"No, I ain't letting you die, not by a longshot," Ray smirked. "And if you try, then I'm doing this!" Ray reached under Illi's armpits and started tickling her.
"Okay, I don't want you dying on me one of these days," Ray patted Illi's head gently, he knew he was just trying to look out for her, even if he wasn't her parents (who pretty much didn't care about her), he was pretty much like her guardian. Ray reached out to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Ugh, Illi, you know those are bad for you, when are you going to quit?" Ray grumbled, clearly annoyed while waving the smoke out of his face.
"Yeah, I just might need to disinfect it when I get home." Ray sat beside Illi, their knees touching.
Ray followed her lead, smiling at her eagerness, but still wincing slightly from the sharp pain on his leg.
Ray considered the idea for a moment, he knew Illi still needed to study but he was also kinda curious over why she wanted to skip class. "Fine, but only this once."
"Yeah?" Ray asked.
Ray craned his neck slightly and really looked at Illi, she was beautiful, in so many ways and not just for her looks, but her personality, almost everything.
Ray's brow furrowed slightly. "Well, hey, don't pay attention to them, even if we don't make it, we have each other. That's the one thing that matters."
