Sorry to hear about that, Kathi-chan ;A; which reminds me, ahaha. I have exams tomorrow *crawls away to study*

Yay, Brandu! Martini! Songbird!

Guys, so far four people are interested in joining us, we'll be recruiting two or at most three~! I already have ideas on how they meet the rest of the group xD *mad cackling*.

Since the guides are going to make a heroic entrance you guys can have your characters dealing with their own visions. Please remember the three day rule ;A; I really don't want this to slow down significantly and die, especially now since we've lost Iro and Sanae. If things feel slow or boring don't hesitate to say anything.

Kathi-chan and Kei-chan, when do you think you guys can manage to get the post up? I was planning to have the humans wake up tomorrow night so I could move things along, but I can move my post to Sunday night for you guys. If not, maybe we can think up something else that won't require collabs, since that's kind of hard to do with the time zones and stuff. Or were you guys planning to post your entrances separately, but as if you're together? I think that'd be a quicker alternative ^^ I don't require the guides to post every three days but when they're interacting with people, I'll expect them to be a bit more active so we can keep our pace the same.

Oh, and Green have free to have Mado do whatever since she's awake xD

What does everyone think?

So far there are 5 players. ^^

I have three friends who help me out as guides and NPCs, but only five players. I'm looking for two or three more at maximum and have currently received four PMs. However, it isn't first come first serve, so if you want to join us feel free to shoot me a PM. xD
Have a nice snow day, Danni. Those Foxes are adorable <3 I might go and steal some of those pics from you.

I hope you all have a grand mornight! ;A; I'm going to panic because midterms and weekend classes await.

Also, this chapter is definitely a change of mood <3 it's so lighthearted and happy in comparison to the last one which was full of despair ;A;. Also, don't melt Tae and Rex! Give in to the power of ice cream. (^w^)b

“What are you two playing at?”

He had expected the mummy's voice to sound more hoarse...less authoritative too. In fact, the mummy sounded very young, definitely unlike someone whose vocal chords were centuries old. Lucien cracked open an eye only to see Tagress' guild leader. He felt himself grow cold and instantly he straightened himself up, wiped the silly expression off his face and cleared his throat...of all the people he could have screwed up in front of. "O-Oh, Leader, funny to see you around here...ahaha." He wrapped an arm around Trixie's shoulder and nodded his head. "You see, we were just trying to cheer up a friend." Lucien tried to play it off nonchalantly. "Sorry, sorry, we'll make sure we don't scare a random patient or something." Just as he had finished his sentence he found himself struggling to contain a smile. Scaring a random patient would have been interesting and funny...it wouldn't be so bad.

The prankster decided to hide behind me and he felt just a little bit more nervous.

"S, sorry, Mister, I—we thought you were... there's um... there's a mummy out there and... please don't yell at us... ireallylikethegunsyouboughtme...!"

He sucked in a breath of air, great, how was he supposed to explain a mummy to Tiberius Rex. "About the mummy, yeah...I don't really know what to say." Lucien scratched his cheek and did what he did best. He put on a dopey smile, hopefully, they wouldn't have to endure a lecture.
Oblivion, Akiblue, I've responded to your PMs. xD

Thanks for the interest guys and the site must be psychic :P! I hope I managed to answer your questions, if not, feel free to shoot some more at me.
Good evening, guys ;A; ahaha I'm still at school, but yeah, it'd be best if everyone focused on the vision the siren's gave them for this round. Songbird and Brandu will be making their return soon-ish and if they don't wake everyone by Saturday night, I'll do it on my move along post.

Also I made an int check and found two people interested in joining us. Our numbers have gone down and Four has a pretty hectic schedule, so after a bit of thinking I decided to look for a few new recruits. Sorry Phones, but having 2-3 new people prolly won't hurt, in fact, I think it'll do us some good :D

Andddd now I shall go back to writing papers with my group mates. I'll PM the people who want to join us when I get back.
Akiblue, your avatar definitely fits your name xD

Yay, interest! :D I'll answer those pms when I get home tonight. Currently, I'm on phone and I'll be heading to school soon. I just came by to check.

It's nice to meet the both of you ^^
Kei-chan *glomps*

For some reason you don't have a color D:

And guys, I just finished my post! Sorry if there are more typos than usual, I had to rush through it since I still have some essays to read for tomorrow. I hope it's alright though ^^
Tick tock...

Tick tock...

Not long after the humans and the nobodies began to retire for the evening. Dissonance was rather stubborn, stating that they should pull an all-nighter. However, eventually Serenade got tired of her sister's antics and turned off the lights. "Tomorrow, we'll be meeting up with Mayor Spicy Tuna, so get some sleep while you all can." She gave Jasper a goodnight and raised an eye at Mado when she exited the cabin. Surely, Mado's fellow humans and batch mate's would make sure she didn't do anything reckless. Well, hopefully they would...because honestly, she was far too tired to deal with any more shenanigans.

"Good night, kill joy!" Dissonance had yelled before curling up in a sleeping bag before the fireplace.

Harper didn't stir and remained asleep on the couch as the sister's bickered and argued. Eventually both silence and darkness enveloped the cabin and one by one everyone began to fall asleep. With a bitter Serenade ready to whack whoever turned on the lights, there wasn't much more one could do and so they slept.

Have you heard of siren lake?
'Tis cursed the place, the future is bleak.
Fall now before stormy seas,
the end it comes for you and me

All was silent until a soft humming filled the room. The voice was enchanting, one that could not be described in words. It echoed through the empty cabin, pulling the sleeping humans to their feet. It brought to life their wildest dreams and desires and blinded them to reality.

"Harper, mom and dad were worried sick about you."

Through half lidded eyes he could see her...his sister! Gone were the needles and the hospital room. It was just her, beaming with life and smiling at him. He struggled to speak and found himself struggling to form the most simple of words. Suddenly, he was pulled into a warm embrace and everything felt alright. Thoughts of Nowhere, the castle int he sky and the chaotic star all vanished. The only thing that mattered was the present. "I-I thought you were sick," he croaked only to smile when his sister laughed at him.

"Sick? Me? Naw, you must have been dreaming little bro. Mom and dad are waiting back at home, we've got a new year to celebrate, c'mon, c'mon, time's a wastin'!" She hooked both her heads behind her head and told him to follow after her and he did.

Similar things were happening to everyone else. Rosen appeared before Jasper, telling the girl to follow her back to the coffee shop for cake. Those with more abstract wishes were also affected in the same way. People didn't appear before them but answers and the desires of their hearts did and soon they too were walking out of the cabin. Mado who remained awake and outside soon caught site of her fellow humans as they shuffled awkwardly like zombies out the cabin door. Their eyes were open but empty and blank and they moved stiffly like robots without so much as a word.

Soon enough the faceless man appeared as well, trailing behind the others. He turned his head to face Mado as if he were staring then continued walking towards the others–towards the blackened lake.

Thud!

Boom!

Creaaaaak!

Serenade hopped frantically onto her feet, a sense of dread overtook her and before she could try to think logically she looked around. The bedroom was completely empty! Quickly, she bounded down the stairs, only to be greeted by the same sight. All of the humans were gone and the only person left in the room was Dissonance, mumbling to herself in her sleep. The black rabbit quickly shook her sister awake, yelling about the human's whereabouts. The white rabbit stared on in a daze, looked around sleepily then when she finally noticed the missing humans scrambled to her feet.

"Where are they? Dissonance, I swear..."

"Sis! I don't know where they are, really. I was asleep! How would I even know?"

Serenade narrowed her eyes suspiciously before gulping. Quickly she grabbed onto her sister's hand and made her way out the door. A fog hung low, making it hard to see more than a few feet ahead. The humans were nowhere to be seen and Serenade found herself fearing the worst.

"Hey, bro?"

Harper arched an eyebrow, a silly smile still stuck to his face. "Mhm?"

"When 2014 comes, what are you going to wish for?"

Before he could respond he found himself enveloped in something cool and soothing, at first it reached up to his knees then his waist before soon he found himself completely submerged. It became rather hard to breath, he didn't know why but he wasn't happy he was unusually almost frighteningly at peace. The lost souls waded into the dark water, each one moving deeper and deeper into the lake.

The faceless man laughed as he stood on the shore and Mado watched as her fellow lost souls began walking to their watery graves.

Serenade ran through the fog, sometimes tripping but always pushing herself back up. Dissonance looked rather frightened and unnerved behind her sister but pushed on with a confused look stuck on her face. The black rabbit cursed then cupped both hands over her mouth and yelled. "Where the hell is everyone?!"

Trixie fell back into the Janitor's closet and Lucien doubled over with laughter. The look on her face had been priceless!

"Kid, you should have seen the look your face," he snickered teasingly, wiping away at tears that had formed in the corners of his eyes. The laughter hurt his sides, but it felt good and no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't wipe the dopey grin off his face. He allowed himself a few more chuckled before focusing on the stunned girl...she wasn't saying anything. Had he overdone it? A twinge of guilt shot through him and he noticed a tear. Crap, crap, crap! Had he scared her that badly?

"H-Hey," The summoner sputtered, the cogs and gears in his head working overtime to come up with some kind of believable excuse—anything as long as it cheered her up.

"You... you...!"

This was it, she was going to yell, point a finger at him and call for a nurse or something...he had definitely screwed up. Lucien begain flailing around in a momentary panic, eyes the size of saucers and skin deathly pale. Angry shop keepers or irritated superiors, he could deal with, but crying kids...he had never been any good at that. Maybe he could make a funny face or tell a joke. Yeah, a joke! Maybe the one about the guy who lost his entire left side in an accident.

"You're perfect!!"

"I'm sorry—what?" The summoner snapped out of his panicked thoughts, stared blankly at the bouncing prankster then composed himself. Soon enough another sly smile was stuck to his face. "Oh, of course, of course." He gave the kid a confident nod, but before he could say anything else he was yanked by the wrist into the cramped janitor's closet. Trixie gave him a devilish grin and and he chuckled. "Mhm, Lucien Maddox at your service." He gave her a slight bow, "what can I do to help?" He didn't quite understand what she was rambling about, but decided to go along with it.

"There's a mummy comin' to eat me. I lost it earlier, but I know it's still out there looking for me. So, so I was gonna sneak up on it instead and scare it! Like a- like a pincer-scare with someone else! Then it'd run away from me instead and holycheeseonastick you are perfect."

A mummy? Things were starting to sound very interesting. Lucien puffed out his chest pridefully. "You found the right person for the job kid. Let's scare that mummy good, yeah? We'll have it running in the opposite direction in no time." Trixie began telling him about her plan and he nodded excitedly, just what kind of mummy was she talking about. Could it be a patient infected with some rare and festering disease? Whatever it was, he wasn't going to miss it.

"Oh, and after the mummy crawls away...you gotta show me what you do when we fight and stuff. I never see you do anything!"

Wait, what? The summoner felt the heat rise to his face. "I-I don't do nothing," He found himself sputtering. So it turned out he hadn't made a cool impression after all. He deflated and made a mental note to show Trixie one of his summons later on. He watched as she tiptoed to the other room then gave a wink as a signal. He was ready! Lucien stayed absolutely still and prepared to pull of the most comical of expressions for when the mummy arrived.
