Destin mumbles quietly, curling in a tighter ball. He then yawns a bit, wondering what had disturbed him. He blinks the sleep out of his eyes and looks at Misha. "Misha?!" He then turns away, remembering the events that had transpired previously. "You wanted me to jump and now Aya's sad with me. This is your fault..."
Sacha chuckles slightly at that. "Yeah, Misha's a pretty feisty one. I'm sure she won't run off." She gives Misha a long look before nodding to Brick. "Destin's over there by the fire with Aya. Misha can go hang out there until we figure out a more...long term set-up for her." She turns and begins walking towards her tent.
Sacha looks over and blinks, walking towards the pair. "Oh, it would appear you..." She then frowns. "Hello Misha." She then looks at Brick. "Ah, I see you have finally shifted, very good! Anyway, care to tell me why you have brought a Brom into camp?" She asks, crossing her arms, feeling very...small next to such a large animal.
Aya shakes her head and sighs. At least he seemed to be doing okay now. "I missed you too, Destin. Don't ever do something stupid like that again, okay? I don't want to have to miss you for the rest of my life."

Destin looks down, then nods. "I guess I'm glad to hear you'd miss me if something happened to me." He looks up at her. "Maybe nothing like that. but a stubbed paw or something...you can take care of me all the time!" He giggles at that thought and how angry that would make Fabine! He gives out a contented sigh and watches the fire.
Aya felt the blush from earlier return to her cheeks. "If you wanted to see me, you didn't have to drown yourself to do it." The words were matched by a pouty tone.

Destin laughs a bit, ignoring the pain it caused in his side. "Yeah well...Seems to be the best way to do it." He sets his head on her arm and looks up at her cutely. "I really really missed you Aya." He purrs and buries his face in her shirt again.
"Herbs?!" Aya repeated in disbelief. "Destin, you should have come to me! I have plenty of spare herbs! If your group has money to spare, you can buy them in town." She forced herself to calm down and go over his problems one by one. "Everybody makes mistakes, okay? I know that sounds like a stupid thing you hear when people want you to feel better, but it's true! And by mistakes that healers can make, this is hardly the worst. Did you accidentally feed someone nightshade instead of elderberry? Or did you fail to check an infection? There was nothing that couldn't be fixed. K-killing yourself wouldn't only make things worse!" she flinched at her stuttering. The words had been difficult for her to say. "If the Broms are anything like the Rabins, they'd die in their tents of a fever if you weren't there to check on them. Don't you dare think that you're useless."

Destin looks down and sighs softly and then lays back in her lap with a small huff. "I guess. but it's almost winter. We don't even have firewood in the Brom camp anymore. How am I supposed to find time to get a group to take me for herbs when we're trying to do that? I could never take herbs from you...You need those just as much as we do." He closes his eyes and nods. "It was stupid of me to try to kill myself. But..." He shivers and moves closer to her. "At least one good thing came of it."
Aya desperately tried to stop the tears from falling, but it was little use. "Why would you try to drown yourself then? Nothing would upset me more..." She looked down at his face through her blurry eyes. "We just talked about this, Destin! Every life is special! You were so willing to give yours up... Why?"

"The herbs are all gone Aya!" Destin say, looking away. "I ruined them. I left a lantern on in the tent. All the herbs burned because I'm stupid! I'm so fucking stupid." He flinches, not used to swearing. His little baby ears flattening against his skull at the intrusion to their sacredness. "I...I'm just another mouth to feed. I can't help anyone. I'm useless and pathetic...Even my own group members think so!"
The words were like a knife to Aya's heart. A horrifying thought flashed through her mind. Suicide! Destin was trying to commit suicide! What had lead to this? In her days of studying how to heal people she'd of course looked into mental health, but it was really her forefront. What if he was depressed? What if he was delirious? Throughout the muddle of thoughts only one thing was clear to her. "Destin, I'd never let you die!" She pressed him closer to her and felt the uncertainty of her young age crash in. Although she wanted to be strong, she started to cry uncontrollably.

Destin whimpers as she begins to cry. "Hey now...I'm..." He sighs and nuzzles her face the best her can. "Aya don't cry. Please don't cry." He uncurls his paws from under him, wincing at the pain in his side, but he leans up and licks her cheeks and chin, nuzzling her. "I didn't mean to upset you. I would never mean to upset you..." He whispers that last part and then grows cold. Does she even know how I feel about her?
Aya relaxed and removed her hands as she saw him calm down.
"What do you mean 'supposed to save you'?" she frowned, feeling a nurturing instinct take over her. She scooped up his body and laid him on her lap, gently patting the fur between his ears. "What happened, Destin? Did someone try to hurt you?"

Destin's tail droops and he avoids looking at her, as much as he wanted to. "I wanted the river to take me Aya...I'm a horrible healer and now everyone's going to die because of me.." Tears form in his eyes as he buries his face in her shirt. "You should have just let me die Aya.." He whispers, squeezing his eyes shut.
"No!" Aya quickly puts her hands over Destin's body, terrified that he would run. If he did that, he'd hurt himself even more! She put little force on his body, conflicted between keeping him down and not causing him pain. "Destin, you're not captured! I just took you here because you fell into the river. Don't you remember?"

Destin instantly relaxes at her voice. Aya would never let anything bad happen to him! He sighs in relief and purrs again. "Yeah! And you saved me. Right?" He looks a bit confused. "Wait. I'm not a prisoner? Then why am I here?" He asks, ears flattening against his head. "No one was supposed to save me..."
