“Understood J’onn.” Gypsy smiled and saluted. The whole “this is your specialty” was kind of nice of him. Having been married must have done him good, Gypsy thought. Looking through the folder that J’onn game them all she decided to spend her time listening to the others while she looked through the files for information about the machine. The best course of action for her was to look for it, dismantle it and call for help. Their enemies had the advantage in numbers and in sheer firepower because of it. It made more sense to her if they called for backup. One of the biggest advantages to being a part of the league was that they could band together and help each other out. They should utilize that more.

There was no arguing with the Martian’s logic. His answer was the perfect answer, it actually sounded like the ideal answer tailor fit for him. Ray figured that it must be the Martian’s telepathy. The man’s telepathic powers made him really terrifying, and him providing assistance through his telepathy just made him that much scarier. The details are unclear, but according to the League’s files the original team was first formed when the Martian called for them from around the world and when he went into hiding to learn how to live with people he used his telepathy to hide his presence so that he could notbe found. Truly the Martian was a terrifying man, and ray was glad that he was on their side. “That’s good to know then J’onn.”

Having no questions to ask Sand simply accepted the fact that the Martian left. The members of this pick up team had already asked any question that he would want to ask, which was a nice turn of events. For his part, Sand kept quiet in his chair reading the files making sure that he and his team would be prepared to take down the facility and the villains inside. As someone who relied mostly on his wits and gadgets being three steps ahead was one of the things that he needed to do.

He was quite honored that they wanted him to be their leader, but honestly he’d rather not have the responsibility. “I’m quite honored that you think highly of me, but I’d rather not be a leader. We should just come up with a decent plan, stay in contact and hope for the best. It may seem uncharacteristic, but we’ve never really been a group together.” This way none of them should argue. Everyone here is a decent human being who shouldn’t be that petty, well the Creeper was one thing, but he’s a special case.

“Anyway I agree with the plan so far. Our best bet is to land in the jungle and sneak in.” He managed to sound formally so far. He just hoped that his plan made sense to them as well with him. “I looked through the filed J’onn gave us and I figure our best bet is to go in pairs. There are six of us here, three heavy hitters, Vibe, The Ray and Creeper, while Gypsy, Crimson Fox, and have abilities that can be used for stealth. If we pair the three together we can compensate the other’s lack of stealth skills and hitting power”. It made sense in his head, hopefully he was able to express the plan properly to them as well. Truthfully he’d just rather go with the girls since the other three were pretty loud, but he appreciated their strength and they were valuable in their own right. “Also I like Creeper’s idea of using sleeping gas to decrease the number of opponents. I dodn’t have enough that will cover the entire island, but if we systematically use them I their ventilation system we should cover multiple areas at once.”

“There’s actually something I want to say.” The ray raised his hand. “If we pair up with teams I’d prefer to go with Vivian. The two of us…I think are the fastest here in terms of speed. So getting around should be pretty easy. Like Francisco said if I sneak in using costumes I don’t think I’ll have any problems socializing to get info.” He did not want to use interrogate. “Also if Vivian can come with me she can use her powers on men so it can make things easier. Right? ”

Don't worry about the scheduling though. My classes start on October 1 so it's pretty close for me too.

Yes it is kind of hard to figure out how they react, but for the most part I've figured out that Alex is basically just going along with it for now since he's the type to just accept things as they are unless proven otherwise, whereas the other two are in a state of denial, Summer is vocal and quick to accept whereas Simon is internal, but slow to accept since he thinks too much.

Haha. LOL. It's okay. I don't mind. We should figure out how to get around that when we do collabs though like leave markers or something.
It will depend if I have stuff to do tomorrow, but since I do most of my work at home I think we can work something out.

Sand, as always was silently listening to the mission briefing. From the looks of it, their mission was a League cleanup mission. From his rough assessment of the villains, none of them was particularly destructive. They were dangerous, all villains are, but not enough that they should o be particularly scared. Out of all the villains that J’onn mentioned the one he was particularly scared of was LiveWire simply because the woman had a naturally lethal power. Everyone else could be easily outsmarted or had a significant weakness that could be used against them. As for his worries why none of the original Leagu members were here that questioned was answered by Vibe, which saved him time from speaking up.

Just for safe measure Sand decided to stay quiet and let the others speak first. In the meantime he decided to read through the files in the folders. He was among the heroes that extensively made use of the League’s extensive library of data. One of his principles as a hero was to make use of any available resource and joining the League gave him access to a near limitless source of heroes.

“Actually J’onn I have one question about the mission. Do we know what kind of tech Luthor built exactly? Like what does it look like and stuff? I think it would be easier if we go for that first then call for backup to make the whole thing easier.” Gypsy asked the Martian. This type of mission was not a good fit for her because of her powers and skill set wasn’t suited for fighting villain of this caliber. Her other teammates Vibe and The Ray were a good fit because they had a naturally high level combat level because of their powers.

It would be a completely different thing is she was just sneaking since that was her specialty. If the place was just a normal compound full of flat scan goons where the goal was to infiltrate and get something then it would be an entirely different question. Her spying ability was high enough that if she used it in tandem with her power then there was a possibility that she defeat even Batman in that aspect.

“I have a question J’onn. Why go now? I mean If they are hiding out why not just wait till we have more members and raid the whole thing. Also why not go with us?” The Ray asked. Truthfully he was quite scared. He’s never had had to do a mission that involved fighting a group of super villains.

The only time he’s ever went against a large group of super powered people was when the UltiMen clones invaded the watchtower. That was entirely different thing though since the clones were mindless and fought only using their powers. They were robotic and didn’t really act like people since they followed a certain code which made them predictable and easy to defeat. Just plain super villains with powers, abilities, personalities, and the ability to learn was a whole other thing.

By the way I'm curious. Do you have a reference for the place they're going to infiltrate. Also are we gonna face all the villains you mentioned?
