My second post might not be up till tonight. My mom's sister is staying with us, so we're taking her to siren lake the lake this afternoon. I'll try to finish it before we go though, just a heads up ^^

"Marvelous! All of you have such stunning potential." The queen grinned brightly as each of the humans displayed their new found abilities.

The throne room was thrown into a state of chaos. Tables were split apart, cakes were sent flying, and sparks of electricity tore through the air. It was all so colorful and lively,and this was the first time anyone had become a rainbow mage. My, my, these humans sure were something!

"Excellent display of power. Zephy, they'll chase away that dragon in no time." She gave the messenger a tap on the shoulder before holding out the box. There were two gems left. "Come, come, let's not keep poor Tobi waiting."

Harper eyed the gem in his hand. Would it be enough to keep them alive?

Riley on the other hand wasn't worrying, but was instead oohing and aahing at the explosions happening all around.

"Here you go, dears." She waved a dismissive hand in Inadi's direction before beaming at everyone who had asked a question. "Give me a moment and we'll get to that in faster than an alligator in a race car." She pushed the box in Riley's direction and the girl pulled out an orange gem. She wore it immediately, but didn't feel a surge of power or anything special. "Hey, how did any of you get it to work?" She raised an eyebrow before casually grabbing a tart of the now broken table.

"It's already working." The Queen said with a chuckle.

The girl looked at the tart in her hand and her eyes went wide. It was on fire... "THIS is so freaking cool! I mean, err, hot! You get what I mean." The girl tossed the now burnt tart away and laughed. If she nabbed photos of this and wrote an article, no news company in their right mind would be able to ignore her.

Mado reached out to grab a gem of her own, but before she could reach for the purple amulet the queen slammed the jewelry box shut.

"I'm sorry, but a few of the guides told me about the Shakespearean incident," her eyebrows creased in concern, "I think it would be best if you stayed in the castle and rested." The girl was a danger to her own teammates and the queen didn't want anymore casualties.

Riley raised an eyebrow at Mado while Harper let out a relieved sigh. The girl had almost killed them a handful of times and while he felt sorry for Mado he was glad they wouldn't have to worry about her accidentally impaling one of them. The Queen waved a hand in Mado's direction and soon a handful of bunny guards began escorting her towards the elevator. She would be evaluated in the infirmary and given a room so she could rest, maybe the parties would cheer her up as well.

The queen grabbed a spoon off of the table and gave one of the wine glasses a tap. "Now to answer your questions."

Ace said "Wait, what do you mean run out? How does the magic run out- wait what happens when the magic runs out? And can we keep these?"

Jasper said "If we run out, what will happen?"

The Queen smiled. "Thank you for bringing up those important questions. The moment you put those amulets on they become a part of you. The glowing liquid inside can be considered your energy or in other words your life force."

"L-Life force?" Harper sputtered, he didn't like the sound of this at all.

"I probably should have told you from the get-go." The queen let out a hearty laugh. "Well, there's no turning back now, dearies." The queen cleared her throat. "So, each time you draw upon the amulets power you lose energy and life. If the amulet runs dry...there's a big chance you'll become nothing but a husk, so use your new found abilities sparingly. If you find yourself low on energy, just rest and you'll gain more. Have a I made myself clear?"

Harper nodded his head up and down, his voice dying in his throat. There was always a catch...

The Queen then turned to Inadi with a sympathetic frown. "I'm sorry, but none of you can leave until the living list is completed. There are only eight items to go, but I suggest you hurry. Time is your enemy here." There she went again, mentioning a concept that none of the nobodies seemed to understand.

"And as for you," she gave Leon a smile and ruffled his hair. "I see you have good tastes!" She clapped both her hands together and placed her crown on Leon's head. "Take it with you for good luck! I have an entire room full of different crowns, this is my tea party crown, and it was getting kind of old." She beamed at him before telling Skitz to go grab her cake feasting crown from the storage room. "Now off with you all! Sol needs you." She began pulling each of the humans into a hug before motioning for them to leave. "Go on, go on...off with you. Zephy, take care of them for me, okay?"

The Queen ushered them out of the room and once again they bid the castle goodbye.

Los Paraisos: Tavern

The doctors said it could go either way, and the possibility of losing Don was very real.

The thought of his friend dying, it scared Lucien out of his wits, so after the Doctors declared their statement the summoner didn't know what to do. He was never good with grief and the thought of Don dying robbed him of all his jokes or silly smiles, it left him empty, the same kind of empty he felt after Weir...just hundred times worse. Everyone was on edge and no one, not even the experts could tell if Don would make it. The hospital was gloomy and his head was a mess so he decided to hit the tavern and drown his sorrows.

"Hey...Xan? Wanna go somewhere and get a drink on me?" Lucien looked like he wanted to fall over, but he tried to smile anyway.

Xan was staring at the floor, she wanted to get away from it all for just a bit. "Yeah, okay."

"Good, good." They didn't say anything else and left the gloomy hospital.

The tavern was noisy and cheerful, but it didn't help either of the two, and both stared at empty glasses.

"Do you think he's going to make it?" Lucien mumbled.

The metallurgist shrugged. "I don't know. The doctors said his chances are fifty-fifty."

Lucien screwed his eyes shut and slammed his hand onto the table. "He has to make it, I mean, he can't just die! He can't just have it end like this," the summoner went quiet. "because he's Don and because he's a hero."

Xan kept her eyes focused on her half-empty glass. "I wish it were that easy. Only time will tell now."

"You never sugarcoat things..."

"I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you."

The rest of the night was spent in silence and if not for Xan, Lucien would have drank the night away. The duo paid their bill then made their way back to the hospital.

Los Paraisos: Mercy Hospital

There was a shrill beep followed by complete pandemonium.

That sound, it could only mean one thing. Lucien, like the rest of the pride, scrambled to his feet. The summoner dashed towards Don's room his thoughts nothing but an incoherent mess. "Hell NO!" This was Don after all, the goofiest one of them all. He couldn't just die because heroes always went out in a bang, not like this, not in hospital beds. He skidded to a stop, nearly crashing into the others in front of him.

Don was gone.

For a moment confusion rendered him speechless, but then realization hit. If Don was gone, he was alive. Lucien's eyes stung with tears and soon he had the goofiest grin stuck to his face. Music began playing and he watched as Dylan scooped Trixie into a hug. Lucien chuckled, before following Dylan and pulling both Moira, Syed and Aria into a tight group hug.

The moment the heart monitors started going crazy, Xan decided to wait in the hallway.

Going in after everyone felt too personal. She hadn't known Don for as long as they had, but he seemed like a great person. As much as she wanted to check on everyone, she decided to give them privacy and waited in the hall with downcast eyes and a heavy heart. However, soon enough people were bursting into cheers and Xan decided to have a look. So Don was alive?

"The pride sure is something, yeah?" Lucien was pretty much keeping everyone in a group hug.

Xan stared at the window, at the empty bed then at the fireworks in the night sky, finally making a connection between Don and the show. "Yes, they really are."

Good mornight guys! I hope you're having a grand Easter :D andddd I'm back.

Just caught up with the IC and OOC, I've missed you guys *glomps* also, I see you guys have been discussing. Thanks for opening up that discussion Kei-chan! Battle scenes can sometimes lead to arguments, but if we talk it out on the OOC beforehand everything should go smoothly so good idea! Pach and Phones explained it all pretty well and I agree with the both of them.

Planning everything out beforehand takes away a certain thrill. Uncertainty is nice since in RPing nothing is set in stone and it's exciting, seeing unexpected surprises here and there, plus, planning everything out would defo take way too long with the three day rule and different timezones. Like Pach, I don't encourage collabs since they killed one of my rps in the past and slow things down, but I do believe there are times when they are really useful. Kei-chan, Kathi-chan and I use them to move things along from time to time when we're sure we can finish them speedily, so if you guys think a collab is necessary and are sure you won't take forever to do it then go for it, I guess xD

Soooo, I think autohitting is fine as long as it isn't abused and as long as common sense is used.

I don't think we need to discuss trading of minor blows but if you're about to deal a large amount of damage on someone then you should ask them for permission first. However, with some of Nowhere's creatures, we might be injuring the lost souls for plot advancing purposes ;)

And I'm just going to repeat what Kei-chan said ^^ our humans will be newbies. Their powers will be pretty cool to them, but to the people of Aven and Sol who live a medieval fantasy life, the humans won't be anything special. They'll have their moments of awesome but the amulets are pretty unstable too 8D so expect spells not working, sword attacks going wrong, and stuff backfiring on the poor hummons.

Four :D welcome back from your trip and Anon have fun on yours. Urgh, I don't know how you guys managed to type on moving vehicles xD thank you for getting your posts up despite the busy schedules. Also, I see everyone is done with their gem posts anddddd Oblivion told me she's currently working on hers, so I might move everyone along depending on whether I'm awake by the time she finishes. If not, I'll post tomorrow. Anyways, I told you guys I'd be back on Monday, but we got home earlier than expected~!

Oh, and before I forget, Green sent me a PM. I don't know why, but he's decided to withdraw from the RP :C it'll be sad seeing Mado and Green go, but let's march forward. Green, thanks for the fun times ^^ and best of luck with your roleplaying endeavors. Feel free to stop by the OOC and chat anytime.

Lastly, it's just a reminder. Our posting cycles were kind of unstable due to the guild going down and the reunion I had to attend, but once again, I'll be expecting a post once every three days (^w^)/ and will be expecting warnings on the OOC if someone has to miss a cycle.
