Bam! As soon as the boss' fist connected with the ball, it tore open and deflated. Moira was amazing! The summoner's eyes flitted from Moira to the ball then back to her. Could her punches pierce through stomachs and chests? He wondered if she had ever killed a monster with her bare hands and the thought made him grin from ear to ear. If he asked her, would she teach him how to punch like that? Oh joy, he couldn't wait to ask her.

However, one of the guys snapped him out of his thoughts. He slapped Lucien playfully on the back then began asking him about his teammates. "Huh?" He snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the guy blankly. He hadn't really been paying attention. The guy grinned like an excited and devious kid, then repeated the question. WHOA! Had he actually made a good impression on these guys? Wait, wait, wait, he had! This was his chance to quit being the guy with the girly name. This was his chance to impress and be cool. A silly smile spread across his face and he wrapped an arm around the guy's shoulder. "Mhm, oh my superiors assigned me to their team. I guess I'm just really lucky." He blurted out without so much as a second thought. Well, that was the truth, now, it was time to add some spice to his tales.

"If you want a girl though! I can totally help you with that." He pulled the guy closer, his grin growing wider by the second. "You gotta charm them with your words. Pull out all the stops." He leaned in and began whispering his cheesiest of pick up lines. "You see that girl in the distance, you gotta walk up to her then get all poetic and go all 'Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?' or 'How do I love thee?' they'll love it." He bobbed his head up and down. Lucien sounded pretty confident though to be honest he didn't have a lot of experience with the ladies, at most they simply thought his pickup lines were cute and they'd walk away with a wave or a wink.

SLAP! Not long after that Amy began yelling and he backed up to stare at her. One of the guys had a bright red hand mark on his face.

Then Amy locked eyes with him and the summoner felt his blood freeze. She was seething with rage and he shrunk back, stepping behind the guy from the opposite team. What? W-why was she looking at him like that? Then she scowled and his eyes went straight to her hand. The guy she had slapped looked like he was in pain. "Umm, uh," his brain failed him and he found himself stammering through a joke in hopes to appease her. "W-What do you, uh, get when you cross a martial artist and a pig. Uh, a pork chop." He laughed nervously then raised both hands in surrender.

So the woman who had yelled at them was Don's sister? And she had tried to kill them before?

The day only grew crazier by the minute and she would definitely have a lot to tell Aria when they regrouped. Then the girl began getting up close and personal with Dylan and Xan winced out of sympathy. Judging by the girl's temper, if he so much as said the wrong thing there was a chance he'd wind up getting clobbered on the spot. The girl's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, there was just so much she didn't understand. However, one thing was certain, these people were definitely an interesting and colorful bunch.

Then Trixe began screaming and she turned to look at Don and the lifeguard who had saved him.

The girl continued screaming at the lifeguard and Xan couldn't help but let out an amused chuckle. She felt sorry for Don though. "Hey," she called out to Trixie before giving the girl a reassuring smile. "He's alive. See the rise and fall of his chest? So don't worry about it." Despite all the chaos she couldn't help but hold back another chuckle. For guilders they were eccentric and unorthodox, but just watching everything unfold was in a way refreshing. Though a part of her worried greatly about the mission and wondered about just how competent everyone was. Surely, they were good at what they did, but seeing everyone yelling wasn't exactly reassuring.

Announcements

Guys, you're in charge of the investigation. I've decided to send the guides somewhere else so the humans can rise up to the occasion and lead. Kei-chan, Kathi-chan, you can have your guides follow Serenade or you can send them some place else. If you choose the latter I'll be throwing events at you and using NPCs to keep you guys entertained, or if you like you can use this as an opportunity for a break or something.

@Group one people - Kimchi, Jasper will be in charge. Bwahaha, group one has been assigned to the north side of town and the area surrounding the lake. I'll be interacting with you guys as Harper and tossing in NPCs to trigger events or move us along.

@Group two people - Phones, Hakuren will be in charge. You guys are assigned to the south side of the town and the caves near the outskirts. I don't have a character with you guys, but I'll be tossing in NPCs to trigger events or move things along.

I have stuff planned, but you may or may not find out depending on the choices the characters make. Also, guys, for the next few cycles I want everyone to try their best to be active. Since we're split up into small-ish groups, inactive people would cripple the posting cycle. If you're busy, please inform us on the OOC. But do try to keep things moving smoothly. I'll be expecting at least one post per cycle unless you have warned us.

The Midnight Train to Nowhere

Suicides, witch hunts, and deaths. The longer they stayed, the darker Nowhere appeared to be.

He felt sorry for Leon and Ace and wondered how they were taking the news. They didn't seem to know much about Nowhere, and perhaps they had believed it was an okay place. However, Hakuren probably shattered their view on Nowhere when he began hitting them with the truth and nothing but it. A part of him wanted to just disappear, but a part of him realized that Hakuren had made a good point. Ignorance would get them hurt and even if they didn't find out now, they'd find out eventually. Harper's eyes flitted uneasily from Ace to Leon and he gave them both a reassuring grin. He felt so cold and so uncertain, the living list was practically blank and they only had one item. How long would it be before they finally completed the list? Before they would finally get to go home and just leave Nowhere and all the terrible memories behind?

He would have fallen deep into his thoughts if not for Leon. He shook his head and willed himself to stay positive.

"Unfortunately, we don't know. We met the mayor, but he won't tell us a thing." Harper looked to the ground. "We just know it's what the list wants us to find and we have to complete it. However, how we complete it is up to us." He frowned, but jolted upright when Jasper stated her idea.

"Since we couldn't get anything from the Mayor himself, I believe turning to the townspeople for information should be our next move. I mean, they're probably just as terrified and inconvenienced with this Siren as anyone of us. If they knew anything, I'm sure they'd spill every single fact they knew to help us end the suicides." Jasper had stated.

"Jasper, that's a great idea." His voice was determined and an eager gleam filled his eyes. If they couldn't get info from the mayor then the townspeople were definitely the next best bet. "We could interview them and ask around. This..." a small smiled tugged on the corners of his mouth. "This place is crazy after all, maybe one of the villagers is a professional song finder." Harper looked relieved now. "We'll never know till we try." And with that he gave the girl a hopeful and genuine smile, maybe they could do it after all.

“So, where exactly do you guys think we should start investigating? The victim’s house sounds promising enough.”

Harper turned to look at Leon and nodded. "That's a good idea. Serenade said something about splitting us up. That way we can cover more ground. It's good to meet you." He spoke firmly, the timidness gone and replaced with seriousness. "We'll also need to look for records and maybe search the nearby ca--ah!" Harper jumped when a hand was placed firmly on his shoulder. He had been so absorbed in planning, that he hadn't noticed Serenade at all. The black rabbit chuckled at the boy's reaction then gave everyone a smile.

"We'll be splitting you into groups. Group one, you'll be going with Songbird and Brandy. Though I might send them both to see the resident detective...I'm not quite sure, but I want the three of you to look around the village and the lakeside. Look around, ask questions, and gather some clues." She turned to look at the others. "Hakuren, Leila, Mado and Leon. You'll be coming with me. Martini you can either come with us or check out the lake since you're the only one of us who can give it a thorough search. Group two, we'll be investigating the nearby caves and the south side of town."

Serenade looked at the humans. "So group one, north side of town and the lake. Group two, south side and the caves. Is this alright? We'll meet up with Cello and Dissonance tonight. Now, let's go. We shouldn't waste daylight." Serenade paused, "on second thoughts. I might be taking the guides with me...there's something wrong here and we need to get to the bottom f it." She pointed at Jasper then at Hakuren. "Jasper, you're in charge of group one. Hakuren, group two. No funny business, understand?"

And that's actually a pretty good idea xD I'll hold up a sign, a welcome to Nowhere placard, and maybe some explosive cake. Then the security will kick me out or something~! 8D Huehue, but that'd be something to write about. Huehue, good to know you're doing alright. Don't forget your earplugs, those Sirens can be really cunning. :P And as for games! Hmm, I'm kind of in a hurry tonight since I need to take care of homework for a literature class after posting here and on another RP, so I'll post the first round of questions tomorrow.

For now how about we find pics that look like our OCs or someone elses OCs? Or, if you guys are feeling pumped, why not make your own OC here >8D and show us how it turns out.

Moira and the Bear

BAMF Love

Moira finished packing. Ever since Bear, her own true love, had been lost at sea, Moira had been Strong.

There was nothing left for her anymore, nothing wrestled her, all was Serious. So today, Valentine's Day, she was going In the ring to become a Drunk Armor.

Just then, there was a Grumpy knock at the door. Moira opened it and stood there mercilessly for a moment, before falling to the floor in a swoon and bruising her arm.

When Moira came to, Bear was holding her leg and looking Tough. "My love," Bear said awesomely, "I'm sorry for the Ready shock. I've been shipwrecked on a Scary island for the last ten years, living Like a drunk, rabid bear. I was only rescued last week." He paused. "I lost my hand in the wreck. Can you still love me?"

Moira could hardly believe her Bear had returned. "I will always love you, hand or no hand. Besides, you can cover it up with a Sword."

They embraced angrily and vowed to never be parted again.

And all was Confident.

Drabble Maker Thing

The Groovy Stranger

The sun was high and the trees stirred lightly in the breeze. Don strode along the path, making for Bedazzling Castle with all speed. Hidden from the eyes of man and beast, he carried the Pristine Leather jacket, which no other must touch until it could be delivered into the safekeeping of the Wizard Chest.

A rustling of the dried leaves beside the path gave him warning and he drew his amazing comb just in time to face the Grand woman who flew at him with such grace that he was almost dazzled.

The woman struck happily, and Don barely raised his comb to meet the attack. They fought long and silkily until all the air rang with the sound of their conflict.

At last, Don found himself forced to one knee, the woman's comb pressed to his Bouncy hair. "I am Selan of Bedazzling Castle," she said. "You are an unworthy guardian for the Pristine Leather jacket. Prepare yourself, for I am about to send you on the dancefloor."

But Don had been waiting for such a chance and, bringing up his comb with a twist, overpowered Selan and pinned her to the ground. "What say you now?" Don said, looking down upon her.

Selan's arm shimmered like Elvis Presley himself. "I have underestimated you, Don. I was sent to test your fitness for this task. To you I pledge my loyalty...and more."

Don's desire was enflamed. His hair throbbed and all his thoughts were to danced Selan like a fish. Don caressed Selan's impeccable arm and she responded. They came together clumsily, and their joining was as Flowing as their battle, and also much louder.

"Ah, my sweet dress!" Don groaned and bedazzled Selan as groovily as he could.

"Ouch!" she yelled. "What the hell is that?"

"Oh," Don said. "That's where I put the Pristine Leather jacket for safekeeping. Sorry."

When they had finished their romp, they drowsed triumphantly on the grass, forgetful of all but their Energetic love. "We will stay together forever," Selan said, and they began all over again.

And so it was that the Wizard Chest never got the Pristine Leather jacket and the forces of evil overwhelmed the land and nobody was happy ever again, at least until the sequel came out.

Like interviews for the OCs, mini chat RPs or fics of the charas before they got on the train/what their lives were like? It could be fun. We could make silly questions for a questionnaire then toss them at our OCs and have 'em answer it in character.
