Oh okay ^^ have you tried it Capitan?

And it's fine ^^ thanks for the heads up Kei-chan. Being grounded defo sucks D: and I think all, if not most of us, know from first hand experience. Aki has the right idea xD best of luck! *Cheers*
You can do either :D though if you PM me, you might want to mention you did so here, since it's kind of hard to keep track of PMs with just the number thing. Also, Night? Were you the one who played Van in Embers or are you another Night?
Alrighty Capitan~! And good point, Danny better be careful 8D
Very punny Pach xD

Ugh, being grounded always sucks >-<)/ best of luck Kei-chan!
Yush ^^ I have the pages saved too~

Why, what's up Capitan?
Thanks for the interest :D

By different, I mean I don't want the characters to overlap too much. Example, if we already have a snarky doctor then I don't want another. I hope this answered your question :D and sorry if there are typos, I'm currently on my phone.
Yush 8D it's up to you guys to go for it~
Good mornight to you :D! The Midnight Train has been chugging along for almost a year now, but recently we lost a couple of players and are looking for a few new ones to liven things up and fill the void. The first two chapters of the roleplay have been lost during the guildfall but if you're interested then I can bring you up to speed and summarize the events. However, while knowledge of past chapters would be helpful, it will not be necessary. We are currently nearing the end of the fourth chapter, and are looking for 1-2 people to hop in when the fifth chapter begins.

We'll get to the interesting part soon enough, but for now here is what I will be expecting from interested RPers.

+ I expect a minimum of three good paragraphs.

+ We are looking for communicative players who do not shy away from OOC discussion or chatter. Communication keeps a RP alive, so if you'd rather not toss in your own ideas or help us out with plans then this is NOT the RP for you.

+ We have something called the three day rule, and we take this very seriously. If you wish to join us, you must be capable of posting at least once ever three days [Example: If I post on the first of September, I will post again on the 4th and you better have a post up by then.]

+We also have something called the warning system. If you miss a cycle without telling us on the OOC, you will get a warning and if you get three of these warnings, you will be booted out of the RP. We value consistency and dedication, so if you'll be busy or away for some time please tell us in advance.

Andddd now to the interesting part ^^!

Have you heard the rumors about the midnight train?

You haven't? That's a pity, why don't you take a seat then, friend? I'll tell you all about the midnight train to Nowhere.

People say that once a year on New Year's eve an odd train of fleeting stars and neon lights rolls into the station. They say that if you see the midnight train, you'll find whatever you're wishing for inside it. All you have to do is believe, toss logic to the wind, and hop aboard. It sounds simple enough, appealing as well, but just not believable, don't you agree? They say the train is full of quirky passengers that aren't even human. I've heard of rabbits with rifles, mermaids with voices as heavenly as harps, and of mice who sing and ask for spare change. It almost sounds like a wonderland made by some bored kid, eh? I don't really believe it, but I won't judge you if you do. Still, the thought of getting what you wish for without losing so much as a penny is just great, right kid?

They say that people are lured into the train by what they wish for the most and that those who do get on the midnight train are whisked away to a world unlike our own, to a place called Nowhere. They say that in Nowhere the buildings stretch infinitely towards the construction paper night. They say Nowhere is supposed to be some magical place. A place where trains zip through the sky at the speed of light. They say the trains in Nowhere are so fast that each time one goes by, lightning flashes through the sky.

It's an interesting rumor, I'll have to admit that, but the existence of a place called Nowhere...it's rather silly, kid.

Despite how weird it is, I'll have to give it credit. That rumor has been spreading like wildfire for the past three years, and it gets worse when New Year is just around the corner. From time to time people have claimed to have seen the strange train, but I'm not sure I believe them. The local comedian who lives down the street said that last year he went to the station at midnight with his girlfriend. He's usually telling tall tales to get attention, but when he told us his story he actually looked afraid and a part of me just wanted to believe him. The logical side told me it was just some sort of hoax though and well, you know what they say, right? To see is to believe.

He told us that the train had arrived at exactly midnight and that it was different from all the other trains. He said he saw a rabbit inside, and that it was using a laptop of sorts, in fact he said he caught a glimpse of the passengers and that none of them were normal. We asked him for proof, like a photo or something but he said he was too scared to think straight and that he immediately grabbed his girlfriend by the hand and ran out without so much as looking back. I wonder if such an unbelievable tale can be true. I called him a liar and he got all flustered, in fact he started sputtering challenges and I couldn't stop myself from smirking. The idiot turned an even darker shade of red and I forgot what happened next but he dared me to see it for myself, on New Year's eve.

I don't have time for silly shenanigans, I've got a job after all and a family to look after. What's that kid? You're gonna check it out for me and take a picture? Eh, don't get your hopes too high, I doubt you'll see anything special. Fine, fine, if you insist. Just take care of yourself, okay? It can be dangerous out at night so bring a friend or two. Oh yeah, don't forget, send my regards to the midnight train that leads to Nowhere.
I will be picking 1-2 people. This will not be first come first serve, and people will be judged by their character sheets. The more unique your character, the higher the chance of you being accepted :) though by unique I mean different from the main cast. I do not want Mary Sues or Gary Sues. Just give me something different :D! If you have any questions or concerns, toss them at me and I'll be happy to help (^w^)/

Harper tapped Lesley on the shoulder and gave the man a smile, "who knows, maybe we'll get our wishes when we finish this list."

He gave them all a smile. "I mean, whales can fly here, so having our wishes granted it doesn't sound very far-fetched. Soon, you'll be with Rosen and Lesley, you'll be living the dream at your art school. We just need to keep at this." Harper paced around the room and gave Leon a nod. "And what better way to find yourself than go on a crazy quest filled with unbelievable things, right?"

Leon arched an eyebrow at boy. "Never thought you were an optimist, but not like we have much of a choice." He began yanking cabinet doors open and scrunched his nose in distaste. Everything was so dusty and it didn't smell pleasant either. "So Lesley, do you paint?" Leon's eyes lit up a little, "or are you into designing things like maybe houses, or..." He made his way towards the man, "perhaps clothes?"

Jasper mentioned finding a sword and Harper turned around to face her. "Hmm, it doesn't look like a special witch slaying sword but it is Nowhere." He gave her a smile, "so the sword could be anything--" before Harper could finish his sentence, the temperature in the room dropped and he saw a black outline dance across the mirror. "Avian? Did you see that?" The boy made his way towards the mirror, his eyes flitted to his reflection and it gave him a sinister smile.

Harper nearly stumbled back as the mirror suddenly shattered. The bugs inside their lamps began to go crazy before the house shook with a loud and terrifying creak. "Out now!" He saw shadowy fingers claw at the air before every single jar in the room shattered.

There was total darkness.

"Avian?" Leon practically pulled Lesley into a death hug. "Is this you?" The boy began shaking Lesley around, mistaking him for the solider. "Oh God, Avian...what do we do, is there some special protocol for times like this?"

Harper crashed into one of the cabinets, the soft glow of his amulet the only thing he could see. They had to leave now, before he found them. "Guys, we need to get out of the room now." Lightning tore through the sky, illuminating the dark room.

A dark apparition of shadowy tendrils stood in the middle of the room and behind him beneath one of the beds, a glimmer of silver caught Harper's eyes. It was a sword! "Behind him!" The boy yelled, but as soon as the words left his mouth, one of the cabinets toppled over and the room was once again submerged in Darkness. "Beneath the bed." Harper felt something snake around his ankle and before he knew it he was lifted into the air.

"M-M-Midnight man!" Leon exploded. "Someone get the sword!"
D'aww, that sounds adorable Four >w<)/

And we'll be wrapping this up in two more cycles, so six days. Let's wrap this up guys, the finale awaits! Thanks for the heads up Four and best of luck with whatever it is that you'll be doing ^^ have a blast!

My friend is planning to make a 36-year-old guy who wants to be a guidance counselor :D so the Lost Souls will finally get some adult supervision. As for the second person who'll be joining us. My other friend won't have enough time, so I'll be setting up an int. check and picking one more person, depending on their character sheet. Also, I'll have a post up for group one in an hour or two. Group two, remember, I'll be moving things along tomorrow night so Four, MUG, I'd like to see posts up before then, alright?

Edit: Posted ^^! Until the sword is in someone's hands, both groups will be fumbling around in the dark playing cat and mouse with the midnight man. 8D since he's just a spirit, he'll be able to be in two places at once. He's with both group one and group two and he won't disappear until the sword is taken.
