War, war never changes. Even after humanity blasted its own ashes across the surface of the Earth in the Great War of 2077, its cutthroat ambition did not die down. The year is now 2290, and humanity has once again ended a bloody war. While this war could never come close to the awesome destruction wrought by the atomic fire of the Great War, it nonetheless has ruined lives and changed nations. You must lead your nation through the aftermath of the Hoover War, otherwise known as the Wasteland War, a seemingly futile and meaningless conflict perpetrated by ambitious warmongers and fought by the beaten masses of the Wastes. Will you lead your fair nation to economic and cultural prosperity, or repeat the actions of those before you, seizing that which is rightfully yours with overwhelming strength.
Hey all, this is a Nation RP set in the Fallout universe after the events of New Vegas. In this timeline, the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel intervened in the events of Fallout: New Vegas, taking the side of Caesar’s Legion in an attempt to limit the expansion of the New California Republic. This lead to a much larger-scale war than what we saw in Fallout: New Vegas. The Hoover War brought in all sorts of post-nuclear nations and factions, from Oregon to Pennsylvania and perhaps even beyond. In the end, it all proved to be futile, with the Treaty of Goodsprings leading to no territorial gains for any side and establishing the independent state of New Vegas as the controller of the Hoover Dam.
It has been five years since the Treaty of Goodsprings has been signed, and much has changed for the nations of North America. The five-year peace set by the treaty is up, and while some nations still reel from the Hoover War, others plan campaigns against their neighbors. The First American Convention, an international meeting to discuss the future of the North American continent, is quickly approaching. All notable and civilized nations and factions of North America have been invited to attend, and it is up to everyone’s best guess as to what will come out of this first international meeting since before the Great War.
The first portion of the RP will be held at the American Convention in the dazzling city of New Vegas. Here, your nation will deal with the consequences of the Hoover War, make dealings with like minded nations, or perhaps even truly introduce itself on the international stage for the first time. You have the option of either taking the helm of an established faction (NCR, the Institute, etc.) or making your own nation and fitting them into the RP. If you haven’t played all of the Fallout games (perhaps you’ve only played Fallout 4) and are still interested in joining, that’s completely fine. Just stick to areas you know or look interesting, do a little bit of research on the Wikia, and you’re all set. It should also be noted that things in this RP generally exist on a larger scale when compared to what we see in-game. For example, Caesar’s Legion isn’t just 200 men in funny outfits, it is a full-scale fighting force with supply lines, supporting communities, and the works.
As far as rules are concerned, use common sense and stick to the forum rules. While I’m technically the GM, I plan on letting things play out naturally and keep this a sandbox environment. Try to keep post quality high-casual and up, and if you’re worried a post may go over with the group poorly or touch on some taboo, just ask in the OOC or chat about it first. Just have fun and don’t ruin it for others, pretty much.

History (if using a pre-existing faction, recent history will due): Following the Second Battle of Hoover Dam, the Legion was left in disarray. With Caesar and the Legatus both now dead, they’d lost their commanders and their purpose, and the survivors from the battle fled back to Legion territory piecemeal. Many deserted, some committed ritual suicide out of despair for their failure, and many others split off to reform tribal groups or communities that the Legion had previously smashed and assimilated.
The core of the Legion, Caesar’s most experienced and loyal veterans, remained loyal however and some 5,000 legionaries limped back to Flagstaff to regroup. It was there that a war-council of Caesar’s greatest remaining commanders met to decide who would take up their master’s legacy. After several days of debate, they reached a unanimous decision. Head of the Praetorian Guard Lucius was elevated to the crimson, and was hailed by all as ‘Caesar’. Lucius was the obvious choice to the men present, having been one of Caesar’s closest and most loyal advisors. He was also an adept military commander and veteran soldier, and no-one could doubt his skills as a fighter and leader.
The new Caesar immediately set to work rebuilding the shattered remains of The Legion, and the threat was dire indeed. The NCR began pushing into Legion territory intent on eliminating the remains of The Legion once and for all. Lucius gathered what remained of his military, not even a full strength legion, and marched to face them. Knowing full well he could never defeat the NCR in battle with what few troops he had, Lucius waged a brutal guerilla campaign and pursued a policy of scorched earth. Poisoning wells and desert water sources, burning crops in the path of the NCR, spreading disease, and harassing NCR supply lines whenever possible. Gradually more troops began to fill his ranks as former legionaries and groups that had been separated after the battle of Hoover Dam flocked to Caesar’s banner.
However, all of this wasn’t enough to turn the NCR tide, and eventually they pushed right to Flagstaff, where they captured the city. Lucius had left them little to toast their victory on however, as he’d already burned his own capital to the ground and fouled the vital water supply to the city so as to prevent its use by the thirsty NCR troopers. In addition he’d left a surprise for the NCR soldiery: hundreds of their fellows crucified around the perimeter of the city.
The war raged on following the fall of Flagstaff, and the NCR army chased Lucius from Flagstaff back east, almost to the border of Legion territory. It was there that Caesar Lucius received much needed help from a distinctly unexpected source. The Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel, weary of NCR expansion, mobilized its power armored knights and sent them westwards, plowing straight into the NCR’s expeditionary army with an unexpected violence. Not one to question Mars’ will, Lucius cooperated with his newfound temporary allies and together they pushed the NCR west until they threw them back across the Colorado. It was here that the NCR offered a peace agreement, and Lucius, seeing the tattered state of his army and the tenuous position of his alliance with The Brotherhood, agreed to sign a peace accord. Current borders were agreed to remain static, a ceasefire was declared, and the war ended.
Now Lucius has set his sights on rebuilding the Legion and it to this is the task he’s poured in all his effort for the past five years. He has waged a ceaseless campaign to reconquer Legion territory in Utah and Colorado and shore up the border along Arizona. He’s also ordered countless raids and incursions into nearby unincorporated territories for slaves and wealth and reintegrated errant tribes and splinter factions that had broken off following Hoover Dam.
Unlike his predecessor, the new Caesar prefers to lead from the front: often saddled astride a New Mexican mustang. During a battle he’s usually seen riding up and down the lines, extolling his men to greater acts of bravery and reassuring his men by placing himself where the fighting is thickest so that his men know that their leader is with them. It's a dangerous business, but Lucius is a soldier first and foremost, and Caesar of The Legion second.
After endless campaigns across the south west, The Legion has finally returned to something resembling its former state before Hoover Dam. And it's a good thing too, as the expiration date set on the armistice is coming due any day now, and no-one really knows what that might mean.
Population: Roughly 600,000.
Government/Domestic Politics: The Legion is led and commanded by ‘Caesar’, the mantle of which has now been taken up by Lucius, former head of the old Caesar’s Praetorian guard. He is considered a demi-god of sorts and his will is unquestioned, ruling from a position of absolute power as ‘dictator perpetuo’. The Legion is entirely militaristic and authoritarian, with virtually nothing in the way of representation or democratic ideals. It is, in some sense, an army with a state rather than a state with an army.
Military: The Legion, being particularly militaristic and conquest-centric has an unusually high percentage of its population serving in its armies. With nearly 1 in 4 males serving as soldiers. Which means a total Legion strength of some 75,000 soldiers. With the ability to conscript roughly 25,000 more if the need is very dire. The Legion continues to follow the military traditions of Caesar, and by extension, a tradition loosely based on that of ancient Rome. The Legion’s military structure, organization, logistics, and tactics mirror those of Rome with some obvious adjustments and changes. One notable example includes using multiple lines of battle much like in the polybian system. With the youngest and least experienced recruits heading up the front line, more experienced soldiers following up in the second attack wave (legionary primes) and the hardened legionary veterans acting as a final wave if the first two waves have failed.
Due to the losses suffered at Hoover Dam and the recent campaigning by Lucius. Many of the legionaries are now fresh recruits or only have a few years experience at most. And many of The Legion’s officers lack the knowledge and experience of their predecessors. The days of Caesar’s numberless battle-hardened veterans are over, but those that have spent their years campaigning with Lucius are still a force to be reckoned with.
Economy: The Legion’s economy is still heavily based around slavery and forced labor, the majority of which work in agriculture and industry or in support roles for the Legion’s military. Each contubernia of 8 men in the Legion, for instance, is assigned exactly two support slaves as camp followers. Since Lucius’s changes to the system have come into effect, slavery tends to be less a division between men and women, and more a division of ‘Legion’ and ‘non-Legion’. Lucius’s recent conquests have brought in a glut of fresh slaves to Legion pens and has helped to repair their severely damaged economy, although much work still remains.
The Legion trades odd goods with neighboring peoples, although they’ve yet to establish any kind of official trade network with peoples west of the Colorado for obvious reasons. Although smugglers and independent caravaners do run between both, leading to a sort of ‘unofficial’ exchange of goods between West and East.
Culture and Technology (include views towards slavery and mutants): Slavery is openly practiced, tolerated, and a central part of The Legion’s economic system. Mutants are tolerated insofar as they are of service to the state as slaves. Mutants and ghouls are barred from service in the Legion itself however. Although certain exceptions could potentially be granted.
While much of The Legion’s culture has remained as Edward Sallow left it with Lucius now the new Caesar some important changes have occurred. With regards to technology, Lucius has lessened the strictness of Edward’s previous bans on medical and other such technology that he thought ‘weakened’ the humans that used them. Having been privy to Caesar’s hypocrisy when it came to his own medical needs, Lucius has opted to allow for some medical technology to work its way into Legion life: not seeing it as a betrayal of Caesar’s ideals (or rather justifying it with Caesar’s own example). While recreational chems are still banned and strictly controlled, the use of medical chems has been allowed with some restrictions to prevent overuse and dependence. In addition, The Legion has taken to scavenging medical equipment and items such as auto-docs to help keep their legionaries trim and in fit condition and to lessen the burden on Legion camp surgeons.
The Legion’s views on women have also changed drastically in one important respect, namely that of the “Legion woman”. Legionaries are now allowed to keep wives and have children of their own, a result of Lucius’s own conversion to this most basic idea when he met the woman who is now his wife and close confidant. Legion women, wives and daughters, are not treated or kept as slaves but instead enjoy a position of greater respect than they would have previously under Sallow. While their role is still restricted to that of mother, caretaker, and supporter of their Legionnaire and children, they cannot be touched by any other man and the harshest of punishments exists for those that assault or violate a Legion woman in any way. It is perhaps a small improvement when compared to nations like the NCR who extend full rights to their women, but an improvement never-the-less.
Female, and male as well, slaves are not given the same sort of respect however. And the life of a Legion slave has not changed much since the days of Edward Sallow. Female slaves at least can take some small comfort in knowing that they might now escape their bondage if they catch the eye of a Legionnaire and become his wife.
Religion: The primary religion of The Legion remains the Cult of Mars, the Legion God of War, and Caesar is venerated as a son-of-mars. Effectively making whoever holds the title a demi-god. The cult is organized around various Legion priestesses who tend to the necessary religious rituals of the cult. Each soldier dedicates himself and his kills on the field of battle to the God of War.
Other religions, especially those of tribal cultures, are outlawed and generally purged from The Legion, with one notable exception...
When Lucius was campaigning in Utah, he became quickly infatuated with a recently captured New Canaanite slave named Hannah. Having been unable to have a wife or female companion of any lasting status of his own while he’d been enslaved to Caesar’s will, Lucius found himself taking advantage of his new found authority when he’d declared his marriage to her. A previously unheard of function in The Legion and one which set an important precedent. Hannah, unlike many slaves before her, was not an unwilling partner in this relationship either and found herself smitten by the handsome and intelligent ‘Caesar’ as much as he was with her, and she’d soon agreed to the match despite her initial reservations about becoming what amounted to the Legion’s queen.
Hannah’s presence has been both a calming and changing influence on Lucius’s rule as Caesar. Her words can often temper his rage and stay his brutality as none other can. In addition, she has kept her New Canaanite faith and as a result has influenced her husband into allowing her people’s religion to be tolerated in Legion territories, where it has been slowly, but quite steadily spreading. She has encouraged her husband on several occasions to convert, but Lucius remains unconvinced. He finds the New Canaanite faith intriguing, and indulges his beloved in her lengthy readings from scripture, but remains a steadfast follower of Mars. And provided his Legionaries continue to publicly venerate Mars, he has agreed to turn a blind eye to whatever private worship they or their wives might take up where the faith of New Canaan is concerned.

Territory and Geography: Southern Nevada
History: After the Second Battle for Hoover Dam, Robert House wasted no time in cementing his empire and his legacy. He knew that he would have to prepare for the NCR and Legion (and perhaps others) to return, stronger than before. House was forced to do this alone – The Courier disappeared suddenly, and has not been seen for almost a decade. He has been assumed dead, and has been largely forgotten by the province which he helped save. As a first act of his rule, House dispatched securitrons to virtually every sector of the Mojave to keep surveillance and protection circulating through the region. With the NCR and Legion gone, and raider activity being pummeled by the sheer killing power of the securitrons, the settlements of the Mojave enjoyed their new era, despite the mysterious mastermind behind the sudden change.
Once the security of the Mojave had been achieved, House extended his borders. He unified the settlements of the Mojave as a new nation – the “Free Economic Zone of the Mojave”, an economic empire which is completed by its crown jewel, New Vegas. House then turned to relations with his populace. While he dreaded having to work with the lowly locals, he had to garner support if he was going to survive another Legion invasion. He offered The King a deal he couldn’t refuse – The King would become House’s protégé and instrument in carrying out his future endeavors, and in exchange, The Kings would become a well-equipped police force that would enjoy the benefits that come with having House as a patron. They accepted, and the region started to slowly piece together.
North and South Vegas were rebuilt. As Freeside and Westside offer virtually no residential space and are strictly businesses, the outer reaches of Vegas became needed slices of residence. The farmland north of New Vegas has been restored to provide crops and livestock to the FZM. In addition, Sloan was put back to use by paid laborers to work in the quarry, which was instrumental to the rebuilding of New Vegas. Eventually, the entire city became a bright, shining light—not just the strip—and its residents began to enjoy pre-war living conditions. Those who wanted to escape the shadow of Robert House lived out in the countryside, where many settlements such as Nelson, Goodsprings, Novac, and Nipton enjoy their independence.
Some locations, such as Searchlight and the REPCONN test site, were specifically occupied by Mr. House with purpose of discovery. House has created hundreds of jobs in both facilities, as he hopes to see Searchlight’s mining efforts and REPCONN’s space-travel research find footing under his regime. The development of the high technology sectors comes with establishing testing sites, and these facilities are among House’s first steps in that direction. In addition, a clause in the FZM’s agreement with the Van Graffs involves being given any robotic research found in Big MT, a formality that has greatly assisted Mr. House in bettering his securitrons.
Jacobstown’s mutants relocated to Black Mountain, where they still reside quietly and independently without Tabitha. Dismantling dozens of super mutants from a high-ground base proved to be too tall of a task, so Mr. House simply begrudgingly allowed them to be independent, so long as they did not meddle with House’s affairs. It has now become a known space for unethical dealings (much to the dismay of Marcus, who wants only for it to be a safe haven), as it is the one spot in the Mojave that is completely independent of House’s rule. Mt. Charleston has since been put back to its old use as a high-end ski resort, a favorite of upper-class NCR tourists.
Now, in 2290, the Mojave Desert has been unified (with the town of Caliente marking the top-most point of its territory) with a formidable military and cunning economy. Due to House’s major groundwork, the FZM has become a major contender in the days to come, but sits in an awkward position – the Legion waits anxiously on one side of the Colorado and the NCR’s leadership has been painfully quiet. The Mojave Outpost—now used as a border station—has documented NCR tourist flow, yet Robert House is well aware that the status quo is just the calm before the storm…Alongside this paranoia, the FZM still chugs along, constantly working to improve itself from the inside.
Population: 150,000
Government/Domestic Politics: Robert Edwin House is the president, C.E.O, and sole proprietor of the Free Economic Zone of the Mojave. He physically owns all lands under his banner and if he were invasive enough to police the private lives of his denizens, he would. He is advised by the leaders of each of the three families as well as his personal protégé, The King.
Individual settlements are run by their own respective independent governments, but are kept safe and monitored by the securitrons to ensure lawful rule. Facility-based settlements such as Searchlight, REPCONN, and the New Vegas Farmland are directly overseen by Mr. House.
Black-and-white matters are generally dispatched by the securitrons, but House’s personal police force—The Kings—have been instrumental in the dealings of more complicated conflicts.
Notable People:
Robert Edwin House: Sole leader and visionary of the Free Economic Zone. His unparalleled vision for the future is what has created this economic empire, and he has no intention of resting on his laurels until he has reached the mountaintop. He resides atop the Lucky 38 and only the faithful chosen have had the opportunity to meet him face-to-face.
The King: Now at 45 years of age, The King feels as if he is at risk of failing to leave a true legacy. After Mr. House annexed the Mojave, there was no longer a need for the Kings’ scrappy militia presence. They became irrelevant and confined to their school of impersonation. However, the youthful glow of the ‘greaser culture’ the Kings coveted attracted House’s attention, who armed them, gave them immense amounts of cash, and repurposed to be his personal police force. The King now enjoys his own section of the Lucky 38, where he faithfully (albeit begrudgingly) plans a future with Mr. House.
Cachino/Swank/Marjorie: The leaders of the three families. They have become rich and powerful as New Vegas’ influence spreads and its attractions become larger. The trio have heavy dislike for one another, but all worship the ground Robert House walks on, as doing so showers them in wealth and safety.
Loyal: The current leader of the Boomers, as of Mother Pearl’s death in 2283. The Boomers no longer retain their independent identity, as they have been absorbed by Robert House, but like any human, Loyal is not immune to greed—despite his immensely old age—and enjoys the flow of wealth and quality of life that has sprung from New Vegas and thus abides by House’s orders.
Marcus: The leader of Black Mountain. He has tried desperately to confine his brethren to a small, independent space, but the mutants and nightkin grow restless and Calamity’s attempt to finish her teacher’s work has failed. Marcus can only watch as his men prepare to venture out, which will only end in their people being wiped off the face of the earth by House’s destructive machinations.
Military: The bulk of the FEZM’s military comes from its secutitron forces. House can keep close surveillance on the entire wasteland due to his wandering patrols, and each securitron is so formidable that it would take a distinct cunning to be able to decisively best a squadron of House’s creations. In addition, the FEZM’s military forces are supplemented by the Boomers, who provide artillery fire and occasional air support. The former NCR ranger stations have been repurposed as securitron repair stations, each outfitted with a mechanic and a few soldiers.
Inside of the FZM’s infrastructure there are small militia forces, namely the armed men and women of the settlements and The Kings, but House has attempted in the recent past to create a formal military, without much success. Save for a support-damaging draft, there has not yet been a clear way to get men and women to enlist.
Economy: The FZM’s life cycle is fueled by tourism. While it has an internal, self-sustaining structure, it has become rich and bloated off the money that the NCR’s citizens have poured into it. The population thus fluctuates depending on NCR-recognized holidays. New Vegas is the heart and soul of the province’s economy; a majority of the wealth is flowing in and out of it and to the different settlements of the province.
The FZM would survive if an embargo were to occur. Goodsprings, the Sharecropper Farms, and the New Vegas Farmland all provide a great deal of crops and livestock. Sloan’s efforts provide building materials. New Vegas itself now has a great deal of housing, and House has created enough jobs to give a steady lifestyle to most of the FZM’s population. In addition, Mr. House has the ability to raise a sleeping beast should he call upon the neighboring Van Graffs for aid.
Culture and Technology: The FZM, like pre-war America, is very diverse in lifestyle. Those who gravitate toward the pull of New Vegas’ sprawling urban landscape enjoy a high quality of life, filled with consumerism and leisure. Those who were unable to drastically change lifestyles stick to what they know, and live out in the countryside in the FZM’s various settlements.
House is in the process of creating his own equivalent to the OSI. The Followers of the Apocalypse who did not flee the territory following Hoover Dam II were recruited by Robert House to begin various types of biological research, including medicinal advances and discovery of various nuances to radiation. Technological research is specifically conducted by Robert House, who has put forth an everlasting effort to perfecting his securitrons (a.k.a. turning them into deadlier, more indestructible killing machines than they already are).
The FZM abhors slavery and does not condone its use under any circumstances, but surprisingly has not declared open war on the Legion in an attempt to remain strictly neutral in the coming conflicts. Ghouls are openly allowed to live and participate in the FZM’s dealings and enjoy the same quality of life as any other human. Mutants, on the other hand, have to run through a great many tests to be considered a safe resident of the city of New Vegas. They may freely live throughout the settlements of the wasteland.
Religion: Robert House has no intention of policing the private lives of his subjects. The citizens of the FZM are allowed to practice whatever they please in private, so long as their dealings are law-abiding. Christianity has resurfaced in various parts of the province, and is practiced by occasional families, but church gatherings remain a thing of the old world.

Territory: Big Mtn. is the only geographic area they control entirely. The rest of their numbers are in various weapon stores and armories they have set up throughout the West.
History: The Van Graff corporation was originally a powerful caravan family operating out of Redding. While the Wright family of New Reno trades in drugs and prostitution, the Van Graffs traded in gold and weapons. The Van Graffs were a huge family, and the leadership was all taken by those actually within the bloodline. The entire family was intensely loyal to each other, and at one point the Van Graffs could be considered a nation in their own right, rivaling that of the budding NCR when it was first starting out. However, rather than focusing on Nation Building, the Van Graffs took to focusing on expanding their trade networks and ruthlessly taking out all rival weapons traders that were intending to compete with them in an open market.
As the NCR grew, so did the Van Graffs, but at a far slower rate. The Van Graffs never considered them to be a threat until it was far too late, and at the point where they were outnumbered immensely. As a result of the NCR’s growth, the profit began to decrease immensely as the NCR would often stop their expansion with regulations and taxes, along with laws prohibiting the Van Graffs from legally doing what made them so profitable in the first place, taking out the competition.
Despite this, the Van Graffs maintained their role as one of the largest weapons manufacturing corporations in the entire NCR, rivaled only by the Gun Runners. However, it was far from enough for the Van Graff family, they began expanding into new territories, eventually finding themselves with several stores outside of NCR territory, such as the armory in New Vegas.
Eventually, and perhaps luckily for the Van Graffs, War never changes, and the war for New Vegas began, thus increasing profits tenfold, allowing for further expansion and hiring, as all sides needed more weapons to fuel their war machine. With no regards for the NCR, the Van Graffs even secretly expanded into Legion territory, and began profiting off both the east and the west.
When the need for weapons as a result of the long war began to outnumber their means to produce, the Van Graffs began looking for alternative places to start increasing their manufacturing ability. Eventually, Mr. House informed them of a place called Big Mtn. He revealed to the Van Graffs the manufacturing ability it has, and in exchange for being allowed to occupy it, and be considered sovereign territory from Vegas, the Van Graffs would supply forces when needed and the Mk 6 securitron upgrades to House. The Van Graffs agreed and ordered a large scale invasion of the facility and after a month long invasion, they managed to mostly clear the facility of the few hundred Lobotomites and other deadly robots and creatures. While having heavy casualties, in the end, Big Mtn was ripe for their taking. They surrounded the Think Tank tower that had been entirely locked up during their assault and breached the entrance. When they found themselves face to face with the Think Tank themselves, Gloria Van Graff, rather than ordering to kill them, offered them a deal. Work for the Van Graffs and help bring the facility to an operational capacity and they would be allowed to live and manage the facility further. They accepted.
While it took 5 years, and a huge amount of scientists under the orders of the think tank and men to bring the parts of the facility online that they wanted, and to clear the hold outs of creatures that they had missed in the initial invasion, they finally did it. Now, with the Van Graffs in the strongest position they had ever held, they began producing robot scorpions under the supervision of Dr. Mobius, LAER rifles (which has never been sold on Market before this, and brought in immense profit), and a large amount of other Big MT inventions that the world had never seen (though some technology was never sold, and served only the Van Graffs, for instance the Robot Scorpions were never privately sold, but rather worked as defense for the Van Graffs). The Van Graffs also fitted Big MT with an immense amount of air defenses and land defenses so that the facility could never be taken without a considerable force. Overall, they skyrocketed their power as a the strongest weapons manufacturing company in the west, completely outshining the Gun Runners in profit.
In addition to the new technologies that they were now able to produce and profit off of, with the addition of the Robot scorpions to their army, the Van Graffs also became one of the leading Mercenary groups in the west as they took their shot at the “private army” market. Hoping to profit further off a possible upcoming war by being hired by the NCR or Vegas to assist in the war.
Population: 15,000 Employees
Government/Domestic Politics: All run by the the Van Graff executives. No formal governments, works more as a company, with regional managers that report directly to the Van Graff executives.
Notable People: Gloria Van Graff, Salvatore Van Graff, the Think Tank, Dr. Mobius
Military (try to be somewhat realistic): 5,500 Security Forces. 120 Robot Scorpions.
Economy: Weapons and Technology Manufacturing. Also, now working into the “Private Army” industry.
Culture and Technology: High level of technology. As a corporation, they have no distinct “Culture”. Employees are allowed to follow whatever religion they please so long as it does not conflict with the direct orders of the Van Graff Family.

Certainly a valid question, as my commitment to RPs on this site has been inexcusably poor. I promise you that I will try my hardest to actually produce material and not get hung up on unnecessary details while making my sheet (my biggest issue with participation, I believe).
I'd like to reserve Australia, if I may. I was going to go for Sweden, but I believe someone else was planning on making a sheet for them, correct? Also, please don't wait on my Sheet at all, I'd rather be a late entry than a hindrance of any sort.
I do have a question, though. I've seen a couple of people mention changing the result of their nation's election before the 1953 start date, is this allowed? From what I gathered, the first post made mention of no deviation pre-1953, but a few posts suggest otherwise. I'd like a change in election results for Australia, but it's certainly not paramount.
Despite the fact that I'm having a bit of trouble thinking up an engaging and relevant faction (my fault, not the premise's) I'm certainly interested in participating in this RP. I like the idea of a nation RP which provides the participants with a blank slate but still stays relatively down-to-earth. The backstory which you have provided is also rather interesting, to boot.
Anyway, I'm certainly interested. I'll probably just end up doing something dystopian with eugenics and government oppression.

Though you certainly don't need my permission, considering the fact that I don't believe I ever submitted my Sheet, I wouldn't lose any sleep over the retcon of anything related to what I had planned for India (and by extension Tibet). So yeah, feel free to rearrange the subcontinent in whichever way you guys want.
Anyway, I'm glad to see that this was rebooted. I took a break from RPing shortly before the previous rendition of this RP started up I believe, and would like to actually have a go at it in earnest this time. If I may, I'd like to reserve Australia for myself until I can furnish a proper sheet. (Unless more paramount spots need to be filled for the sake of the RP, in which case I'd switch without too much grumbling)
