkest magic. 

Although knowing that her Great Grandmother had always known that  she was going to die at the hand of  Flint Digard, she refuses to let him go unpunished and her current ‘obsession’ is ending him and his family. 

Special Power: 
A chimera creator: The art of taking two creatures, who were never meant to be together, and creating a new breed of animal out of it. Usually, created by putting two animals together, thus, giving the animal a conscious per head. If an animals has only one, then the creator chooses what lives and what dies.  Chimera's can also exist if two chimera's breed, thus eliminating the problem of conscious, as only one soul will inhabit it. 

Basically a F-you to fate.

Charlotte “Lotte” Smart

Appearance: 

Age: 9 ½ 

Personality: A friendly and trusting girl. Constantly searching for something to make life better. She tends to get very single minded on a topic that interests her. It isn't always the most important thing to focus on, but...the heart wants what the heart wants.  Even if that is to categorize all of the life found in a tiny pond. Or investing in a demonic relationship.  

History: Charlotte was born to Earl Smart and   Sera  “Vondela” Smart. The middle child of a set of triplets, Charlotte was always the most out spoken of the three.  Thus , from an early age, always triggered the wrath of her father.  Despite that, she was always very happy and friendly to all she met. And perhaps…a little too trusting of strangers.

She was also always a little odd. She found strange friends in the shadows. They always came to find her, but they never stayed long because they didn't like to be near her father.  And her father didn't like to find her talking to the shadows. 

After a particularly bad night with her father, her mother decided it was time to rid her middle daughter of her affliction and she sent her to the church to get her help. She also sent along her other sisters, to provide labor to pay the debt of the treatment.  After a month of being there, a letter arrived informing the girls that their mother had passed away.  The note gave no mention of retrieving the children, so they stayed at the church. Life getting much harder for  Charlotte know that no one cared about her. 

Then someone made her shadow friend real and he offered her a wonderful  deal.  Play a little game with some horrible men and he'd bring her mother back.  The game worked well. She made it look like they killed her sister (Charon assured her it was just a wonderful bit of trickery) and she'd have her mother back. 

Turns out Charon was unwilling to hold up his end of the deal  and Lotte wasn't strong enough to make him.  He was not unkind, however, and offered her the chance to have a new and better mommy. One all her own that she wouldn't have to share with her sisters.   Her sisters would be fine, of course, Charon promised to leave them in a place where they'd be loved.

Special Power: Dragon's Tongue:  Blood bides its time,  and that is as true for the Von'Struasses as for any line.  Just when the bloodline seemed doomed the Dragon's Tongue stirred in little Charlotte's mouth.  Charlotte is an inheritor to the language of demon's and the power to bind them with her will alone,  a dangerous power for a girl so young.  She may become one of the mightiest witches to have ever lived, if youthful ambition doesn't see her languishing in the pit first.

Pets/Familiars: Always has some small animal she has picked up in her pocket. Mice, snakes, frogs, toads, lizards etc....
