"So how exactly does this work, Lucien?" Xan arched an eyebrow at the roulette table, eyeing the chips. Everyone was cheering, and even Trixie was allowed to make a bet.

The summoner shrugged, before pumping a fist in the air and cheering Don on. "I haven't the slightest clue," he said with a wide smile. "Don's been on a winning streak though, might as well cheer, yeah?" The summoner clapped, the best were called, the wheel was spun, and miraculously, Don won, again! It was amazing. Everyone began whooping and cheering, but the boss had a deadly look in her eyes, however, only Xan noticed. Lucien was far too busy cheering his friend on as well.

Xan stared at Moira, but before she could think of anything, Don pulled her by the arm and twirled her around. The metallurgist froze, not exactly trained to deal with situations like this one. When it was over she gave Don a smile and congratulations. He was so happy, it was nice to see. The man danced and sang before giving the blonde a peck on the cheek. Lucien laughed and she did too. Then Don picked Selan up, placed her down and sang happily.

All was happy and well until Moira began yelling and cursing. Finally, she threw the table across the room and chaos happened.

"What the hell?" At the sound of the crash Lucien's gaze flitted from the happy Don to the table on the other end of the room. People were yelling and running...and wasn't that table supposed to be in front of the boss? Oh... he gaped before his awe flickered in his eyes. "Amazing," the summoner simply whispered, somehow gaining even more respect for Moira. She was one of the coolest people he had ever had the pleasure to meet. Though even he had to admit, the casino wasn't the best place for tossing tables.

Syed had to keep her down with a shock? And the summoner winced sympathetically.

Soon enough, security arrived and dragged Moira away. Xan couldn't help but stare in disbelief...really? This couldn't be happening...they had to meet up with Thunderhawk in less than two hours. This wasn't good at all, this was bad. No, this was just horrible. She let out an exasperated sigh before she chased after Moira and Syed. She needed them at that mission briefing or Thunderhawk wouldn't be pleased. "Wait, excuse me." She called out to the officer, not exactly sure about what she was going to say. She looked to Syed as if questioning him with her gaze before she returned her attention to the officer. "We're terribly sorry...but is there anyway we can forget about this? Maybe we can pay for the damage to that table and the two of us can get her out of here? I promise, we'll keep her from doing anything."

Meanwhile Lucien stared at the others, an out of place smile on his face. That was cool, but ice cream sounded cooler at the moment. "Sounds like a grand idea."
Have fun with Avatar and walking your dog, Pach (^w^)/

In the meantime, I'll get a post up. Have a grand weekend, guys!

Edit: Posted ^w^ I had Xan follow after Syed and Moira in an attempt to help. Buns, if you want the two alone though I'll edit my post and have her stay with the others (^w^)b

You guys will be getting your surprises soon. This chapter is coming to an end, it was a lot longer than the last one, but at least it brought everyone a bit closer together and we've managed to establish relationships. Like who's on good terms and who's on bad terms >w<

We also welcomed four new friends :D! So yay!

Hope you all had a nice day or night and Phones. Your post made me laugh <3

Headphones said Regarding the siren, the crocodile had not spoken in great detail, mainly because she herself had not participated in the act that was the witch hunt, yet her mouth seeped story after story as to why the drowned woman was considered a witch. She had put a spell on the man she loved. She had poisoned a rival. She had killed by simply speaking. She had turned into a hotdog.

Headphones said She had turned into a hotdog.

AHAHAHAHA <3 perfect. Everything was so intense and dark then suddenly BAM, she was hotdog.
"Are you two okay? Ha, I'm not carrying any of you if you pass out."

Harper didn't really know what to say. A part of him was fearful about what had happened, yet a part of him told the boy to just shrug it off. It was over and what mattered now was that they had what they had came for and were a step closer to home. Home, the word made him ache for his mom's home cooked meals, his dad's silly jokes and his sister's loud laughter. He missed them a lot and the thought of dying in Nowhere and never seeing them again, ever, made him feel sick to his stomach too. Jasper ran to the lake and threw up and Harper straightened in place, his expression shifting into one of concern.

He took in a deep breath then focused his eyes on Ace. "I'm okay...not sure about her. Jasper?" He found it hard to look her in the eyes, but managed to in the end. Nowhere did weird things to them all, so he tried to forget what had happened in the office. It wasn't a big deal and if he allowed his thoughts to linger on it then things would have been awkward and he didn't want that. "Are you okay?" Jasper wiped at her mouth and blamed it on the adrenaline. "Okay."

Harper continued holding the papers in Ace's direction and the girl read through them, just as chipper as ever. How had she handled the bunnies so calmly? In a way she reminded him of his reckless sister. Then Ace suggested rather teasingly that the duo have a break and Harper felt the heat return to his face. "N-No, I'm good though if Jasper wants to rest we should all stick together. Nowhere can be a scary place..." Memories of the choatic star came flashing back and he hoped the Siren would be just a siren or something like Martini and not some Crocosharkgator. Knowing Nowhere though, he didn't know what to expect.

"Let's head to the lake together," his voice was firmer now. "If anything goes wrong, we'll be together." He wasn't calm like Haku, brave like Iro, or fearless like Mado, but he thought stuff through, weighed his options and tried his darnedest to be as reasonable as he could be. Harper tucked the newspaper clippings into his bag for safe keeping, waited for Jasper to recover then turned to Ace with a slight smile. "You can lead the way," he offered before waiting for both girls to walk ahead. He trailed behind them and focused his eyes on the fluffy clouds that rolled across the sky like lazy sheep. Nowhere was frighteningly beautiful, and as much as he adored the constellations in Nowhere's sky, he feared the place more than anything else.

"Ace, Jasper, what do you think we should find?" He wondered if Haku and the others were luckier and wished them the best. They had to finish the list...they just had to.
