Alright, that works, and do you mean the phoenix? like Jean Grey?

EDIT: Also, accepted on the condition Luthor's armor is just reinforced steel and not full-blown adamantium and Manchester is only able to use his full powers during emotional trauma.

And ever sense he was a child, he would have nightmares of a white phoenix, but when he had them they didnt seem like nightmares

I like these, I think they are interesting characters. My only criticisms are that Luthor's armor shouldn't be adamantium, maybe adamantium reinforced steel since a full suit of adamantium would be expensive, even for Luthor, and almost impossible to get enough to build the whole suit. I do like the idea of it being powered by kryptonite though. My main issue was that even though I don't want to kill off characters they still need to be killable so that they aren't unstopable.

Manchester's telekinesis should be powerful, but can't reach its full power unless a certain condition is met, maybe extreme emotional trauma is its trigger.
Yeah, I think it turned out well.
Based on what I read She's killable even though she doesn't need to breathe eat or sleep because her healing factor is 3x and not instant and you did limit her powers a bit, cosmic energy will be tough to come by. So, Accepted.
It is 2004 and villains are on the move. Lex Luthor and Dr. Doom have teamed up to prototype a temporal resonance bomb that could potentially rewrite history and wipe their enemies from history, giving them the freedom to control the world without any pesky heroes getting in their way. They have been successful in keeping this project a secret from their enemies, taking elaborate measures to keep the existence of the bomb quiet.

Fast forward ten years and Lex and Doom have completed the bomb but there is an issue. In order to work as designed the bomb needs two things. It needs time to charge and lock onto the targets' temporal signatures in order to perform to its specifications, and it needs the targets to be somewhere nearby. Luthor has a plan to get around these limitations. He is going to plant the bomb in Times Square Manhattan and tell the heroes. In order for this plan to work they will need the heroes to stay in range without being able to defuse or destroy the bomb. To do this Lex and Doom recruit every villain they can name to help keep the heroes back and draw the heroes in.

The bomb has been planted, the villains are in attendance and the heroes, all of the heroes, are converging on Manhattan.

The battle is long, violent, hectic. The sheer number of heroes and villains in Manhattan is enough to level the city if the battle gets out of hand. As the battle continues and the bomb gets closer to completing its task a small group of heroes break through the defense and make it to the bomb. It isn't yet ready and Lex wants to fire, Doom protests saying that without having the proper amount of time to charge the effects will be unpredictable. Lex doesn't care and in his panic fires the bomb. Waves are sent out through time and space and the universe is flipped on its head. Doom was right, the effects of the uncharged bomb was unpredictable, it altered the histories of every person within range, erasing the communities or organizations they founded and altering their personal histories. Some people vanished from history, some were born in completely different centuries, some are forced together into an amalgam of two people and others are born or raised under different circumstances (sometimes in multiple places at once leading to multiples of the same person walking around), changing their view of the world and motivations for what they do, turning some heroes into villains. The worst part of it is, nobody remembers why it happened, but they are all haunted by the feeling that something isn't right.
Rules

  1. No godmodding, pretty simple, your character can't be totally indestructible or infallible. Even if we don't plan on killing any characters (which we might do once the story progresses, with your permission of course) they still need to be killable

  2. No metagaming or any of that omnipotence nonsense. Your character doesn't know everything you do

  3. No controlling another person's character without permission (duh)

  4. Keep romance pg-13 anything higher can be done in PMs

  5. Limit of two characters per person

You are not who you used to be, you can feel that something is wrong in universe but you can't put your finger on it, everything around you seems normal, everything is the way you remember it, you must be paranoid or something. Just to be sure maybe you should go over everything you remember about yourself and make sure everything is okay.

Thanks to GreenGrenade for the title. Mine was way worse. Any suggestions for alterations to the history or CS will be considered.
Alright, I added an appearance line to the CS, pictures or descriptions are fine, I prefer writing mine because I can be as descriptive as I want and make the character exactly how I want them instead of just close enough.

EDIT: I'm also adding a costume appearance for anyone that will have one.
Oh, yeah, I'll add that to the template, it was kind of a work in progress when I posted it, I was planning on putting the updated version in the OOC but I'll put it here too.
Yeah, go ahead and PM me with it, I'll have the OOC up soon and you can post the finished one there. Its just taking me a little while because I'm running back and forth between my computer and cleaning up after last night among other things I have to do today.

Azena said Unfortunately, GG took my favorite character -.- so I'll have to think of someone else to use, but I'm definitely down to join this.

GG is right, you can still use a base character someone else has used if you had your heart set on that character, the whole universe was turned upside down, there's bound to be a few hiccups like more than one of the same person walking around.

How about for a title, "Injustice: Clash Between Worlds". I don't know, that may be a bit too cheesy.

It's better than Earth-*random number* I'm not sure hown many people would have gotten it, most would probably just skip right past it, yours will probably draw more attention.

Just finished Young Justice and been plowing through the Justice League shows so I'm craving a good superhero game and this has a twist that I like. Unfortunately, GG took my favorite character -.- so I'll have to think of someone else to use, but I'm definitely down to join this. However, I'm not a fan of Free games, so I'd have to wait to see what section you put this in.

I'm probably going to put it in the free section,
mostly because I prefer free roleplays to casual ones myself, but if others would prefer casual I can put it there instead.

I'm interested. Would you be opposed to Aegis and Tenebrous inhabiting the dead body of Petra and none having any memory of their identities and thus forming a new one?

That sounds like it would be very interesting. I don't like how powerful they could potentially become, so if you limit their power somehow, for example, maybe they can't use their full powers while inhabiting Petra and they don't yet know how to leave so they are stuck being far weaker than they normally would be.

Is hitman Daredevil ok? Just like a Daredevil only hitman Daredevil is a villain

I think hitman Daredevil sounds pretty awesome. You can change your chosen character(s) in any way you want as long as their powers stay the same and their personality isn't altered too much, feel free to twist things in any way you like though, for example if your character is a kind person, make them kind only to the people they think are important or the people that they like.

This is for everyone doing amalgam characters:
If your two combined characters have more powers than are sensible then tone it down a bit. Your character shouldn't be too strong. If you want to do an amalgam let's maybe try and limit powers (I won't be strict on this, it's just a guideline and if you keep it within certain boundaries it'll be fine) to one offensive ie: cyclops' laser vision or Wolverine's claws one defensive power ie: Wolverine's healing factor and one miscellaneous power like Wolverine's adamantium skeleton, even though it's not a power it's a modification we'll count it as a power

Also, try to limit the number of characters you're combining to two, no more unless it has a reason that will serve some kind of sub-plot.
