Shock was pretty much delighted by how much the team enjoyed her food. It was great to have a second use for her teammates -- guinea pigs for her culinary school. She was pretty sure she perfected her sauce and finally took a seat next to the Hood (who looked kind of worn out by the way). She first picked up her bread, (Rolls were one of her favorites!) munching on it as she turned to look at one winged member. "I wonder why she talks like that? It's kind of creepy..."She said to no one in particular with her face somewhat confused. She shrugged it off though. Maybe she was a robot like Red Tornado. Of course, there was a way to figure it out for sure. She could go give her a nice little love zap and see if her electricity fried any circuits...but curiosity killed the cat. She could accidentally turn a teammate into a hell bent psycho keen on destroying their lives (like in one of Virgil's video games! Ha.) or have to deal with one pretty pissed off non-robot teammate for the rest of her stay here. The pros didn't outweigh the cons so she sighed, turning her body back towards her plate and proceeding to eat some of the chicken.
She wondered how her abilities would stack up to the rest of theirs on the field. Would she be a burden she could sometimes be with her brother? Or a teammate that everyone eagerly awaited. She'd just have to worry about all that later she supposed. For now she settled on listening to how her teammates interacted. It wasn't that she was shy or reserved. She would just speak when someone wanted to speak with her instead of forcing her conversation down someones throat. It was a time to take in their personalities too. She hadn't seen everyone yet but she had made judgements about some. Scourge seemed like someone Shock probably wouldn't readily get along with after his reprimand and jokey demeanor about her food tasting good (Of course it tastes good...i made it, her face took on a somewhat sour expression). Judging by how quickly Angel got along with him too it was probably a given that the pair of them would be at odds (ignoring how condescending her personality already came off with the way she spoke and worded things). The Ditto guy seemed adorable though, pretty cool how quickly he liked her food, Photon too. The hood and Kid Rogue she still wasn't sure about but all these were just first impressions...She could be greatly mistaken.
After she finished her plate, she cleared the chicken bones and placed everything in the dishwasher before leaving the headquarters to sit up in a tree. There weren't many wooded areas in Dakota City which is something she yearned for. She felt pretty free in the forest which is ironic given her power-set. She took out her pole, extended it, and flew up towards a branch before hopping onto it and setting her back against it as she calmly closed her eyes and let her thoughts wander.

Silk did take a silently sweet delight in other spider-men agreeing with her deciding to be hasty. However, when Neo and Ninja interrupted with plans of introductions she couldn't help but cross her arms and look away. Why bother with that when it was a given that not all of them would survive with how extreme the situation was. She licked her lips and felt her heart begin race in excitement. Although it didn't last long with a nice plop into the fountain, she noticed a whimsical spiderman play off falling into the fountain... typical.
With a smirk, she tuned back into the conversation. No crowd control for her if she was to be ported directly into the sewers. This made her happy that they already knew she wasn't much for crowd control and wanted a piece of the main action. She pulled her mask on and as she was ported, flipped her hand up and waved her fingers, slyly towards one silly spider-man in particular.
Here in the murky, and grunge-filled sewers, already Neo and the hairless ninja spiderman decide to bark orders. Dividing and conquering, finally something spoken she could agree with. Heading two by two? "No thanks." Silk said with her arms crossed. Indeed, she already had plans to ditch them the moment she got there and although the pairs were probably randomized, she couldn't help but take an added insult being told to go two by two with Neo, the one who had objected to her haste earlier. As she began to slip away, she heard Murdock say wait. Something about his voice commanded an authority she would obey this time.
"No need to split up. He's that way. We can catch him first if we hurry."
Silk darted off towards the way he pointed. Maybe that would give them incentive to stop standing around and do something. If not, it wasn't like she wouldn't attempt to handle this alone. Again the adrenaline pumped through her veins and a rush that she hadn't felt since she began to develop her powers came through. Each slap against the hard water left an echo that bounded off in each direction. If she could concentrate, she'd be able to make each stride a little less booming but with the footsteps trailing behind, she could see it was unnecessary. The sewers became more dimly lit with a fork of six trails this time. Coming to a slower pace, She listened closely, ignoring the footsteps behind her and now she too, could hear a faint voice from the left most. Without so much as a word she went in the direction, as if calling her, daring her to bare witness to the scene.

its not asking for a bunch of prison mates help so much as a prisonmate asserting dominance as the most bad ass early on. But it's fine, sapphire is scrappy. Lol. I can't post till tomorrow but we definitely have to get some sort of a team going somehow! Everything will work out though. Sapphire is good at using people �
