1. It has been at least 3 years since guildfall. It does not feel that long. 2. Just need to confirm stuff and I can move. 3. My sister is officially a model. Plus, she has an interview today.

Five Open Legend games, soon to be six. Three D&D games, soon to be two. A Numenera game that's been going since before Numenera went public. Probably enough for now. -nodnod-

For clarity, since it wasn't already addressed, a lot of people running the games don't like it if you reuse a character. I haven't figured out why, if the character fits the story. Just saying it. But feel free to start your own RP if you want to use your character~ (Some people are fine with it. Not saying you can't. Just saying that having a new character in each RP is generally recommended, though a "core character" that gets modified to fit each is totally fine, usually. If you look at my characters, I have a few of those. ^~^)

Also, welcome! I hope you enjoy your time here.

Time for a unique Buzzing entry for you~

To Henzukaya: NONE of my 1x1s here have been "porno." And the people I've done them with have had legit reasons to leave (and weren't active elsewhere on the site to draw suspicion). But you also pretty much said the same thing that happens on EVERY RP site; people like the naughty stuff. But that's hardly relevant to the topic, even though you're not the first to bring it up.

To Aeonumbra: I love your phone~

To ASTA: The "lack of basic features" I think is ideal for a site based on roleplaying. You don't need flashy colors, struck out words, etc., ever, really. Just write a quality post. Sort of like reading a book: if the writer is good, you won't need colors to separate who's talking or an inset picture. I can't address the white screen people are talking about, since it hasn't affected me, so I won't comment on that. But I agree with the "there's no shame..." part entirely. We really could use someone who knows what they're doing and has more time than Mahz helping him out. And donations would also help. But I'm not going to go on about that, since I said it earlier already. ^//^

To Cartwright: Basically the same thing I tried to say...poorly. My point may not even have come across at all. ^~^

To Missy: OP has. And those who did so were wrong to do so. But they also had some valid points, iirc. OP wasn't all too nice back to them to be a better person, but I don't blame...him/her. But people tend to be assholes everywhere because...wait...no...that's a different debate entirely. Too political (nothing to do with parties or anything, since that's what people usually think I mean when I say that. ^//^). Will stay away from that.

And finally, to Touch of Insanity: would you like some cwtches? I like to cwtch. Also, not sarcasm or judgment here. It can come across that way.
I still owe someone a Buzzing entry. ^//^ But that's a pretty typical welcome from me. And each entry is unique. You can check if you want.

Or EVEN MORE than both? I've been a member of all three of the sites I said up there pretty much the same amount of time. I actually was meaning to say that doesn't mean it's dying because people are on both.
You didn't leave anything for me to respond to. You'll have to accept punishment hugs. Welcome!

Okay, it's been a while, I might be a bit rusty with my Buzzing entry for you.

I was just here. Saw it, got curious.

For clarity, I am also a member of Iwaku. I never "migrated to Iwaku" as ThatOneGuy put it. I was actually invited there by someone I RP with from a different site I ALSO RP on (Infrno; I'm a tabletop RPer). I'm still here, and I've been around...for quite a while. Depending who you ask, 2007 or 2009-10, and Iwaku 2011ish (and 2009-10ish for Infrno, not that it matters to this conversation). Awkwardness there.

Sure, I don't have any RPs going here, and I am in 4 (almost 6, 5 of which are 1x1s) on Iwaku, but that doesn't mean I'm not still loyal here. I'm just really active in their chat room and people like me there. Somewhat. At least some of them like me enough to be like "hey, you want to RP with me?" But you know what? About 90% of my Skype contacts are people I met here, on RpG. I RP with them nearly constantly over Skype (Have ongoing Numenera games with two of them). So while in your opinion, RpG is dying, it's not. AND EVEN IF Mahz decided to let it die (which I don't see happening; as Drakel said (in a weird, drawn-out way), this is his baby, though I'm pretty sure that wasn't the point being made), it wouldn't make any difference: people like me would still be RPing with THE SAME PEOPLE we RPed with here. Sure, Mahz should let people donate. But with no incentive to do so, people tend not to donate to things. Nor SHOULD there be incentive to donate. Also, some of us who WANT to donate, can't. Not that it has anything to do with my point: Mahz should set up an account or something (if he hasn't already) for that.

Okay, more coherent version of the same post: People who want to stay, stay. Even those who are inactive on the site can be active with the same people elsewhere and still maintain the community. And instead of complaining about how bad it is here, how about you support it a bit? Boobs'll sag without a bra. BE THE BRA. LET RpG BE YOUR BOOBS.

Also, I LIKE QQcode. I don't see the need for a ton of formatting and whatnot. You're RPing, not making a text-discotheque. Content is more important than appearance when it comes to text. RpG is not a coloring book, it is a REGULAR book. It's like Game of Thrones. Srsly. Also, some colors are quite garish.
Lauren Smith
Has no current nickname earned by peers
Traded as Mary, no surname
Born Lawrence Washburn

Sold as a "slave of lust" when she was eight by a man named Edward Coates. The man saw potential in her when he passed her on the street one day, seeing her unusual eyes; one the color of moss, another of the earth. Her unusually feminine features made her easy to disguise as a young girl for a much larger profit. The seller had little to do with the actual dressing of Lauren, and only saw her once afterward; just as she was being sold. Lauren continued to dress as a girl since then so she wouldn't be found as easily by Edward once the buyer refused to pay (or at least that's what she says if anyone finds out she's physically a boy and she doesn't think they'll accept that she really is a girl anyway).

Lawrence, as she was known at the time, had become very ill when she was younger, which actually changed a lot about her. Her metabolism became much faster, her body mass decreased, and facial features lost some masculinity (though this shows more now than it did on an already ambiguously-gendered five year old). She has started to take hormones, as well, so this is even more pronounced.

One day, Lauren wishes to see her birth family again. For now, however, she is willing to ignore them and get her revenge on those who kidnapped and sold her.

Lauren has a strong dislike of anyone who is average. She quickly loses interest in people if they're "boring" (what's boring changes a little bit over time, but not by much) and breaks off any type of relationship with them.

Having no way of getting home, no form of identification, and no money, Lauren spent some time living in the streets of the city she was sold into. She had some assistance, and even stayed with an artist for a while (until they were evicted). Being young, it wasn't too hard for her to get food or money from people who felt sorry for her, especially when she told her story to them (leaving out that she was physically a boy, which worked, as her voice changed almost unnoticeably at puberty). Combined with an adorable Ukrainian accent, she could get almost anything from anyone who cared at all. Wanting to be self-sufficient, she almost always refused to live with anyone.

She was adopted about two years ago by a couple too young to have a girl her age naturally. They went out of their way to get her good private tutoring to get her where she should be intellectually at her age, and also went through the necessary steps to get her on her way into becoming the girl she wanted to be in the first place. She was a quick learner, and they decided to send her into an actual school this year. Had she not started out looking somewhat feminine already, she would probably still look like a boy. As she is, though, it's difficult to tell she's not physically a girl.

Lauren believes that fate is nothing but a fancy word for "unexplained cause and effect relationships", believing that everything happens as a result of something else. The belief to her seems far more structured than "Everything happens for a reason", "God works in mysterious ways", or any other similar statement. She does follow a system of beliefs that revolves around this philosophy and manipulating probability in her favor. Her recently-developed powers she believes are a "divine" gift, allowing her to be the puppeteer of the Great Chaos and the one and only priestess of a forgotten deity. That isn't to say she's egotistical, just that she believes even the smallest action can snowball into a world war, and if that is to happen, she wants to be the one to start it.

Powers
Incognito - Lauren has a habit of disappearing in crowds...even when there's no crowd to disappear in. She misdirects everyone else's senses around her unless she wants to be noticed. The effect is somewhat like seeing something in the corner of your eye, but when you look, it's not there. Once someone knows how her power works, it doesn't affect them anymore. Even those that can perceive her while incognito find it incredibly difficult to focus on her for any length of time and if they stop paying attention, can forget she's still there. She developed this power soon after she started hormone therapy, so she can't always control it yet, though thankfully it only turns on when she doesn't want it on and not off when does.

Food of any kind, dancing, gaming, any mix of the above
Dislikes
Excessively fancy clothes, slavery, alcohol, men with unusual hair, vanilla (the flavor, the scent, and people who match it)

Important Stuff (sans clothing)
one-size-fits-all touchscreen-friendly gloves; a small roll of cash in an equally small velvet bag; a phone; a small bottle of mace
This is a legit roleplay board, yes. as I'm sure you've figured out. But if you want to use it to advertise a Skype RP or something like that (which works nicely for tabletop RPGs (imo better than roll20)), you could. I don't RP much here anymore, actually. ^//^

Welcome, though! I don't have time to write a Buzzing entry for you here, like I usually do for new members or I would. Sorry. :/
And there is only one thing we say to Death: "Not today." Which is also what I say about my usual Buzzing entries for intros. Welcome, I suppose.
