The little dragon blew everyone away and Harper stared on with wide eyes.

It looked as if everyone was alright, but then Inadi began yelling and the boy hopped to his feet, unsure of what to say or do. Riley wanted to help out as well but before she could scold the dragon or make her way towards her fellow writer, Jasper saved the day and patched him up.

Harper let out a relieved sigh, "great job Jasper! Inadi how are you holding up?"

"Wohoo! Way to go!" The redhead gave the healer two thumbs up then squinted her eyes at the dragon. "You cheeky little brat, you're lucky most of us are nice people." Hakuren began giving his speech but Riley was too focused on making silly faces. Thankfully, Citrus chose to ignore her.

"I'd hate to interrupt your rest, but Hakuren is right. It'd be best if we got this over with before the parents come back." The thought of giant fluff dragons wasn't exactly horrifying, but if the baby could send three people flying with just a few words, who knew what the parents were capable of? Perhaps it'd summon lightning out of the sky then make it rain fire. Just thinking about it made him feel uneasy. Harper agreed with Hakuren's plan but he didn't really think making Inadi a chicken would work, though he had to agree, the dragon seemed to dislike his friend a lot.

"Maybe we can tell it a story--" Harper froze when the dragon began to squeak. Its cloud ears began twitching and without further notice it dove back into the deeper portion of the cave and vanished into the darkness. "What was that about?"

They heard the sound of footsteps followed by voices. "I told you Melissa! I sensed a cloud dragon here and my intuition is never wrong."

"Now, now, Rianon, last time you said we'd find a magma slug at Mt. Pyre, we never did." There was shrill laugh followed by even more footsteps. Whoever was outside was getting closer and closer. They sounded like old women, why would a dragon be scared of them?

Serenade froze, those voices, any sensible guide would be able to recognize them. "Hide, now." It wasn't a suggestion, it was a command.

Welcome back Kei-chan ^^

Sorry about that Pach, I saw it but didn't have Lucien react because he was freaking out over losing control of the cat Trixie was riding ^^ but it's fixed~!

Have fun, Kathi-chan :D! Oh and Pach, once again, sorry about leaving the dream eater in your hands >w< and thank you.

???

The dream eater relished in their agony. It gloated and laughed, only to be taken off guard by a spark of electricity.

It spun around, eye's locked onto Moira's great sword. Oddly, it had grinned before it was sent flying back into a tower of cogs and gears. That hit had actually hurt a little...whoever this woman was, she would pay. The black ooze seeped back into itself, the creature slowly turning into a broken and bloodied version of Sonny.

"Mum, why?" He emerged from the clock tower, hacking and coughing. He was a garbled mess of missing eyes and twisted limbs. "Make the pain stop, mum!" He sounded and looked exactly like Moira's son. The dream eater's head spun a good 360 degrees before he morphed into a black bird and soared high above them and out of reach. The eerie sound of laughter filled the air and the crow focused its eyes on the matter artist. "I've only just began, boy!"

Black goop pooled around Dylan's feet. The ooze began to take shape and before he knew it Tobias was yanking onto his arms and restraining him. "Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, bad people like us never deserve happy endings." He leaned close to the man's ear and let out a sigh. "You and I are very much alike, birds of a feather flock together after all." Tobias began pushing him towards the edge and somewhere across the battlefield, children with branches for arms began crowding around Syed.

"Teacher!" They wailed, "we trusted you, why didn't you save us? Why couldn't you save us?" They all began to scream and cry.

The dream eater landed on a tower high above them, morphing back into Dr. Dream. The man gave them all what looked like a friendly smile, "enough fun and games, let's end this." Giant crows filled the air, flapping their wings and soaring around chaotically in an attempt to knock the guilders into the abyss below.

As soon as the platforms began to spin, Lucien lost all concentration. The summoner's eyes went wide...Trixie had been on his cat.

The feline was now racing from cog to gear, hissing at everything that scared it and running in an unpredictable pattern. The summoner closed his eyes and tried to get a grip on the creature. He managed to, and instead of leaping into the abyss below the cat crashed into a floating rectangle then vanished into a puff of smoke. "Kid!" He let out a relieved sigh, gave Estelle a quick thumbs up then rushed to the edge of the platform. Aria and Lute had joined them as well, thankfully they both looked alright. "Are you okay--" the platform shook once more and out of the corner of his eyes he saw Selan falling.

"This way!" Atlas would vanish only to appear on another cog. He was light on his feet, until the cogs began falling. He leaped onto a bigger platform and stared helplessly as the girls began falling even lower. The platforms they were on drifted apart and Lisette fell right out of the sky.

"Are you okay?" Xan reached out to grabbed Lisette by the arm and helped steady the girl, everything was unstable and a single step could lead to their demise. A giant crow flew past, the wind knocking their platform back and more and more crows were appearing out of thin air. They couldn't stay here. "We'll have to keep moving." Xan muttered before carefully leaping onto another cog. A giant crow sailed past and she ducked, thankfully it hadn't seen her. Judging by the mad laughter coming from above, Xan could only guess that all hell was breaking lose.

There was a flash of white and she watched as Selan fell onto one of the floating cubes. "Selan--!" Before she could say more there was a gust of air. The girl looked up to see Lucien flailing as he fell through the air, there wasn't enough time to even yell.

The summoner crashed into her and both plummeted into the darkness below.
The mini pride members are so squishable <3

I'll go work on a post ^^

Edit: Posted, and since I'll be gone from tomorrow till the first I decided to take Lucien and Xan out of the picture for now. Hopefully this way, they won't wind up burdening anyone ^^
Thanks for sending in questions, Phones~!

Also, that song ;A; the guitar sounds so pretty and the lyrics, for something upbeat, this is really sad.

Kathi-chan, Kei-chan, I don't want to keep you guys waiting, so feel free to answer the individual questions ahead, we can work on the group ones together or if you don't mind waiting we can get to work on it when I get back >-< I'll return on the afternoon of June 1st.
Posted (^w^)/

Nolan is at the marketplace, if anyone wants someone to interact with, feel free to bump into him. The poor guy needs help with that sack of beans xD

Edit: Just a heads up, Captain. I'll be gone starting tomorrow afternoon and will be back on the evening of June 1st. ^^
Two Weeks Ago: Just outside The Anchor

"I can't believe you're doing this Nolan, I always thought you were the responsible type." Annie let out an indignant huff before wagging a finger in front of Nolan's face. "And what if something goes wrong out there? You're a cook for crying out loud, not a pirate, so what then?"

Nolan's shoulders drooped and he rushed forward to put a finger on Annie's lips, this made the girl quiet down but also sent her into an angry fit. "I worry about you Nolan! You goshdarn know I do." Annie folded her hands over her chest and gave him one of the iciest glares he had ever seen. A chill ran down his spine, but seeing her so upset was actually kind of amusing.

The man made the mistake of laughing at her and before he knew it he was shoved back. "You can be so feisty Annie," his voice was gentle and he was smiling kindly. "One of the reasons I can't stop liking you," a silly grin lit up Nolan's face and Annie actually quieted down. "I'll be alright, it'll only be for a little while," the man thought about the sea, and suddenly it seemed as if he were a thousand miles away. "I just have to see what's out there before I settle down, but it won't be the life for me. I have The Anchor to look after and I have you to come back to." He grabbed her by the hands and clasped them between his own.

"Fine," Annie looked away, "you always did love the ocean," and before Nolan could say more she gave him a peck on the cheek, the gentle giant pretty much melted on the inside. "As long as you promise to stay safe," the girl pulled away, her fiery side once again showing. "If anything happens to you, I swear to God I will hunt down that captain of yours and skin her alive!"

The man backed up against the wooden post of the tavern called The Anchor and crossed his heart. "Aye, aye, my lady. I'll stay safe and come on Annie, don't pull the kid into this, okay?" He gave her a pat on the head and the woman grinned. Yes, everything would be fine now. He never thought he would get the chance to go sail the seas, let alone become a pirate, however, that all changed when Runali Lev walked into The Anchor to order a meal. Nolan wondered what a young girl like her was doing dressed up as a pirate and she told him about the StarDusk ship and her need for a crew. Without thinking twice, he blabbered about his dream of sailing the seas and she invited him to join her.

It was as simple as that and even now, he still couldn't believe it.

The Marketplace

Those pirates sure had large appetites.

Nolan walked through the bustling streets, several paper bags cradled in his arms. While the others looked around the city, he decided it would be wise to stock up on supplies and cooking ingredients. most importantly, fruits and vegetables. "Maybe tonight I should cook some roast chicken with mashed potatoes," he lit up at the thought. Nolan rarely met anyone who didn't enjoy his cooking, it was his passion and his talent and it showed in the food's texture and flavor. He cooked with love darn it, and he'd make sure those pirates enjoyed their greens.

"Good day!" The man hopped forward and stared at the onions and beans scattered across the table. "How much are you selling those for, ma'am?"

The old lady gave him a smile. "15 silver coins for that sack of beans over there,"

"Really?" The man lit up and began looking through his bad for the money. He payed the old woman and thanked her then came to a sudden realization. There was no way he'd be able to carry everything back to the ship, well not on his own. He could see Annie laughing at his pain, gah! Nolan awkwardly began dragging the giant sack of beans along, hoping that he'd run into one of his crew mates?
Arrrr! It's good ta meet the rest of the crew. Top of the mornin' to ya, mateys.

Hehe, my character sheet is up as well :D I hope you're all having a swell day~!

Name: Nolan Fischer
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance:

A tall fellow of 6'2, at first glance Nolan could look intimidating. However, due to his warm smiles, he does not. Nolan is almost always smiling, and they're a tad too big for his face, making him seem like a gentle giant. Nolan has somewhat messy sandy brown hair and while he does his best to appear neat and tidy they almost always seem to stick up at the corners. The man's eyes are a light blue and are what most people call expressive. Nolan believes that the clothes do make the man and as result is mostly in ironed down long sleeved shirts, dark pantaloons and boots. He often wears a vest over his shirt, just to add a pinch of fancy. He wears his symbol as a pin on top of his vest pocket.

Position: The cook

Personality:

Hardworking and determined. Most think of Nolan as an ideal worker, he does what he has to do efficiently and with a smile. He's generally a nice guy who dreams big. However, he isn't a wide-eyed idealist and knows that one must work hard to get somewhere in life. The man practical and has a good head on his shoulders. Nolan is the sort of guy who would rather talk things out than butt heads with others. Most of the time, he tries to be the voice of reason that keeps people out of trouble.

Aside from being a peacekeeper Nolan is what most people call a gentle giant. He almost always has a smile on his face and can be a pretty chipper guy. He's the kind who tries not to complain to much, the sort of person who makes apple juice when life gives him lemons. He's a fun guy to be around when you're down in the dumps and while he won't do silly dances to make you feel better, he'll offer you a shoulder to lean on and maybe tell some jokes. Nolan looks out for the people who are important to him and tends to fuss over them when things go wrong. He's a mother duck kind of guy who worries about the silliest things. If you haven't had your lunch or if you've recently scraped your knee, expect this man to hover over you with creased eyebrows and a few soft-spoken retorts.

He tries not to worry, but can't help it. He's extremely protective over those who are younger than him and will make sure they are doing alright. He's pretty friendly but if you do something to get on his bad side expect some retorts or the cold shoulder.

Special Skill:

Nolan is a great cook, but fried calamari and salmon soup aside, he's pretty good with a gun and has an aim worth vouching for. The man is a bit clumsy on his feet, so don't expect him to do anything great with a sword, but lifting boxes and working on a vineyard during the earlier part of his life has given him stamina. Nolan can throw a very good punch though he has had no martial arts training whatsoever. His main skills are his strength and his exceptional aim.

History:

The son of Maria and Caleb Fischer, Nolan's parents own a vineyard and a run a small tavern by one of the ports. Their tavern is call The Anchor and there they serve meals and sell their homemade wine. His dad works as a waiter and the cashier while his mother was in charge of all things food related. The business has provided for them for many years and has been their main source of income.

Nolan is the oldest child, and has a sister who was born three years after and a brother who was born seven years after he was. He adores both his younger siblings and is very close to them. All three of them grew up in their little house (their house is on the second floor of the tavern) by the port and somewhere along the way Nolan fell in love with the sea. He would help pirates load their ship with cargo and would sometimes borrow tiny fishing boats so he could fish out in deeper waters.

Everything about the ocean fascinated him and lured him in like a siren would an unsuspecting sailor.

However, he knew the life of a pirate wouldn't be the kind of life for him. Someone would have to take over The Anchor and as the oldest son, it would have to be him. Aside from that Nolan also met the love of his life by the port, a spunky girl named Annie who ran the bakery nearby. As much as he wanted to sail the seven seas, he also had a life he didn't want to give up. He thought things through for several months before finally making a decision.

Nolan would see the world and sail the seas then he'd come back, marry Annie and give up on the ocean for good.

Why did you become a pirate:

He joined the StarDusk pirates to fulfill his dream of travelling the world and sailing the seas. He hopes that if he goes to see what's out there his silly fantasies will quiet down and he can live a simple life by the port, one that will hopefully make his parents and Annie proud.
