On a more serious note, Leon has really fallen behind. It's been more than two weeks since a post from Oblivion and there hasn't been a single heads up on the OOC. Oblivion, in your PM you told me that you were no longer sure what you wanted to do with him, and to be honest, neither am I. He's missed so many opportunities to build relationships. Not just now, but during the previous chapters as well. During the Siren's Song the only memorable thing he did was drop a rock on his own foot and during the dragon chapter he was only around for the orc fight. We could work stuff out, but he'd have to take opportunities given to him and if you continue to post inconsistently, he'll miss those opportunities and that's that.
We could try to work it out, but problem is you'll be disappearing for a month again in a few weeks? If Leon had built relationships before that, it wouldn't be problematic, but you haven't been around much to begin with. If you want to remain in the RP I'm giving you one last shot to post consistently. I want to see a post before the 23rd and consistent posting after that. If there isn't one, then I'm sorry, you're out of the RP. If that happens then Leon will be under my care, and I'll write both him and Haku out of the RP at the end of the chapter. If you leave, this'll actually be the best moment for it.
Don't get me wrong, Leon is great and I really looked forward to seeing him interact with both Martini and Lesley, but to be honest, I don't think you have the time for this RP. It's a bit speedy and you've missed so much already. I fear if you stay, I'll simply continue to usher Leon along and that's not exactly pleasant :/ I hope you understand.

It totally isn't haunted. There definitely aren't any dead bodies hidden in the basement.

Riley and Leila are gonna be at the library and Harper's gonna check out the kitchen, though I could have him head to the basement with someone, or anywhere, the place has an attic too. Feel free to drag the poor guy along, since for the next few cycles anything goes. If you guys wanna find a secret room, you can totally go for it, just don't make up things that we have to battle.
Also, since we're moving around in small groups, feel free to post more than usual. Of course, the minimum is still once in three days, that way no one ends up keeping their partner or partners waiting for too long.
You'll each be getting a surprise depending on where you go, and in around 3 cycles we'll regroup.

The Coral Pearl
Ray's quick thinking and initiative helped Nolan keep himself calm. It was reassuring to know that some of the people were experienced and knew what they were doing. He turned to look Danni and gave her a reassuring smile, but before he knew it the girl left her own canon and began making her way towards the other ship. "Hey, be careful!" He knew Kai, Luro, and Ray could handle themselves, but the girl was even smaller than the captain and his older brother instincts began kicking in.
Nolan let out a sigh before a steely look crossed his face. He began loading the canons. "Firing in three--captain you might want to stand back a little." He aimed at the approaching ship. Kai was handling more than a handful of angry men on the deck while Luro began making his way below deck.
The cook aimed the canon at one of the more crowded parts on the deck and fired. It caused some of the slavers to fall overboard and a few that had approached his friends backed off. None of them wanted to get their heads blown off. He fired another round then moved away from the canon when he heard yells and the sound of thudding steps. A few of the slavers had actually managed to get on board. The captain was handling them, but she was injured and he didn't want her to push herself. "Captain! I'm coming." With a war cry that sounded rather silly he picked up a mop and charged straight at one of the slavers.
Nolan was in now way skilled with a weapon, but a man of 6'3 running at breakneck speed was a force to be reckoned with. He slammed the mop's handle right into the man's stomach and he let out a yelp before he fell overboard with a loud splash. Most of the slavers were focusing on Kai and the others who had ran onto the next ship so it was rather peaceful on the coral pearl. The cook peered over the railing only to see one of the slaves clinging to their ship.
His eyes widened. "Hang on! I'll get you something to grab onto." Nolan disappeared only to return with a flotation device attached to a rope. He tossed it down then motioned for Marcos to grab onto it. The man pulled his rifle out from its holster then began aiming at the enemy. He managed to shoot at two but made sure he only shot them in the leg. "Hurry, grab onto the rope!" Next to the railings they were pretty much exposed.
