This story takes place right after the French Wars on Religion ended, in 1598, the students' requirements are that they must be between 13-19 years old, you can make your character gender-fluid, non-binary, or homosexual (or any other sexuality) as long as it's closeted, since most of the families your characters will come from are either a Catholic family, a Calvinist Huguenot family or a Protestant family.
