When we joined Spam, we took an oath!
According to our station! All without exception!
On the blood of our fathers, on the blood of our sons, we swore to uphold Spam!
Even to our dying breath!
Those who would break this oath are heretics! Worthy of neither pity nor mercy!
We shall grind them into dust!
And continue our march to glorious salvation!
^ I agree, I do like this set up a bit better. However, I think it'd be better to actually bar people in the RP from voting in the 'elections' - instead, invite people that aren't involved to come in, review all the applicants, and decide of their own accord as the citizens of the US. That way it would open it up for a little 'ooc rp' where various IC politicians may try to persuade the voters.

But again, and as is the case with Gunther, I'm much too busy to even join this RP, let alone run it.

It's come to my attention that no ones posted for our area (Fortune, Shelton, Random guy I keep forgetting, and...I believe Annabeth...?) We're not waiting on me are we? If so my bad lol Just let me know and I can get a post up during class today ^_^

Last Cougar Rock post was mine I believe. A Chris/Claire post wouldn't hurt, but I think we're all jus waiting on either the NPC bandits to respond to Jack, or for the other group (James, Shelton, Shan) to enter the scene.
Nat is actually named after the emote, not the other way around

We should just all end up attacking the bandit camp at once, argue over who gets the supplies, then end up becoming friends and agreeing to split it evenly and head out together as group. That'd be cool. It'd be a pilot episode of sorts for the rest of the RP.

Sounds good.
I agree, i think it'd make the Tindrel race more appealing and (as Catharyn pointed out) more choices. I'm just wondering if organizations such as the New Collective and HiveTank (more pacifist organizations it seems) would want to be lumped in with the Liberation Front and the Black Carapace? Though their goals seem to be the same, the way they go about it varies completely and it makes me wonder if someone in the New Collective would even support the practices of the Black Carapace?

Wow
I've found that I end up putting "high casual" somewhere in nearly all of the RPs I run as GM, and for me it's to determine depth rather than length - and (as others have said in this thread) to open up Casual players to what is, pretty much, an Advanced RP. The thing is, I hate setting up "minimum post lengths" above a paragraph or two, because often times I'm busy and will break my own rule. However, what I require in all of the things I GM is depth of Character and Plot. I'd prefer two well thought-out, story-driving paragraphs over ten paragraphs of 'fluff'. High Casual (for me) also implies that some may want (and are encouraged) to write five or six or seven paragraphs in a post, and can, while others can write a consistent (meaningful) two paragraphs, and both can be accepted just the same.
