I'll have the tidbits of info up in a while including the first villains's story. The first arc will jump right off after school and they've just gotten wind of the breakout.
NAME : Farah Malahandra

SUPERHERO NAME: Genie

AGE and BIRTHDAY: 18/March 13

APPEARANCE: Farah is considered to be a beautiful young woman. Her hair is dark brown, straight and long, but never maintained properly. Her eyes are a dark shade of green that almost appear black. Her skin has a nice shade of brown that sometimes appear caramel colored under the right light, but she rarely shows this off to most people because she covers herself up most of the time. Many people who’ve seen her clean and dressed properly, and her parents consider her to be beautiful, but she doesn’t really see that nor does she care. She doesn’t care much for appearances and rarely dresses up. Her everyday clothes consist of plain, dark colored hoodies, shirts, shorts, and sneakers. Since she doesn’t go to the field because of her non offensive abilities Farah doesn’t have a costume, but she does have a tendency to wear a cargo jumpsuit when working, with only the bare necessities underneath.

GENDER: Female

PERSONALITY: Farah is the type of person who doesn’t like to stand out, but not because she’ shy or introverted. She doesn’t like to stand out because she dislikes it when people watch her and get inquisitive about her business. By no means is she abrasive and easily angered with people, in fact most would say that she’s quite pleasant and well mannered, and she is, for the most part anyway. Under that obedient and polite façade is a thrill seeking daredevil with low impulse control and a dangerous appetite for trouble. She herself knows this and doesn’t plan on changing this part about herself because it’s fun, and she considers this to be her goal in life which is why she’s interested in being a hero because the way she sees heroes are people who make the world a better place so that people can be happy and have fun.

BACKGROUND: Farah was born to a family in the outskirts of black district close enough to the black district, but in spite of how people associate families in the black district they were a happy family. His parents owned and ran the small bar “1001” which does quite well even today. One could say that the bar was her home, and not the remodeled offices above the place. Farah lives a relatively normal childhood and even though she had powers that would have made their life easie, but her father wouldn’t allow her to do such a thing.
Her father was a normal human being with no known powers, but for some reason he always knew when Farah was up to no good, he often called this his “Instinct”. This instinct killed him. It happened really quickly, her father was counting the money for that day’s work when a masked thief came in demanding something from Farah’s father. He talked him out of it, but a “hero“ came in to stop the thief and in the ensuing chaos the gun’s trigger got pulled and hit Farah’s father in the head. He survived with no known lasting damages to his brain, but in a coma with little possibility of waking up. This was agood thing, but the operation cost them a lot of money and maintaining the machines to keep him alive would cost them even more. For a while Farah’s mother contemplated pulling the plug, but Farah couldn’t allow that. It was one of the few moments where Farah directly disobeyed her father’s rules. She made their lives easier. Using her abilities Farah produced the money needed by moving money around from various people. This didn’t go unnoticed by her mother, but what was important was that Farah’s father was alive. A member of the board of directors in MASH noticed this and realized her powers. The man would turn a relatively blind to what she did, but she must attend the school and must serve detention until she graduates. Farah agreed and the rest isn’t really important anymore.

POWERS: Farah is a Technopath. Her abilities allow her to communicate with machines, possess an intrinsic knowledge of anything technological, and to some degree manipulate them. Unlike Technopaths with the ability to telekinetically build and disassemble machines, and telepathically communicate with machines, Farah must physically build machines and touch them to communicate. To compensate for this weakness Farah is in the process of building something that will help her bypass the telepathic weakness of her ability. (Think Micah Sanders from Heroes.)

She knows that Technopathy is not an offensive power and she’s perfectly fine being a coordinator to the team, especially since she’s quite sure that as individuals they’ll do fine, but as a group they’ll just get themselves killed. In a way she considers herself to be responsible for them because she was the one who “heard” the computer reach out to her which led to the discovery of their HQ.

REASON FOR DETENTION: Farah’s serving detention for the rest of her school ife in MASH to avoid being sent to juvie, or worse.
LOL hey GM dropping by here. It's so weird that me, the GM is only here for a fraction of a time....sorry about that. Anyway I'll most probably have an IC up by friday.
Just to clarify the only one who knows what we're doing is our characters. Well maybe not just us, but who knows.

Mr. Shoe and Stryder go ahead and PM me those CS.

All while this is going on I've accepted two more people who should be posting their CS's soon, and are waiting for two more people to finish/send me their CS. not counting Shoe and Stryder.

So at the moment we have 11ish people..wow that's daunting....and that's not counting my two characters who, just to not crowd the battlefield may be support types who will act like Alfred's, but maybe sassier. In any event if we do have that many people I may make two or three escaped villains and not just one.

If everyone somehow gets done by Thursday I should have the IC post up, along with my two characters....and some more info that's needed for world building.

.
it should be illegal for me to just be posting once a week.....
BTW the main main bad guy is sort of/ just like Lex. I was only talking about the super-villain that our characters will be fighting for their first big mission.
Ahh...so i was about to go to sleep about three hours ago, but as it turns part of the seven page essay i need to submit tomorrow got corrupted and now I'm missing a whole chunk. It's my first all nighter this semester....it's like all sorts of wonderfully craptastic feelings.
I guess so, but this silence is rarely a good sign, unless of course we're all the same in that we just lurk and have such a hard schedule. In any event since I'm constantly busy feel free to discuss what you all want to happen with the runaway villain. Go ahead and collaboratively make him or her.
No new post? I either scared everyone away with that post or it's a slow day. I really hope it's just a slow day.
No friend will die too soon. We won't get that dark right off the bat. It's there, but I don't want this to become some kind of twisted and grim version of Kick-Ass.
Anyway the darkness of that whole scenario lies in the fact that the "real" heroes are too busy doing something sponsored/publicized that they couldn't be helped doing actual hero stuff.

Also it's sunday night now, past 11, and this basically means I have school tomorrow until Thursday. Some of you may have noticed that I'm basically not here during those days so expect me to do only half/less of what I've been doing over the weekend because my day starts around 4 and ends around 8 pm so really I only have time to do online stuff for two hours before I go to bed, and that's if I have free time. I could do more during the day, but I don't have a laptop and internet connection with me all day so there you go. However, during the day, when I can, I write most of the my posts and do the work when I can by sacrificing any relaxation time I have, but that's fine since not doing anything makes me neurotic and makes me feel worthless because I should be doing something. The point of this is all this is that if we get any bigger, and judging by the two or three more people and their three to five characters pending, not including mine I will most likely need a Co-GM. If we remain pretty small though then I'll still need a Co-GM who can help keep things in order while I'm away.

The two criteria's for being Co-GM are:
1. Be active, especially when I can't be so availability around 4-8 Pacific time zone would be great. I live in California btw.
2. Be an adequate enough writer with experience in the advanced level and in the superhero story genre's.

With all that said I will most likely be able to get back when I get home tomorrow, or before I leave.
