"Not being noticed." Bo said from the back of the room. He had gotten there first but the teacher said nothing to him. He hadn't looked up as the other student asked if it were TSA 101. It may or may not have been directed at him. He stood up and walked to the front of the classroom. "Oh, and not slowing down. I don't do that too well." He butted into the conversation that hadn't started yet. He did his best to not slouch for once but years of it put his neck at an angle that made him always slouch, good thing he wasn't one for professionalism. He turned to the other boy who had just arrived. He too had a uniform on. His fit better and he filled it out unlike Bo, who's arms seemed to be nonexistent under the sleeves, and the bagginess of his pants didn't make him look any bigger. "And you, big man?" he said.
I'll try to rush the sotry to get to the ghost world but I need cinderella man to post
soz m8, been busy
The Museum of Otherworldly History opened a new exhibit today. Ever since the Fenton's found the ghost world, made the entire world turn invisible and let a comet pass through it, the ghost world was a well known thing. The Museum now had it's own, functioning but inactive ghost portal. It lay unplugged and, if not for janitors, it would be gathering dust. Many people would jokingly walk up to it and take pictures in it, pressing the button to turn it on while making awkward poses. If you had a social life or a Facebook, you've seen these pictures. The machine always had a camera pointed at it, but most security was centered around the more powerful exhibits or the haunted items that needed to be watched in the chances of them acting up.
This is where we meet our young protagonist, one of many, Mark Baren. Mark Baren would visit the museum regularly, as you could smoke inside of it. The smoke alarms were disabled because of ghost mist stuff always setting them off, he and many others came here for the same reasons. Mark wasn't a regular, like most. He only smoked occasionally and would sometimes find his way to the museum. Today he saw a group of people all looking at the machine, and his good friend Marquis was actually there.
"Marquis! Ha-hey how's it been?" He said as he looked at the machine with some girls posing in it, and a few other people were simply standing nearby. He saw a plug behind it on the ground.
So no mutiny? *puts down scimitar*
After configuring his watch to now speak in a more... mature, tone, Bo threw a shirt on with that special glowing disk and checked his watch. "Oh bo, honey, time for you're first class. I put it on the gps just for you." The voice said seductively. He was walking toward the red dot on the watch when he diecided to look up. Not two steps away from when the voice looked, he could see some eyes looking at him, they looked older, so they knew he was new. He heard the giggles and the talk and quickly quickened his pace as he reset the watch for about the fifth time, making the dot disappear.
"Freaking knew I shouldn't have gone with the porn star voice... why do they even have tha-" He cut himself off. He forgot who made the watches. Of course Mr. Stark would put a seductive setting in it. It was Jarvis after all. He fiddled with it more, until he got a new voice, a pleasant one. It had a deep tone to it and sounded very proper. It was Bo's opposite in almost all ways. "Bo, sir, the class is this way. You may want to quicken thy pace." It said. Bo did as was told.
A building was ahead, it probably said something but Bo didn't read it. He just walked through the sliding doors and into the classroom that Claude had sent him to, and took a seat. He didn't even notice the teacher was the guy who told him where to find his shirt. He figured that dude was just some regular old dude. "Sir, you have arrived. Early, as planned. You are welcome."
"Early? EARLY! You said I was LATE! I'll strangle you!" Bo grabbed his wrist and started violently shking his hand below the watch.
I'll swab the deck!
Accepted, IC will be up soon!
Looking down at the watch he was just handed, Bo looked at the guy who gaave it to him. "Hey, last time I wore a watch like this I almost got killed" He held it up to the light as it slowly booted up and started to do what a watch does best. Tell time. It was time to get going to his room and get one of those sweet shirts. "Name's Bo, nice meeting you, Todd." He said as he started hitting random buttons on the watch making noises and pictures appear. "I better go get one of those shirts, I'll, uh, see you around, K?"
And with that, he disappeared into the crowd, well, not disappeared, he was easy to see considering everyone wore MUCH nicer clothes than he did, but nevertheless he was in there. He waved through once again, only bumping into one or two people that he had cut in line earlier. He finally escaped the crowd that had seemed to be hogging all the breathable air in the area and started panting. He walked out a bit and then sat against a wall and had lit a cig before continuing on his way. He didn't know who's cig it was, someone in the crowd was getting one out and he just bummed it off of him. He took a drag and continued toward his dorm, still fiddling with the watch.
"Hello, Bo. What is my name?" It said. He was freaked out and dropped the cig onto the ground, but he tried to catch it with his lips and ended up burning his chin. "Hello? Bo? Are you still there? What is my name?" It asked again. Bo spammed more buttons to get it to turn off, and ran to his dorm. He would mess with it there and hopefully get another cig.
