Adam pulls away from her. "Not that that wasn't delightful, but not yet. I'm not going to be another one of those other guys," he says, pulling away but not releasing her hand. "I'm doing this right."
He brings their intertwined hands up and gently kisses her wrist, maintaining eye contact. "No more of these, please," he says, gently leading her out the door.
"Sure," he says, sitting up and stretching, revealing a small strip of his tan waist as he does. "Got any place in mind?" Go to the roller rink again. I don't think they have one here. Darn.
He pecks the top of her head. "Not yet, Arty. Soon, but not yet," he says, wrapping an arm around her. "We're going slow. I'm not going to be another one of those guys."
