Chord retracted his body as he saw a rabbit looking at the window followed y a muffled voice. He couldn't tel what it had said and turned to his MeChip. He turned it on and Ra'eesah appeared, a coffee in her hand and a bathrobe on. "How can I help you oh so great thief?" She asked, taking a long sip if her virtual coffee. Her eyes were half open and her usually perfect makeup was nonexistent. Christian didn't even know she could do that.

"Can I get that audio enhanced? I could bare-"

An explosion cut him off. below him and to the left. Directly below the window. It threw the young thief into the air, but all of his chords stuck firmly to the wall and quickly retracted him back. "Fuck was that" he thought to his MeChip. While she reappeared he began climbing to the roof. He was going to need to get this guy's hilts. He got to the top of the building and began to reassess his plan. He was hoping the guy would be awake and gone by now bu apparently he was wrong. He sat on the roof and turned his attettniong to Ra'eesah who was back with a big book, the same one from before.

"Well, idiot, I told you he can make explosions. And guess what he did? He made explosions. I also did some searching for you, These hilts are basicallly the opposite of your dumb sword you bought. They take an energy wielder's energy and make it into a near solid blade made of energy. It's a rare and expensive material that I don't have an appraisal value in my database for." She closed the book and pulled out a clipboard. "Also you need to make it to your father's house in 3 hours and 36 minutes.. He said he had a present for you. To quote him, the invite said 'Christian, I have a present for you. Something for that fancy glove of yours. Meet me at 17:00' it is currently 13:24"

He nodded and continued thinking. That's when he checked the floor plan of the building. The place was built with super villains in mind. No exits other than doors or windows, personal heating and cooling, no vents. It was a very hard to break into building. A green jeep drove by down below on the streets. He was reading the floor plan intently when a warning sign flashed in front of his screen. Straight from his anonymous employer.

The warning read "Chord, plans have changed. We no longer need your assistance. We have had another operative kidnap one of the developers and they informed us of a much larger heist opportunity after some persuasion. Sadly he died in the process. We are offering a 6 million unit reward. A mechanized suit developed by Maaske Scientific Developments Inc. We do not know of the location, we do know it is underground however. We do intend on rewarding you 2 million units for discovering the location of the suit, the following 4 million come from retrieval of the suit." The notice closed with a due date of a week form today.

"I have to take this Ra. I need that money." He said. He looked back to the ground where the jeep was now out of sight. He knew of the Maaske Scientific Developments building, it wasn't exactly hidden. Maybe someone there knows about it? He decided to pay it a visit. He stood up and looked to the building. Maaske Scientific Developments Inc was spelled out in huge letters. It was only about 3 miles away, he should be back home by dinner, he had a week after all.

@callalily do you think you could write like who the famous heroes and villains are. So like we know who's popular and stuff. :)

Seconded, I want to know which guys might be employers for chord
Chord was hired to take some weird hilts from an energy user in the city. Some punk who's hero parents were dead heroes and he was trying his best to follow in their footsteps. Guy was a dick though, constantly asking for rewards. He was someone Chord would get along with if he wasn't enabling a corrupt government that his father spent years cleaning up. He launched all 10 cables from his hands and began to scale the brick building.

"Ra, get me some data on this kid. I want to know what he does, what he looks like and if you know how to beat him." He muttered. He saw Ra’eesah flash beside him with a clipboard in her hands. 'One page? can I get a little more? I hear he's nearly killed a few baddies from my employer. Says they're rumors that he actually did kill someone." He stated with a gust of air out of his nose at the end. A light laugh followed.

Ra'eesah vanished for a moment and returned with a book this time labeled 'Registered Heroes: Energy Wielders' and opened to somewhere near the end. "First off, you're wrong. He has a perfectly clean record, don't be an asshole and get yourself killed to ruin it for him. His powers include life energy manipulation, allowing him to drain a living thing or make connections with them, as well as making explosions of some sort, apparently with the same energy. He seems way more fun than you, chord boy." She said with a heavy layer of sass. "Anything else, master?" she said.

"Yeah, what am I stealing again? A sword hilt? Why would my employer need that? he could just make one, couldn't he?" he thought as he neared a window that lead into the upper floor of his apartment. Fun thing about it was that it was locked. He retracted his right hand's cables and hug on the wall next to the window, debating his next move while peeking in occasionally. Most of his heists didn't happen midday. Ra’eesah was scanning the indoors for anything valuable while also looking for the hilts. Nothing too valuable was found and the hilts weren't in this room. He tapped the window to see if he could get the punk to open it up for him.
I can post now too, after you finish
When are we planning on starting?

Judah remained flying and holding the ice boy. He couldn't do anything with him in his hands, but dropping him wasn't an option. "Now would be a GREAT time for that plan of yours." He said, watching the alien get ready to attack. During this time he Alexis and began making plans for what to do, discussing spells and which weapons to use telepathically.

'We should bless the ice boy to soften his landing and drop him. When he lands we can use the holy fire to create a bow and pin the alien down with a celestial arrow.' Alexis suggested. Judah didn't know if he had enough energy in him too preform both, but he hadn't even tapped into the massive amounts of energy Alexis had yet, and she could power the form alone for days without Judah's help at all. If they did shoot the celestial arrow, they would need a perfect shot hitting him in a non-metal armored piece as not to have it bounce off. Magic beats tech like a rock and scissors.

'We could also just try and, after landing and placing down Ice man here, growing our wings to 15 feet across and creating a gust of wind to knock him off balance. If that's not ok, we could circle around and flank him with a shield bash as to not pierce him and minimize the area of effect.' He thought. 'Maybe even cast a spell like Ruoy sdnah era deit! or something? I'd need your power to do it though.' He asked Alexis. In the end though, it all depended on what the ice boy would say.
