Steadman groaned. "Just a minute!" He yelled as he undid his hair and cleaned up a bit. The banging continued. "I said, just a minute!" He uses his leopard skin bandana to mop up a spillage, grabbed his medicine bottle, then opened the door. "And to what do I owe the non-pleasure? Medicine, sea-sickness bucket, amputation? No? Nothing? Well don't bother me!" He slammed the door in Rie's face, and sat down on a hammock staring out at the ocean. He frowned and though about Jack, his old boss. He wondered how he was doing. He spend his youth traveling with him, being on the lucky clover would take some getting used to.

Steadman was completely engaged in his experimenting. His long hair was tied up with some cloth and out of his face so he could see everying he needed to without his hair getting in the way. "Aha! So if I added that, it could be artificial sunlight. So what happens if I..." Moments later a large banging sound could be heard all around the ship. Steadman's tanned face was covered in smoke. "Oh, that was not smart. Not smart at all. Idiot Tyde!" He slapped himself on the forehead, and bottled his new (non exploding) concoction.
