I've been RPing on here on and off since I was 12 (fuck it's been awhile) on multiple accounts (I started this one when I was around 13), over that time, I've most certainly gotten better both as a writer and someone who's able to get into character. My favourite (and really only) types of RPs are NRPs because I feel like they play into my interests of politics, character creation, and historical contexts/world-building. My favourite settings are those stereotypical post-apocolypse dystopias that you would see the generic Young Adult book protagonist wander around, though I'm also open for Sci-Fi, Modern, and Historical settings. I'm not the biggest fan of Steampunk though, so it's slightly more difficult for me to get involved in those. When RPing, I prefer not to get involved into the stats side of things, as I'd much rather dive deep into the lore of both the setting I'm RPing with and the Characters/Nations I'm using for that RP in question. Now, for more about myself, I'm a massive fan of Music in general and a Singer. My favourite band changes what seems like weekly, though I'd say I'm a massive fan of Nine Inch Nails, Turnover, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foster The People, Weathers, and Smashmouth The Wombats. My favourite songs are probably Closer, by Nine Inch Nails, Knights of Cydonia, by Muse, BYOB, by System of a Down, Pumped up Kicks, by Foster The People and I Don't Wanna Know, by Weathers. My favourite games are NBA2k18 and Crusader Kings 2, though I'm also a fan of HOI4 (yay Kaiserreich) and EU4. Database of some RPs I've ran: Age of Rebirth (Post WW3) The original. Was a popular NRP for it's time but eventually died out. The Rise of Man (Fallout-like RP) The "sequel" to Age of Rebirth. Was quite interesting building off the history of an NRP that already happened to create a new one. Sollus Supremus (Dune-like Space Opera) I decided to venture out of my comfort zone a bit with this one, some really generic Space Opera. Age of Rebirth: The Rising Tide [Post-Apocolyptic NRP] Honestly my favourite one I've ever made, though that's most likely because I've become a better writer over the past 3 years, considering I'm no longer 13, like I was when I made Age of Rebirth.

Basic Introduction
Welcome to Sollus Supremus (Sol-S for Short), the newest attempt at a space opera on the forum. Sol-S shall basically be an attempt at turning the Milky Way into a place divided into large Empires, Republics, Technocracies, and many other types of nations. It will simulate a semi-accurate representation of how society would work with large, conflicting governments with different beliefs. My key goal in this RP is to simulate a Cold War type scenario between at least two superpowers, with other nations joining different sides for protection and power. (If anyone would want to help right up some lore with me in PMs that would be great. Something like a past great war between the two powers or a Galaxy Wide War similar to World War 1 or Two)

1: Don't be a douche 2: No BDO's 3: No going outside of the Milky Way 4: No objects allowing you to go through an object. 5: No Time Travel 6: I can add more rules if needed 7: Character Based, stats do not matter
Technology Description
FTL has been fully achieved by all of the nations across the galaxy, making travel quick between areas. The way that FTL shall be created for your nation is up to you. If you want, you can create Worm-Holes to travel across the galaxy, or you could just use the generic FTL drive. As stated in the rules, I am not allowing BDO's. If you do not know BDO stands for Big Dumb Object (Something like the Death Star in Star Wars). A BDO is basically just some object that can go and around insta-destroying planets and is only created to be destroyed. The reason why I don't want this to be used is because I feel like it would limit the RP story wise and it would just turn this into who can create the biggest thing to be destroyed.

Laziness, and the reason I was gone is cause of school. Right now it seems that I'll be free for at least 3 months (Which leaves it open for the Age of Rebirth 1 year anniversary) so its going to be fine. So the official Reboot is underway!
@MetalLover I really hope that this is some Neo-Selucid Empire. Just to be something more interesting. Maybe have something with Socialist Hellenics and the Neo-Selucids about who is the successor to Alexander the Great.

@MetalLoverBecause it kinda rather belongs to the Arena and Casual threads I don't know if I should make an OOC thread for it in the NRP section. So instead I just use this thread to organize the games. Maybe it'd change in the future but until then feel free to post whichever faction you wish to try. Given the interest I think you can find a match soon.
I remember that like 8 or 7 months back someone ran something similar to this and put it in the NRP section.
