"Probably not. We're already delayed as is," comes Leila's voice from the hallway. She turns the corner holding one large pack and a few smaller ones. "Oh. Another one."
"Nice fedora."
Adam's eyes dim, and he laughs with Jacob. "That'd be my and Ihy's doing. Anybody else want a pick-me-up?"
Adam smirks at Charlie and his eyes burn teal. "Are you sure I can't convince you otherwise? " As he speaks, Charlie feels his heart swell in joy.
Adam sits down and gestures for the other two to continue. "Amuse me," he jokes.
He laughs. "Oh, well that changes everything!"
Adam flushes again. "Oh, I don't like to dance. You guys have fun, though!"
He laughs. "So I'm gathering."
Adam's eyebrows shoot up and he flushes, diverting his gaze.
