Oh, I incorporated pay in the soldier's overall upkeep. For example, the Huskarl's armament upkeep adds up to 4 (2 for his axe, two for his mail) but I wrote 5 to account for pay. Also, they are indeed raised.

So you did. I was living in a past life, where javelins cost 4 upkeep, and Greataxes 3.

I'm going to get some coffee. Damn night shifts. And in case it got lost, you are indeed accepted.

Also, those names! Let me see. . . without wikipedia, Jorvik is the Norse name for the county of York, Dyflinn is Dublin, Sudreyar is the petty kingdom that used to rule over parts of Ireland and Scotland. . . the others escape me.

Oh, yes, barding is. I used to work with horses.

I'll add that in the next update.

You're good on all things, except that you forgot to add the 1 bulli pay for each soldier to the upkeep. If you're starting with all those men raised, then you'll need to take out a loan before the year's out.

Anywho! Adding you to the accepted list.
Again, Toaw is on the ball. You can only take one border Concern, but literally all the players could take the same one, if they felt like it. I assume Barding is another word for horse armour?

@ Monbodo: There certainly is!

@ Outcast: This music:

It's easy to imagine standing outside Giant's Bane, watching over your cattle in the mid-day, all the hard work of the day completed, with a precious moment of time to admire the boreal beauty of a homeland so easy to take for granted.

Flooby, is it all right if I redo my nation sheet? I have come to really dislike it, and I want to change pretty much everything about it.

Hah, so long as the RP hasn't started, you can change as much as you want.
@ Outcast: Gave you a nicer check. You're two points over, but your receipts are good. I'm surprised nobody's screwed those up in a major way.

Hey there! Love the amount of detail that has gone into this world. Needless to say I'm interested. However, I can't seem to find where the points are listed for each customization, and what exactly I can do to each fief and the province as a whole. Is there any place I can go to see these?

Thank you! Titanic and Toaw 'gotcha covered.

@ So Boerd: That'll work just fine, go right ahead.

@ Outcast: I've triple-counted it, and each time I've come up with a different result, so I think I'm not qualified to do math until tomorrow morning, but I'll check that shit out then.

@ Titanic: You're good, now. Adding you to the accepted list.

That reminds me, how will time be working in this RP?

Working on it, but the general idea is that each round of posting will be either 1 season or 2 weeks within a season. The exact amount of hours is presented to avoid arguments.

"There's no way they could have reached that place in time! My horsemen are wayyy fasterer!"

"Nuh uh! My men are soft, and fluffy, and therefore can traverse 10 provinces, stop in a tavern for the night to fuck five wenches each, and still make it to Floobyshire with a season to spare!"

And VoiD, double checked, and you still have 1 point to spend. I suspect it's from the town: town's start with 1,000 people. It would only take 2 points to upgrade it to a pop. of 3,000. Other than that, you're good. Adding you to the accepted list.

EDIT: Thinking of calling everyone's kingdom 'Lands of House So-and-So.' It would fit into the theme well. Objections?

@ Titanic: I count 74 points. With the March of Mishfarden, you should have 76 (60+16=76). You listed just 'Bailey' as a castle option in a number of provinces, but counted it for 2 points. Does this mean you want both bailey types? Otherwise, you're receipts are good, but let me double-check them.

EDIT, the REDUX: Yup, your receipts are good. I assume your decreased treasury is your factoring in for vassals? No need to do that yet, since they haven't been assigned to you, but you can keep it like that for now. Just fix the point value thing, and you're accepted.

@ Toaw: Congrats on being the first perfect sheet. Adding you to the accepted list. Put your name down as Lands of House Montague. Now I'm considering doing that for everyone. Would make a great deal of sense, wouldn't it?

@ Mouseking: Your sheet's just about perfect. Would you like your fiefs to not have names, or simply be referred to as 'the first fief of King Maxwell,' or something akin? That's doable. Otherwise, names would help identify the specific fiefs. As well, you still don't need to pay upkeep and pay just yet, only the arming cost. Other than that, it looks great, and I love the Russian theme!

@ Outcast: Darling, your sheet is darling. You're 4 points over by my count, but it's still a WIP, of course.

Working on vassals as we speak. I must say, the dice Gods have a delightful sense of humour. Again, vassals and all necessary details about their function will be out both today and tomorrow. The complete list of in-game Actions should be done this Tuesday. Work is swallowing up a lot of my time, unfortunately.

On a lesser note, I've decided to drop the upkeep of slings to 0. I'd have to re-upload the whole pdf onto google drive just to mention that, so I'll add it in to the next update.

Flooby I'm counting 60 points spent on my NS, unless I'm missing something?

All your points are spent, and your receipts are correct. When you finish your royal family (unless you don't want any family members or courtiers), I'll add you to the accepted kingdoms list, and send you a vassal report.

Hmm, I double checked. I actually forgot some things, which makes it a bit more expensive. However, my spreadsheet seems to say that the cost is correct now though. I'm going to check one more time. Would you mind crunching the numbers again for my equipment?Edit: Ahh, kk. That 1 point. I'll go change everything back.

As said in the post above the one you just posted, forget that point, you spent 60 (unless you just edited it in).

Your equipment is now a-okay. I'm adding you to the accepted kingdom's list. Your steward (you have one of those, now that you're a king) will be handing you a report on your vassals, and other affairs of your land. Perhaps not tonight, since it's 2am here, but tomorrow certainly.

Oh ok, I'm slightly more scared now, but I will stand my ground, and hide within my walls. That is what any good ruler would do right?

It would be historically accurate.

On that note, you may consider dropping the sling maintenance, since it's a piece of cloth that throws rocks you can find on the ground lol. It's the poor man's weapon.

Slings can throw stones, but the good ones are made to throw bullets. They were often preferable to bows due to the cost of arrows. But I suppose you're right. I'll debate whether to reduce it to 1 or cancel the upkeep altogether.

@ jiwon: Nevermind on that unspent point, but my arming calculations come to the same conclusion.
