Bernard ruffled Lydia's hair "well that was very sweet of him! He must love you" He looked away "my mom and dad never really wanted me." A tear appeared in his eye
Bernard frowned "are you so sure coz' he's more of demon and you are more of a vampire so it's it an adoptive relationship?" He leaned over Lydia and examined larkins burns from the electricity.

Bernard grined from ear to ear "that's the sprit Lydia!" He sat down "so who's this Larkin dude?"
Bernard frowned at the girl he said to her "don't worry kid. We can only go up from here he's not dead trust me." He put his fingers on Larkin's wrist "I can still feel a pulse see! He's just been given the," he rolled his eyes and made himself look like a zombie "sedative!" He looked normal again and smiled warmly.
Bernard leant to look at the other girl "hey I'm Bernard the cyclops." He Patted the younger girl on the shoulder "so who's Larkin is he that other guy in the lab?"
