Are you still taking applications? I'm calling reservations for Hansel & Gretel
A simple story concept I came up with after listening to a Trailer Music/Soundtrack with the same title last night.
Background

There was once a kingdom, its name lost in time, renowned for its vast richness - with lands were so filled with jewels and precious metals, that even gold and silver were considered no more precious than rocks. But an apocalyptic eruption of a volcano destroyed the kingdom, burying the entire continent in ash and dust.

Eons passed, the deserted lands, now referred to as "Sand", have become a home for hideous monsters, and the only legacy left by this lost kingdom is a promise of treasure...

Classes

Some categories of playable characters that inhabit the universe:

Treasure Hunters
People who come to the continent for a single purpose: treasure. They are equipped with heavy artilleries meant to destroy boulders, and arrive with beasts of their own, called the Scavengers, to help them hunt and collect valuables.

Scholars
A curious bunch who arrive in Sands intending to uncover the mysteries left by the lost kingdom. They study about the continent's history, terrains and environment, and possess the most modern technology to help their research.

Guardians
A group of people descended from the surviving inhabitants of the lost kingdom, and are said to have superhuman abilities. Wishing to see their ancestors' homeland return to its former glory, they will stop people from defiling their territory at all cost.

Monsters
Mutated life forms who have gained strength and intelligence after adapting to the post-apocalyptic conditions of Sands. They dislike having foreign creatures traipsing in needlessly into their territories, and will crush those who do.
That's all I can think of for now, but I suppose this can be expanded upon later when there are more interest.
I am not sure if this has been asked before, but is there a way to set the number of posts to be viewed in one page, so that we don't have to go through too many number of pages to read a particularly active thread?
This sounds great. I truly enjoy RPs where the players can be in different factions and battle against each other.

But do you mind explaining more about the Faerie/Changeling pair? How are they actually involved in the story? And what are the role of humans in this universe and why are they relevant? Thanks.
Count me interested.

I want to ask though, if this is like the Fellowship of the Ring, will there be a limit for the number of characters allowed in the RP? And perhaps you can give a little more background about the Dreadlord. Like, does he have his own kingdom/army, or is he a renegade villain moving from place to place?
So far, the concept seems interesting.

But while the background seems quite solid, it does not really explain how this would set-up the actual RP - e.g. what will be the purpose of the RP characters? What sort of conditions do they exist in? How does it relate to the timeline of the universe? etc.
