Like the others he decided to head back, shower, and grab a change of clothes. Lucien returned in a white shirt, khaki shorts, and a pair of slippers.

The place was gigantic. How on earth were they going to find the others here?

Lucien blinked, taking it all in before a goofy smile lit up his face. "This place is grand," he wasn't a gambler or anything, but hey, he was open to trying new things and if he got lucky he'd spend his money on food and souvenirs! He looked through his bag, and decided to just look for the others instead. He didn't exactly have a lot of money left and losing would mean he'd leave with less than he came in with. Hmm, he'd be wise with his coins and ooh! Was that a guessing game?

He returned by himself, since he took his time raiding the fridge in his hotel room. There had been a delicious lava cake and a can of cherry soda in it. There were also other things, but he'd get to them later, for now, he had to find the others. Lucien looked right and left, but there was no sight of them. He decided to dive in and if he couldn't find them he'd just go back to where they were all supposed to meet later. Lucien strode past pool tables, bars, and slot machines before he took a quick left.

WAIT, wait, wait. Was that Trixie he passed...in a casino? There was the clanking of coins and he swirled around eyes wide. It really was her! What was she doing alone--oh! Selan was with her too. The summoner was relieved to see familiar faces. "Hey Trixie, Selan." Lucien gave both girls a wave followed by a grin. "Whatcha guys doing? Where are the others and, whoa," he gave the girl two thumbs up. "You're a real good gambler," the summoner beamed like gambling was a good thing or something to be proud of. "Mhm," his eyes lit up before he turned to Selan. "Did you teach her? Teach me too, yeah?" He asked with a cheery smile and an eager nod of the head.

Flares...

She tried hard not to chuckle at the thought and succeeded despite how silly it sounded. "I'm fine, I'll go get them and catch up with you." Estelle's attention was stolen by Marcus and Xan watched as the girl gave him a hug. They were very interesting people and hanging around them was confusing but she'd be lying if she said it wasn't fun. The metallurgist turned to leave before she spotted Lisette. She gave the girl a wave as she passed by, but was stopped by Aria. The only missing person from the waterpark group was Trixie, Don and Dylan. Last she checked both men were together, so did that mean the girl was alone...here?

Xan sighed, this wasn't really the place for minors, but she'd make sure she found Trixie quickly.

“Xan! I didn’t expect you to have an interest in gambling.”

"Mhm, just watching a poker game," Aria swung an arm around her shoulder and tugged her back towards the table. She gave the others a reminder, cheered Marcus on then lowered her voice and asked about the mission. Xan shook her head before giving her friend a frown, "nothing, no clues or anything. Were you any luckier?" Hopefully Aria was and if she wasn't then she'd pin her hopes on Thunderhawk. He was the most experienced out of all of them after all.

"Oh, excuse me, but I need to find the others. I'll be right back." She gave Aria a small salute then wandered off in search of familiar faces.
Pfft, Don <3! All the drawings are so awesome and the second one. I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for him. Hehe, and the Lucy and his bear <3 it so adorableeeee!

I'll catch up now and get a post up ASAP.

Best of luck with everything, Tae (>-<)b! Best of luck with work and school everyone. I hope you all have a grand mornight.

Edit: Posted (^w^)/
KIMCHI! That banner, It's wonderrific <3! I'll go add it to the first page of the OOC.

Mhm, Riley is gonna be my second human ^^ I made her so I could have someone accompany the new humans. That way it'll be easier to move everyone along/give everyone someone to interact with. I also, wanted to make someone more daring than Harper. 8D

Group one, I'll move us along this afternoon since I'll be kinda busy tomorrow.

Four, how are things going? Please post for group two so Phones can move you guys along. I was thinking, since cycles won't really matter at the moment (due to everyone being split up) we'll be going with the three day rule for the time being. Everyone will need to post at least once in three days so we can keep things moving and hopefully get to the next chapter by the end of March or a during the last few weeks of it. How does this sound to everyone?

Also, how goes the duskdawn? I hope you all have a grand day :D! And by any chance do any of you have sad movie recommendations? Stuff like Hachiko, The Help, or Grave of the Fireflies?

EDIT: The banner is now on the first page (^w^)b thanks, Kimchi!

Also, I just realized the responsible adults are pretty much Lesley and Vince. Everyone is screwed...ahahaha OwO! OTL Lesley can be the group's mom and Vinny the dad. I fear the worst. Haha Haku is the big bro then everyone else is 17-19. We need a child to scar...//shot

*drops a happy 8D video*

Good mornight, guys. Sorry, I won't be able to post tonight.

Gonna pack my stuff, study for an exam, then hit the hay early. I'm leaving for the dorm tomorrow >-<
Pfft, good mornight, guys xD

Don't worry Fishy ain't that creepy D: Anon just destroyed his reputation.

And hello Rising Sun, heavy duty? I'm not sure I understand, but if you mean interest for this RP, then sorry we're full ^^ but thanks for the interest (if that's what you mean xD) it's appreciated. Have a good duskdawn.

And have fun with school and your basketball game, Kimchi. xD You guys are speedy, so I'm just going to pause group one for a bit so group two doesn't fall behind.

Oblivion, Four, how are you guys :3? I can't wait to see more of Leon and Leila. Plus, poor Leon. He has to find stabby girl. Best of luck xD and please try to get Leon to Mado so she doesn't remain stuck.

Phones and Four? Do you need me to play the NPCs living in the houses or do you guys wanna go for it :D?

I hope you all have a grand day.

Edit: OH GOSH, Kimchi. That post xD

And before she could let out a terrified yelp, the desk slid from the door and the little bunnies stormed in. Of course Jasper didn't see this because her light bulb flicked and her lips were on Harper's before the wheels of the table began to turn. She'd seen it in movies before. Using making out as a get away. Trying to make the kissing as believable as possible, she knew she would regret it after her conscience came back as to what she had actually done.

Jasper...that plan. Haha, you and Harper could have been friends, but now it'll be awkward till she explains it was a plan >w< andddd it's actually not a bad plan xD it'll just get Mr. pointy eared Nobody to kick them out and tell them to go somewhere else sooo (^w^)b
Pfft, thank you <3! And posted :D

Aria's response made him chuckle. "Mhm, you'd get to save gald too. No need for a funeral or a coffin." He gave the woman two thumbs up and a cheeky grin. However, before he could say anything else she disappeared, leaving him with Selan and the crazy dancers.

The dancers hurried down the street and they could do nothing but follow or get trampled on. Perhaps he was right about the sacrifice to the gods thing? He chuckled nervously as he stuck close to Selan. He didn't want to get separated with these weirdos...he really, really didn't. Then someone began yelling something about banishing spirits and he froze in place, staring at the songstress with wide eyes and a look of utter confusion. No way was he going to keep dancing...he was getting off this crazy parade to who knows where.

Then again, if this was some sort of ritual there'd be magic and monsters. Lucien's expression shifted from worried into ecstatic and soon he was grinning from ear to ear like an excited kid who was high on way too much sugar. Then more screaming reached his ears and his silly thoughts flew out the window and genuine concern for the well being of his friends made him skid to a stop. "Maybe we should go somewhere else, yeah? These people are off their rocker." He made a cuckoo sort of gesture only to be pushed forward by a tall man who was built like a rock. Lucien gulped before flashing another one of his dopey looking grins.

"The main event is just 'bout to begin, little dude. It's time for the banishing of demons. It'll be totally righteous, man." He gave the summoner a blinding smile and ushered him along, but before they could get very far, the man froze. The crowd parted, making way for the demons and the men with paddles.

"Crap..." The summoner stared at his friends with wide eyes as they ran for dear life. The trio ran and Aria swooped back in suggesting they head to the casino. Not long after the parade ended and they rushed into the casino looking worse for wear. Lucien pulled confetti out of his hair then shuddered. "Anyplace away from dancing sounds grand." He nodded at both women before peering out the door. Phew, it was over...

He cupped both hands around his mouth. "Guys! Guys, over here!" The summoner waved his arms in the air then called out to the trio.

Estelle looked like she knew what she was doing so Xan followed after her without question. The girl however broke into a run and soon Xan was doing her best to keep up and not bump into people. She dodged people left and right and at one point almost lost track of the girl, but in the end spotted her due to her fiery hair color. It took a while to catch up but she managed to and eventually was just a few steps behind the energetic swordswoman.

The metallurgist looked around extra carefully for anyone who might resemble the man, but her luck was pretty bad...she would make a terrible gambler. The girl followed Estelle all the way the poker section before a three men came into view. "Is that him?" She huffed before pointing in the men's direction. She hoped it was and if it really was Marcus, then how were they going to alert the others. This wasn't the most thought out plan, was it? "Excuse me, but how are we going to call the others--" she paused, Estelle was going to start yelling again wasn't she and that wouldn't be good. If someone high and mighty got annoyed they'd be kicked out. "I'll go find them, and maybe we should regroup here so we know where to meet up?"
I'm fine with whatever ^^ and finally finished Heart of Darkness. I shall post ASAP ^^
Huehue, I look forward to Numair's return xD his sarcasm had me grinning and laughing. Especially when he called Mado slendygirl xD <3

Poor Song, don't worry! Brandu will accept you no matter what!

Anddddd Posted, it took a while xD, I was having fun with it and I found a newspaper article generator soooo 8D ahaha.

"Wait! It could be dangerous--oh." Before he could protest Ace had dashed off into the town hall. Wait, did the girl say she had experience with this kind of stuff. Harper stared blankly at the door as he wondered about her life in the human realm. She didn't look much older than him, so how on earth was she used to stuff like his. He let out a sigh. "Just...be careful," but by the time he had spoken the words, Ace was already inside. He watched worriedly as she yanked one of the rabbit's rifles away and began teasing the animal.

"Jasper, let's go--ah!" He was getting yanked around a lot lately. Jasper grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and yanked him forward. Harper coughed and sputtered until she finally loosened her grip. "What?" He asked in a frantic yell, his head turning right and left. Why had she grabbed him? Was the mayor coming back? No! They had to get Ace out of there quickly. "W-What's wrong?" He continued, appearing more frantic as the seconds ticked past.

"Are you two out of your mind? We'll get caught!"

Oh. She had a point...Ace wasn't exactly the stealthiest person. She teased the rabbit soldiers rather playfully and loudly and to be honest it was just a matter of time before they were found out, but this was their only chance and they couldn't waste it. Harper was about to reassure his friend, but before he could he was once again yanked and this time it was into a cramped and dusty closet. He felt his nose itch and struggled hard to hold back a sneeze. THIS was absurd, they couldn't stay here or Ace would get caught, they'd be found and in the end they wouldn't get any new information on the drowning deaths or the sirens. He was about to say something, anything to calm Jasper down but the girl slapped herself across the face and he winced in response. "Are you...okay? You can stay here...and wait for me?" He really didn't want to go alone but Jasper was being fidgety and tense.

Instead of responding, Jasper opened the closet and jumped out with him in tow. They ran down the dark hallway, Ace's voice growing fainter as they got farther away from the scene. Both teens skidded to a stop in front of several doors and Jasper asked him which one they should enter first. There was the closet, the washroom, a random door without a label, then the mayor's office. The last one seemed like the logical choice, right? "Let's go there!" He turned the knob and it was open! They made their way into the room and as soon as they were in Harper locked the door and frantically pushed one of the tables in front of it. That would buy them time, then they could get out through the window--there was no window...

"Let's look in the drawers and cabinets." He stated in a hushed yet frantic voice. The boy began yanking drawers open, sifting through papers and reading headlines as fast as he could. There were news articles, documents, magazines and food recipes? The mayor didn't seem very organized at all. He pulled open a cabinet and out came an avalanche of papers, there were so many papers and in a matter of seconds the teens were up to their knees in old news articles. Just how old was the town of Yonder anyways? The boy let out an exasperated sigh, beads of sweat forming on his forehead...if they didn't move fast enough there was a possibility the mayor would return! If he found them meddling around in his office, what would he do to them? The thought made him go pale. Shakily, he dug through the papers eventually picking up something that looked useful.

His eyes landed on the headlines and a chill ran up his spine. Something terrible had happened here and the mayor didn't want anyone to know about it. His hands shook as he raised the paper above his head. "Jasper, I think you should read these." He held them out to her with a frown.

The Newspapers

Harper looked at the ground and hesitated before finally speaking. "I think we should take these with us...show them to Serenade and the others." He waded through the papers and continued looking for more articles, though a part of him didn't want to know anything else about Siren lake or the woman. Some secrets were better off buried, but the problem was they needed to uncover this one if they ever wanted to find the second item and go home. "Did you find anything?"

Outside the office

The leader of the bunny guard platoon would have no more of this disrespect for the town hall! This girl was infuriating and rude and he'd make sure she paid. She had made fun of his men and of him. Also, it was their duty to keep people out of the town hall, the mayor had said so himself!

He turned his steely black eyes to his comrades. Several of them flailed around, uniforms crumpled and expressions distraught. The girl was a giant! She held the rifle in the air before shooting at the ground! That gun was loaded with super pointy carrots, she could blind someone! What was she doing? He pulled his whistle to his lips and blew as hard as his little rabbit lungs could blow. A shrill sound filled the hall followed by the ringing of a siren? It sounded more like a cellphone alarm.

Bzzzt! Bzzt! The sound rang throughout the town hall and before Ace knew it she was surrounded by rabbit soldiers with their rifles drawn. They jabbed the rifles in her direction angrily before the leader snapped his fingers. As he did so six of his men tackled the girl and wrenched the carrot rifle from her arms. They held her down before the leader of the bunny guard platoon waved a stick of celery angrily at her face. He didn't say a word, none of them did. It seemed they were all mute. He took out a pair of gummy worm handcuffs and restrained Ace.

When her hands were bound he snapped his fingers and the bunny guards got off her, stood with perfect posture and gave their commanding officer a salute. They tried to look menacing, but they were far from that and the gummy bear handcuffs weren't durable...they were edible though. Despite that, the bunny guards felt confident that it would keep the girl out of trouble. The lead bunny pressed a button and not long after a young looking lad in a weird outfit ran down the hall with a stick in hand.

The nobody nearly crashed into a nearby lamp table.

"CRAP! How the hell did you get in here, lady?" He held the stick in front of him like it was some super dangerous weapon. "No trespassers allowed...didn't ya read the sign or can you not read?" He narrowed his beady yellow eyes at her. He looked human if one ignored his eyes, his pointy ears, and leopard tail that flicked back and forth behind him. He looked very irritated, he had been enjoying a nice nap when the rabbit soldiers rang the alarm. "That fish-face will get me fired if he finds out about this."

There was a thud from the office followed by what sounded like a waterfall of papers.

"Are you a burglar or sumthin?" He strode towards her lazily a scowl stuck on his face. The bunny soldiers pristine uniforms were crumpled and they looked worse for wear. "I see you've been givin' them trouble, huh." He didn't like the silent bunnies, they were all rules and no fun, so seeing them frantic and annoyed was amusing and a smirk lit up his face. "Haha, you're not half bad at causin' a ruckus, so tell me what the hell are you doing in the town hall?" He tapped her on the forehead with his stick before grinning from ear to ear like a child. His ears twitched. "And tell me, who exactly is here with you? They're not exactly silent and my hearing is pretty good."

The young man motioned for the bunny soldiers to check out the office and four of them saluted before heading to the door. However, they couldn't get it open...it was locked, so they did what they knew how and began ramming the door with their tiny rifles.

The young man was chuckling as he twirled the stick in his hand. "Oh, you guys are so busted~!"

In the Office

The doorknob turned back and forth, back and forth.

Harper stood stiff, his heart hammering in his chest. He felt sick to his stomach and staggered back, nearly crashing into a cabinet. "Jasper!" He called out frantically. "T-They're at the door." And as soon as he had said those words the rabbits on the other side began pounding on the door like mad.
