Merrily Auron browse the bustling local market.
-"I hope James is going to be my friend. Maybe we didn't have the greatest start, but we can change that I'm sure!" The pale wizard encourages himself as he studies the many different stalls and what they have to offer. Yet, nothing hold up to the standard Auron sets. No flower is pretty enough to match her beauty and no candy looks delicious enough for a lady's refined taste. Not finding anything worthy Auron try to push and shove his way out of the dense throng of city folk. Bumping into almost anyone he could find and gathering many angry looks he eventually made his way out, laughing to himself. "This city life is not for me, hopefully I get used to it!"

Auron looked elsewhere in his quest for a gift and wandered up the central avenue that cuts through the centre of the city. Planted along the broad street are tall and strong elm trees, stretching their large crowns of green and white to provide some shadow against the midday heat. Auron can't remember him being this joyful at any earlier point of his, although short, life. The burden of my family name has finally been lifted of my heart. All the freedom in the world, I can do whatever I want! Just as he finish that thought a gleam catches Auron's attention. Squinting Auron look through a modest store front. On display are exclusive jewellery of many kinds; shimmering pearls are strung together into necklaces or bracelets, polished gems twinkle radiantly on top of rings of gold and metals of different colours have been forged into to different artsy shapes by a skilled goldsmith. Auron couldn't imagine himself affording even a fourth of any of the glamorous trinkets, but perhaps someone in there had some tasteful advice that could help him.

Auron stepped inside the, to his surprise, rather cramped store, sounding a tiny bell as he opened the door.
-"I'm coming, I'm coming!" The black haired boy could hear the voice of an excited woman from some other room. The walls inside the store are laden with all kinds of jewellery, turning the small store into some kind of reflective light show of glimmer and gold. From a room behind the counter appears a rotund lady wearing too much make up. The floor creeks as she moves and jewellery on the wall rattles loudly just as the excessive tat she's wearing. The boy may not be a good judge of what is hot or not, but even he could see that her novelties are clearly a lot more tacky than what is sold inside this store. "Good day young man! My name is Ulla and this is my jewellery shop for the connoisseur and the fashionable wizard, Ulla's Magical Jewellery! What are you looking for today?"

-"Well, I'm looking for a gift to give to, erhm, a girl. I thought maybe you had some advice on the matter?" Auron could feel himself blushing slightly as a wide smile spread across the saleswoman's face.
-"Oh aren't you just the sweetest boy!" She leaned forward and pinched Auron's cheek uncomfortably hard while laughing heartily. "Of course I'll help you dear! You kind of look like a Lauzurus child, am I right?" Auron nodded in response as he stroke his stinging cheek. "Is she a classmate? What do she look like?"
-"Yes she is, she got beautiful hair, raven black. Her skin is quite pale and she got dark eyes."
-"You're not talking about yourself are you? Ho! Just kidding dear! I got some great ideas, let me show you some of my wares." Auron followed the woman to one of the walls. Shakily she stood on her toes and picked down a necklace. "Now this is a real beauty! Twined ebony stalks works as the chain, very good against pesky synthetic users. Then we have three silver balls, elegantly designed as you can see, two smaller ones holding beautifully purple zircons and a larger one holding this exquisite black opal, just look at the colours shift!"
-"Though that necklace looks lovely I'm sorry to say I am limited to a tight budget." Auron didn't even want to hear what kind of price that particular necklace had.
-"Oh, I see. That's no problem dear, we got jewellery in all price ranges. What about this one?" Walking over to the right hand wall she picked down an earring. "It's a dangle styled earring in gracefully forged silver. As you may now silver has some good properties for a wizard and this one should be easy to enchant." It looked like an S that had both it's ends spiral into two round balls. That doesn't look too bad...
-"What would such an earring cost?" Auron asked nervously.
-"I'd usually sell the pair for ten silver, but since you're so cute I'll knock it down to nine for the pair!"
-"Oh... I'm not sure... It's still quite a lot of money..."
-"You can't put a price on love dear! You won't get this deal anywhere else!"
-"Perhaps if I only buy one..."
-"This is a perfect gift for someone studying at Lauzurus!"
-"Fine, fine! I'll take one of them..." Auron gives in to the saleswoman's skilled persuasion.
-"A great choice, I assure you that! That'll be four sivers and fifty coppers." Reluctantly Auron handed over the money, already feeling some regret. "Thank you very much dear! Let me wrap this up for you."

Leaving his luggage behind, Bob decides that this is a great opportunity to do some exploring around his new home, leaving the two builders alone to do their work. In comparison to the school building the campus is enormous. This place would take days to explore with all the possible nooks and crannies! It's hard to imagine that this many people are attending this school simultaneously. The village is bustling with life as Bob strolls casually with his hands in his pockets. Wizards are outside, talking to their wizard pals, smiling and laughing. Music in major key can be heard playing in the distance and if you listen really carefully you could hear the occasional muffled blast or whistle often followed by a screech. Bob took notice of the general wizard's attire being independent from one and other. Everyone had their own style, pattern, colour and design. Some artistic freedom? I like it! Even some of the cottages were slightly different from one and other, some having gardens, others being painted in different colours or having an extension built onto them. They still shared the same basic design though, making Bob assume that any difference between them was made by their residents. I can't wait to make my home my own, all the possibilities!

Inspired the artistic lad find himself in front of the dull school building again. It doesn't make much of an impression. Perhaps I get permission to paint it one day? After all, I'll probably live here quite a while. Bob figured the school was most likely closed for the day and opted instead to take a look around the outside of the building. It didn't take long before something caught his undivided attention, the colours pink and white gleamed strongly in his eyes against the otherwise green and brown backdrop. Without hesitation he rushed toward the treasure of nature and inspected it thoroughly.
-"These whimsical, almost fairy-like blossoms looks like hearts, bleeding hearts..?" Shaped like hearts were the flowers that grew on a small patch of moss. The deep pink petals and white stems made them look like the stuff in tales you could hear in a tavern. Perhaps these flowers have some magical properties? I should bring one and check it with that spell I learned in my books. "Thank you!" Bob picked up one of the flowers carefully, making sure to keep the root as intact as possible. He also extracted some seeds from one of the other flowers while he was at it. With a wide smile on his face he put the flower and seeds in his pocket and began to make his way back home again.
-"Let's make this house a home!"

Auron was half dozing in the wagon back to school. He had found his gift and had a cordial lunch with James. The blonde boy had insisted that he would treat Auron to lunch, which of course was very welcome on his side since he was all out money. They had shared a big bowl of the busy taverns's steaming meat stew. During their meal James had made a noticeable effort to take a more friendly approach to is roommate, telling him about his upbringing in a small town close to Henrybourgh, Swedium's second largest city according to Auron's geographical knowledge. James' parents are apparently quite big in his religious community so it was only natural for James walk in their footsteps, not that he ever had a choice, though he insisted on taking up religion was a pleasure regardless. His parents had pounded virtuous values into his young head during homeschooling while he was indoctrinated into the local parish. For a moment did James story about him growing up sound very similar to Auron's, but one could argue that having respected parents and being allowed outside made the story different anyway. They had kept conversing for a very long time in the tavern, discussing values, talking about school, their friends and classmates and magic. And Auron had enjoyed it immensely even if it was with James. For the first time in his life did he have a real conversation with someone in his own age, pure social interaction.

-"And we're here children!" The driver announced merrily. The two boys hopped off the wagon outside the school building and thanked the coachman for the ride.
-"Hey, James?" Auron said rather low.
-"Yeah?"
-"Today was great." Auron smiled at his roommate with warm heart.
-"I thought so too. I wouldn't mind if we did this again some time." James smiled back. Is he my friend now? I like to think so... "Now let's check out our house!" James ran excitedly towards campus with Auron struggling behind him. When they arrived they became completely elated upon seeing a new house standing where earlier this day there only was a ruin.
-"It's as if it never burned down in the first place." Auron said impressed by the new house's very close resemblance to their former. James tried his key on the door and it fit perfectly, though to their surprise it was already unlocked. The inside of the house is also identical to that of their old home, perhaps a shade darker. Another big difference is the chubby boy on his knees, humming while shoving some bags under one of the beds. He got brown curly hair that packed some volume and wore simple and rather dirty clothes. Auron and James had completely forgotten during the day that their new roommate would arrive today.

-"I guess you're the new roommate Jan told us about?" James ask out loud to get the tall boys attention. attention.
-"Oh, sorry! Didn't hear you coming inside. I'm Bob, nice to meet you!" Bob stood up as he chuckled and reached out his hand to shake James'.
-"Nice to meet you too Bob. I am James Brightshield and this is Auron." Auron reach out his hand as well, glad there were no negative reaction from the new kid.
-"I hope you didn't mind me taking that bed, I couldn't resist the view I get through the window. There are four beds so I assume there is on more of you, am I right?"
-"Yes, we're missing Julius. I guess he's still out practicing somewhere..."

-"Please... Find a teacher. Someone who can ... Help. I'd rather not die today... Or any other day... Please, get help." Julius tried his best to keep a level head in this situation. This whole situation was quite bizarre to say the least. Almost killed the Nord had ended up in the bed of his love interest where he got to listen to charming argumentation.
-"Oh trust me we've tried." Jenny answered utterly downcast. "We looked everywhere but we couldn't find anyone willing to help us..."
-"Well, that settles it then!" Isabella raise her voice with assertion. "Give me a hand Jenny, we're helping him back to his place."
-No! Don't!" Both Olivia and blonde girl shout at the same time as Jenny and Isabella force Julius out of bed. There was no way Julius could hold back his almost primal scream as he was yanked up by his arms.
-"Oh for crying out loud, grit your teeth or something!" Isabella complains as she forces herself under Julius' left arm and Jenny under the right. The other girls could barely look as Julius whimpered with tears streaming down his face. Is this how I die!? This pain!!! it's as if my body is collapsing on the inside!

-"Where do you live!?" Isabella asked angrily as if it was she who were in pain.
-"Eighty seven blue!" Julius screamed as he began hyperventilating.
-"I think I know where that is." Jenny said horrified by the excruciating anguish that Julius displays
-"Then let's hurry!" Isabella kicked open the door and began jogging together with Jenny out into the night. Julius roared in unfathomable pain while being half dragged through campus, most likely waking up any sleeping students. Wounds began to visibly tear open and he could feel tendons being torn apart. Keep it together Julius, you can do this! Julius was freezing like Nordern winter and his usually pale skin began turning gray, stained with his red blood.
-"We're almost there, just a little longer!" Jenny urged on, but even that was not enough to help him now. Through his dazed vision and hearing Julius could see his friends rushing outside while screaming. At that moment did Julius rib cage fall like a house of cards together with his lungs deflating like balloons.

-"What in the goddess name is happening out here!?" James shout in a most terrified voice with his roommates darting after him.
-"Mind giving us a hand blonde boy!?" Isabella shouts at him, even she quite afraid. Auron and Bob stared, completely petrified, at the scene that was unfurling. James threw himself on the ground where Julius had slumped down completely limp on his back.
-"Wha-who-what did this!?" James screamed as he began using his healing magic.
-"He got in a fight!" Olivia answered panting as she and the blonde girl caught up.
-"Olivia!? Thank the goddess you're here! Quick! Help me out here!" James began to panic.
-"It's too late James, I've already tried..." She answers as she too fall down on her knees together with the rest of the girls.
-"No... NO! NO! Stay with me Julius!" But Julius had already accepted his fate. Looking up at Jenny, Julius stroke her cheek with his cold hands and coughed up some blood with his last dying breath.

-"Is he... dead?" Auron asked lowly, as if he couldn't believe it.
-"No... No... Please don't let this be true..." James began crying as he hugged his friends corpse.
-"James..." Olivia put a hand on his shoulder.
-"NO! This is not how it ends! I refuse to let it end this way!" Jame began working his healing magic again while tears dropped all over Julius dead body. "Juliaine, purest of all, goddess of virtues and all that is good, please hear my prayer! I have always been true to you, served you and worshiped you without question! I am pious and unrelenting! I haven't asked for anything but your guidance until now so please hear my prayer! Bring my friend back! Bring Julius back! I beg you please bring him back to our world! I need him, WE need him! Please! PLEASE HEAR MY PRAYER!" James kept crying uncontrollable as he tried every healing technique he knew.
-"What is that?" Bob asked slowly and astonished. James shone up white and yellow, radiant like a thousand stars engulfed in divine power. The air was positively vibrating with power that fused with Julius' body. With a deafening blast all the energy that suddenly appeared was sent through Julius, creating a shock wave of power that almost blew the wizards away.

With a gasp Julius sat up, striking terror into the other children around him. Julius was equally horrified himself. I died! The infernal blackness! Why am I here again!? Air in my lungs!?
-"I-i-it can't be?" The blonde girl stuttered.
-"It's a miracle..." Jenny continued.
-"Did he just, come back from the dead?" Bob was equally fascinated and scared.
Is this the power of the gods? Such might, the intensity of that magic.... James, what are you? Auron thinks as he stares agape at his friend.
-"James... You're a miracle worker... JAMES IT'S A DIVINE MIRACLE!" Olivia could not contain her freight. But James didn't respond in any way. He just sat on his knees and stared into his hand open hands without blinking. Julius stared at James with wide open eyes.
-"How... how... how..." Was all that Julius said as he began rocking back and forth. "THIS PLACE IS MADNESS!"

Chapter II

There had been no sleep in cottage eighty blue, neither had it been any in one hundred seventeen red. Last night after everyone had calmed down ever so slightly did everyone agree upon getting some sleep. or at least Auron, Bob and the girls. Julius and James had not said a word since last night.
Whatever happened last night was outwordly. To think such powers exist... Bob think to himself as he sits up on the edge of his bed.
James brought someone back form the dead... How is that even possible? How!? Auron was truly worried about the magic prowess displayed last night.
I was dead. I was dead. For an eternity I was dead. Breathless dark. Unending void. No heaven, no hell, no eternal sleep, only dead, airless, darkness. Julius was completely broken.

Whatever could happen next?

Background: Lucía Claire came from a remote, rural village in northern Sudreik where she lived with her large family. They were but simple farmers and Lucía was just one of many siblings. Just like every upbringing with brothers and sisters life wasn’t always fair, but Lucía took the injustice particularly hard. Nothing made her angrier than seeing her older siblings being treated with more respect or her younger getting away with things she did not. It was during a heated argument with two of her older sisters that she first discovered that she was different from most others in her age. Blinding sparks shot everywhere from Lucía mid-sentence, scaring both her sisters and herself senseless. Terrified, Lucía fled the farm and village, afraid what her sisters would tell her parents and what they would do.

She ended up spending a night in the woods where she had a lot of time to think and consider her options. After a sleepless rest under the cold moon light she had made up her mind. What happened must be some kind of magical gift she had been given, a gift she intended to use for good, or whatever good you could do while shooting sparks. So Lucía turned her back to her home and left for good to travel the lands. She walked village to village, city to city, trying to be a Good Samaritan, helping out in any way she could where she went. She lived off her good deeds and begging and earned some coins from singing in the streets. Every town she visited had another song to learn in the tavern, another elderly woman that needed help, another drunk to charm for a piece of bread. Now she finds herself standing in front of the capital of Dulrum, where a solemn festivity will be held…
-"Well... I'm a man of my word, so sure, I'll agree to your terms on the counter-condition that it's nothing stupid that will get me hurt or worse! I'm choosing to trust you here. You help me out with my weapons training and I'll owe you a favour that you can call upon. Sounds like a deal to me." Julius was a little bit anxious about what he just said, but he kept up the confident façade as he reached out his hand.
-"Oh, I can't promise anything, Nord boy." Paula gave Julius a sly smirk as he passed him and walked away. What have I gotten myself into?
-"So we're we going?" Julius ask when he catches up to her.
-"Not far, there should be a good open spot right... here!" The two of them stops at an open area between the many cottages. Julius remember seeing a lot of these places around campus, just simple open areas like a little meeting spot for the nearby neighbours.
-"So, how do we proceed?" Julius ask as he feels out the well trodden dirt with his feet.
-"It's quite simple, you draw your weapon and do your worst. We'll get into the details later. Oh, and no magic of course." Paula put on a smile of confidence as she grabbed her large mace with both of her hands.

The two fighters seized each other to begin with, circling around slowly without breaking eye contact. Julius made his move first, charging at the girl and swinging his sword in, what he thought would be, unpredictable directions. Paula dodge every slice with ease and jabbed the top of the hammer straight in Julius chest hard enough that he could feel his stomach wound ripping a bit. Coughing, Julius took a few steps back. Paula perused him immediately and swung the large mace at Julius head. He barely managed to duck as the huge piece of wood swooshed over him. That thing would've definitely crushed my skull, is she insane!? Julius had no time to complain though as a second strike came right away. Putting his free hand against the flat surface of the sword Julius tried to parry the massive weapon. The impact spun Julius around, exposing his back to the ferocious girl. Without any warning Julius could feel his testicles getting kicked straight up against his groin, feeling as if they shattered by the girl's unbridled punt. Screaming and crying Julius dropped to the ground covering his wounded pride.
-"Why would you do that!?" Julius screams as he rolls around.
-"So you'll learn, now get up you crybaby!" Paula grabbed an unwilling Julius' arm and forced him on his feet. His weak legs shook and his eyes were red and filled with tears, but Julius still stood up, something many would call an achievement. Paula took a few steps back before she began her assault on the poor freshman again. It took Julius' every ounce of willpower to force his trembling body to move out of the way before the club tried to maul him again. Weakly the Nord tried to counter attack but he was simply too slow for the girl's fast movements. As she spun around Julius' shaky strike she struck him straight in the side of his torso, sending the poor boy flying a couple of meters before tumbling a few more on the ground.
-"Stop! I can't breathe!" Julius begged as he sat up. "I think you broke my ribs!" Julius try to gasp for air but his lungs simply won't cooperate.
-"Don't be such a weakling, get up!" Paula demanded as she slowly approached Julius.
-"No, really! I think you broke my ribs! I think you punctured my lungs, sweet mother nature it hurts so much!" Julius' eyes were filled with panic as the merciless girl got close.
-"I'm not asking you again, get up!" Fed up Paula grabbed Julius arm again and yanked him up on his feet. Julius wheezed for his dear life as he fell down on his knees. Groaning Paula took a few steps back again and swung the hammer in a raising arc, hitting Julius below his chin with enough force to send him up on his feet before falling backwards, slamming his head on the ground.

Crying, shivering, barely conscious or breathing, Julius could feel someone breathing close to his ear.
-"Next time, move those slow feet of your and keep your body low. Lauzurus will eat you raw, Nord boy." Julius could hear Paula's whispers through his hazy state before he passed out, blood pouring out the corners of his lips.

Auron sighed before looking down. Where do I even begin? After contemplating all his options Auron looked up at James with determination in his eyes.
-"I was raised back at the family estate by my father alone. He locked me up, I was under no circumstances allowed to leave the manor. I had no friends, no relatives, only my father who beat me during his lessons. Let's say growing up was piss and I resent every second I can remember." Auron stared into James eyes as the blonde boys expression changed.
-"I- I couldn't know..." James looked away in what Auron assumed were shame.
-"But it's all going to change now. We haven't been at Lauzurus for very long, but my time there opened my mind to a whole new world of possibilities for me. I have decided to leave my past and my legacy and make my own path in life. From this day on I'm not Zecane, only Auron."
-"Are you really going to throw away your family name and status like that!?" James bursts out, clearly shocked.
-"The burden of my family name will only hold me back. It's going to be hard, some will think I'm letting them down and I'll make new enemies. During times like these, I could use a friend. What do you say James, will you be my friend through all this?" Auron reaches out his hand and smile.
-"I... I don't know what to say... My whole life I've been taught to hate people like you. But as I've gotten to know you during this week, I'm not sure anymore. But no matter how you look at it, a friend is better than an enemy." James smiles back as he grabs Auron's hand.

-"We have arrived children, Frontier city!" The coachman interrupts the Auron's and James' moment. Tearing their looks from each other they lay their eyes upon the grand, white wall that surrounds the large city. Slowly the carriage ride through the crowded gate to stop at the large square at the entrance as many others had. "I'll be here waiting children, but please try to be back before dark, riding through the woods at night isn't very safe."
-"Thanks for the ride, don't worry about it." James says as he hops of the wagon. "Well, I'm off to church Auron. Where are you going?"
-"I'm going to look for the market, see if I can find something interesting."
-"When you're finished, why don't you meet me at the Limping Badger for lunch?" James suggest as he starts backing away.
-"Sure, I'll meet you there!" Auron agrees as he walk away the other direction, following the masses.

Auron wasn't used to being in pubic spaces like this, but the anonymity of being in a huge crowd felt good. Wide streets and tall buildings, people from all around the country and the happy buzzing set Auron in a good mood. Young children ran laughing up and down the boulevard playing, street performers played their instruments joyfully while rollicking and guards patrolled leisurely with their polearms resting on their shoulders, cracking jokes and greeting the city folk. It didn't take long before Auron found the large market square, tightly packed with stalls and shouting merchants. Father told me that the quickest way to a woman's heart is glitter, but I don't know if I should trust his advice anymore. Perhaps some beautiful flowers? Or would that be too mundane? Maybe something practical, though I don't know any of her other classes beside dark magic. Confectionery? But what if she's not a sweet-tooth like Ted? Perhaps it doesn't matter what kind of gift it is as long as it's given by me?

Bob stares at the fearless creature as it climbs down the aspen tree. Down below its safe green cover it finds the object of its quest, a large fir cone that had rolled all the way into the aspen bosket where Bob now sat and captured its grace frenetically. The squirrel did not seem bothered at all by the boy's artistic fervor as it munched on the great bounty under the sun's strong rays that pushed through the thick leaf canopy.
-"Thank you my tiny friend." Bob says with a delighted smile on his face as he put down the finished sketch. Breathing in the forest's late summer fragrance, Bob decides to just lean back against one of the trees and soak in the singing of the birds, the rustle from the aspen leaves and the gentle warmth the wind carries. The boy didn't get up before daylight began to fade. He brushed the dust off his clothes before picking up his bags and walking back to the school and toward campus.

To Bob's surprise the living quarters were calm. He could hear muffled music being played somewhere and the occasional scream of pain and death (which of course was bone chilling). But other than that there weren't much else going on. He picked the key out of his pocket and read the small tag that were attached to it. '81 Blue' ? Without a plan in mind Bob began searching for his designated home. He quickly realized that the order of the many houses were scrambled and followed no pattern whatsoever. There was a slight feeling of regret within the boy, realizing that searching for his cottage earlier might have been wise as his bags began feeling heavier by the minute. After an hour of tiring search Bob failed to find any sign of his home. Huffing he dropped his bags on the ground. Turning his head to the left he saw a robust adult building a new house. Planks magically raised up in front of him against the frame so he could easily nail them with his hammer. Makes sense that a magical school would build houses using magic. Bob approached the man hopeful that he might know where cottage eighty one blue is.
-"Hello!" Bob said with a ragged but still gleeful voice.
-"Piss off! Can't you see I'm working?" The man bellowed angrily. Bob did not anticipate the man being so aggressive, which scared him a step back.
-"I'm sorry, I just wanted to ask if you happen to know where I can find number eighty one blue?" Bob said still determined.
-"I'm not finished building it yet so quit bothering me and maybe it'll go faster!" The rude man stopped hammering and glared at Bob with murderous eyes. Bob weren't stupid and picked up the signal to back off before something bad happens.
-"Excuse me, coming through!" Bob barely managed to dodge another builder coming from behind. The blonde man carried a large and round table above his head, displaying his strength. So that's why they didn't admit me into the school immediately, they had to build more houses to fit everyone! It looks like they're quite busy, maybe I should come back later? But what do I do in the meantime?

Why does my face hurt so much? Julius couldn't open his eyes more than halfway. Through his blurred vision he sees himself lying down in a bed with a red haired girl with the complexion of a goddess sitting next to him.
-"Am I with my ancestors?" Julius said barely audible as there was barely no air in his lungs to use. The girl next to him sat up quicker than light and gave off a scared squeak.
-"He's awake!" She then said still terrified.
-"Don't let him sit up!" Julius heard another girl shouting with a tired voice from some other angle. Julius' vision began to clear as he looked around, even though it hurt to turn the neck. It looked like he was in some kind of cottage, it wasn't very different from the one he once had lived in. In the opposite bed sat a brown haired girl dressed in a sweaty night gown. She was panting profusely as one another girl waved a book to fan air in her face. That other girl wore a plain wizards robe which bore the colour blue and had her blonde hair tied in a short pony tail. A third girl was sitting by a table, searching through a large book. She continuously blew her long bangs out of the way so she could read properly. And the last girl who looked at Julius with saddened concern was none other than the love of his life, Jenny Redoak, with her bazing red hair and the cute freckles and the piercing blue eyes and... I must be dreaming! Surely this must be the 'paradise' James have told me about!

-"Am I in heaven?" Julius bursted out with a beyond hoarse voice, both happy and afraid.
-"You would've been if we hadn't found you when we did. Who did this to you!?" Jenny rubbed a wet cloth gently over the Nord's forehead, which were the best feeling he had felt to date. After a few moments of painful and intense thinking Julius remembered the "practice" that he had with that crazy girl Paula.
-"I... got in a fight with someone." Julius said in an attempt to impress.
-"Looked more like you were mauled by a bear or something, I mean, when we found you, you were seriously messed up!" The girl in the blue robe said anxiously.
-"How come I'm still alive then?" Julius asked groaning as he began to feel his injuries.
-"Olivia is seriously good at healing magic! I mean, like, really good!"
-"Please, I'm not that good." The sweating girl responded obviously flattered. "I did what I could though, 'cause really, you're a wreck. Many of your ribs were broken and had scratched one of your lungs badly and your chin was completely trashed. But at least your... you know..." The healer fumbled on her last words.
-"What she's trying to say is she fondled your balls to find out if they are still working and she liked it." The girl by the table spoke with a much lower pitch than other girls in her age, she sounded irritated as well.
-"You can't sat that! I have to examine the whole body for injuries, especially on someone in his state!"
-"That's what she wants us to believe. Anyway your balls are fine." Julius sighed internally as he was actually getting a bit worried.

-"You must know though that this was the first time ever I healed anything else than a simple flesh wound, your state is still critical to the point that anything may break at any point, you need professional help."
-"She have, like, healed you for three or four hours straight." The girl in the blue robe added in as a serious mark.
-"Which kind of bring us to the next problem." Jenny's says nervously.
-"You can't stay here." The girl with the darker voice closed the book with a bang and stood up while blowing aside her bangs. "The school rules state clearly that you can't sleep in any other cottage than your own."
-"We've been over this Isabella, we can't move him or he might die!" Olivia states angrily even through he exhausted state.
-"So what!? I'm not sticking my neck out for a rule-breaker! You heard him admit it himself, he fought another student which is also clearly against the rules. That makes us partners in crime if we hold him here!" Julius swallowed hard at the cold-hearted girl. We only practiced though! But can I really admit that in front of Jenny? I mean a girl whopped my ass in practice to the point where I'm almost dead. So much for being a strong and reliable guy...
-"That's inhumane! Who even suggest such a thing? I'm not throwing him out!" The blonde girl seems just as upset about this as Olivia.
-"Come on Jenny, back me up here! Surely you are clever enough to see that he is only trouble for us!?"
-"I... I..." Jenny looked around nervously as she had her roommates' eyes fixed on her. "What do you think?" She turns around to ask Julius almost scared.
-"What!? You can't ask him!" Isabella stomp on the floor frustrated.
-"Shut up! Of course she can!" Olivia shouts at her.

Auron was frustrated and disappointed. I refuse to be treated like this again. No way I'm giving away my new freedom!
-"Laszlo you are speaking to me as if I’m just property, a pet. Am I only that to you?" Auron could feel the rage boil within him. "Find someone else to be your lapdog, Laszlo! I am not my father, I only bear the curse that is my family name!" Before Laszlo could say anything else Auron turned around and walked out, followed by the mixed looks of everyone present int he room.

-"Will he be a problem?"
-"Not necessarily, but this is sure more interesting than any other outcome."

-"Wait up, Auron! Wait!" Auron could hear Mildred shouting behind him. When he caught up he grabbed Auron's shoulder and turned him around.
-"What do you want!?" Auron asked aggressively.
-"You could've at least turned him down politely!" Mildred panted out flustered.
-"Not when he speaks to me like that."
-"I think you're not seeing the full picture here."
-"I won't lower myself to someone else's schemes!"
-"There are many strong wizards here at Lauzurus and a lot of enemies to make. Laszlo is not one you want to be on the wrong side of!"
-"I'm not afraid."
-"Don't you see? By declining him you basically just said 'I'm going to be a really bad guy and walk in my father's footsteps.'" Auron was just about to open his mouth and argue but stopped right in the middle of his breath. Perhaps I just did... "It's not too late to go back inside and change your mind Auron, because you didn't mean to say that right?"
-"We're done talking here Mildred." Before Mildred had any more time to argue, Auron turned around and ran back to camp.

Julius was spent and tired when he walked through campus. It had been an exhausting day for both body and mind. He had politely declined the invitation to help out tomorrow as well even though it had been fun today. There were other things that had to be done while it is still weekend. When Julius got back the other boys were already there, huddled around the campfire.
-"Welcome back Julius, you look tired." James greet him with a big smile.
-"I am, but at least I've made sure that our house is going to be swell!"
-"You didn't have to. You should get some rest with that wound, if you overwork yourself you'll end up like Desmond." James looked at Julius with concern.
-"Bah! This is nothing! Back in Northwreck this is considered light work."
-"It's great you are getting your house rebuilt and all, but I'm going to miss coming out here hanging out with you guys." Ted looks into the fire reminiscing.
-"Nothing is stopping you from visiting us back at our cottage. We love to have you around, right guys?" James ask as he looks up at his other roommates.
-"Of course! You're a good friend, Ted." Julius says with a wide smile as he lays down.
-"Sure, why not." Auron says absently. The past events of the day had left him in a glum mood.
-"Really? Thanks guys I... That makes me really happy!" Ted hugs an unsuspecting James, catching him off guard.
-"Heh, don't mention it. We live in eighty one blue, come by any time."
-"Okay! Well, it's getting late. I'll come by your new house tomorrow then!" Ted ran off with a joyful glee, leaving the three boys to get some sleep.

Sunday, 09:24
Location: Somewhere in the shallow woods

-"Get up Auron, it's time to go!" Auron could feel James kicking his butt.
-"Murrrrr, where?" Auron asks drowsy as he sits up, rubbing his eyes.
-"To the city of course, you told me you wanted to tag along."
-"Oh, right. Give me a moment." Auron stood up quickly and brushed off his clothes before heading to the brook where he washed his face. "I'm finished, where are we going?" He asks when he get back.
-"To the school entrance, there should be a carriage waiting for us."
-"Alright, let's go then."
Auron and James walked quickly through a still sleeping campus. The few students that could be seen were also on their way to the school entrance. When they got there they saw the many carriages lined up on the school's front lawn. James picked one of the equipages in the middle, an open wagon with a spotted white horse.
-"Where are we going children?" The coachman asked joyfully.
-"To Frontier city and back." James state as he climbs on board.
-"Well that would be thirty copper there and thirty copper back, with student discount of course." Without any complaining the two boys exchanged a silver each, getting forty coppers back each. "Thank you very much, off we go!" The coachman gave the reins a good whip and the wagon jerked after as the horse began to move.

The carriage rode through the tranquil forest along the bumpy small paths before they finally reached the iconic Swedian, green rolling hills and big wide fields. Even though autumn was on its way the flowers bloomed vividly, creating blue waving fields like the ocean or bright pastures yellow like the sun. The trip had been silent thus far, in an almost awkward way. James were the one to finally break the silence.
-"So how was it growing up?"
-"Excuse me?" Auron asked a bit resentful.
-"You know, with your father, probably the most despised person in the country." Auron didn't know if he should answer him or not. Sure, they were roommates. But Auron couldn't really consider him much of a friend after the way James treated him. Perhaps this was his way to get to know Auron better?

The sun shone brightly on top of the heaven. Julius was walking down campus slowly with his sword bouncing lightly on his shoulder while thinking deeply. So where can I found someone willing to practice fighting with me? There are no classes today, not that I'm in a mood to get my ass kicked by him again. I don't know anyone else that practices weapons in my classes. I guess I remember some faces from weapons class but where do I find them? As Julius keep walking he spots a familiar face leaning against one of the many cottages around.
-"Hey, Marcus! Care to help me out?" Julius shouts happily as he runs up to the silver haired boy.
-"Hey there Julius, what's up pal?"
-"You know your way around here right? Do you know anyone that might want to help me practice with weapons?"
-"It's true I know a lot of people, let me think. Hmm..." The junior rubbed his chin as he thought hard. "You could try Paula I guess, if you don't mind your women hot headed."
-"Where can I find her?" Julius ask with new gained spirit.
-"Your best bet would be her cottage, forty nine red. Oh, and tell her Victor sent you, and that he finds the birthmark on her butt cute."
-"Why would I-"
-"Don't worry about it, just do it. Off you go now, shoo shoo!" Marcus urged Julius as he pushed him in the right direction.

It took a bit of asking and looking around but eventually Julius found Paula's cottage somewhere in the center of campus. Nervously Julius stepped up on her porch and knocked on the door. Opening the door was a tanned older girl with dark hair tied in a pony tail on the left side of her head. She had painted her lips blue and wore blue shorts and a thick white shirt strapped to her with small belts tied around her waist and arms.
-"Are you Paula?" Julius asked with confidence.
-"Yes, who's asking?"
-"I'm Julius, I'm looking for someone to help me practice with weapons. Uhm, Victor sent me."
-"Did he now?" She asks skeptically.
-"Ye, he asked me to tell you he finds the birthmark on your... butt... cute..." Julius had the urge to just run away but he forced himself to stay. The girl in front of him turned visibly red as he stared at Julius who could feel the sweat running down his neck.
-"Ehm... Mhm, give me a moment." Paula slammed the door shut in front of Julius. While Julius waited he was sure he could hear intensive squeeing and giggling inside the cottage. When Paula opened the door again she was carrying a large, two handed mace of some sort. the hammer was made out of wood and the head stretched down along the top of the shaft with rough metal and wooden spikes, though it looked like they were meant to maul rather than pierce.
-"So you'll help me?" Julius asked with a hopeful tone.
-"I will, on one condition." She demonstratively hold up her finger.
-"Name it!" How bad could it be? Never mind, it's Lauzurus we're talking about...
-"You'd owe me a favour."
-"What kind of favour are we talking about here?" Julius said now worried.
-"Oh, you know, a favour. When I need it I'll let you know." She said teasingly." Oh boy, that could mean all sorts of trouble down the line... But maybe it ain't so bad?

Stretching his arms and back Bob step out of the coach. It had been a long and bumpy trip, but manageable thanks to the beautiful scenery. Putting down his bags on the ground Bob put his arms on his hips and look around with a big smile.
-"What a beautiful place! The green roofs of the forest, the serene air that fills this place, just lovely." Bob says to himself as he breathes in the warm late summer air. Can't say the same thing about the school building though. But with a little colour the thing could look less boring!
-"You are Bob Rosethorn I assume?" An old man in a worn and patched orange robe approach the chubby boy.
-"That's me!" He responds with a gleeful voice.
-"Very good. Welcome to Lauzurs, here is your house key and a pamphlet with useful information. Class begins at eight tomorrow morning, don't be late. If there are any further questions you'll find me at my office tomorrow. Good luck!" And with that the old man walks away in the direction of the school. "Oh, and campus is that way." He stops and point in the direction of the living quarters before he continued.
Guess introductions aren't a big thing around here. Looks like I live in cottage eighty one according to this note on the key. Well, I guess I'm in no hurry to get there if there is anything else that catches my attention.
