"Jasper, if you'd prefer you can ride with me." Serenade gave the nervous looking human a smile. "Still, it would tire out the Chocobos if they had two people on them at once." The black rabbit tried to sound reassuring. "They're gentle, these are the mounts given to those new to the infantry."

One of the giant chickens inched towards the nervous girl and pressed it's fluffy head against her shoulder.

"See, one of them likes you already." The guide chuckled then looked at both Avian and Victoria. "If you really need assistance though, that's what those two are for." She gave them a friendly nod before returning her attention towards Jasper.

Harper was actually getting the hang of it. His chocobo trotted beside Hakuren's, sometimes 'kwehing' playfully at the older boy's own mount. The giant chickens looked very excited. "You're right Haku, this is much better than flying a miniship." He gave the older boy a small grin. "We don't have to worry about falling off and dying either." He tugged on the reins and the chocobo began walking in a speedy circle. The boy laughed before noticing Jasper's little predicament, he waved cheerfully, looking much happier than usual. "They're nice!" He yelled before returning his focus on Hakuren, Avian, and Vicky. He gave his mount a pat and noticed a name on its collar. "Parsley," Harper laughed before looking at Haku's mount with a smile. "What's your name?"

He waited for Hakuren to answer then turned to both Avian and Vicky. "Did the dragons really use to be friendly?"

Meanwhile, Serenade had stopped by Leila, Jasper, and Leon.

The three of them hadn't gotten onto their mounts yet. "Chocobos assemble!" The guide called.

Two more armored chickens rushed to the scene, bouncing in excitement. Both chickens walked up to the still standing humans and kwehed loudly as if begging for attention. The Chocobo who was already beside Jasper gave the girl a little push before ducking really low and waiting patiently.

"See, they're trained. Now, let's get a move on everyone." Serenade looked tired but she mustered a smile and laughed.



“Considering all the other weird things this place has to offer I wouldn't doubt it.”

Her view of the sky was cut off and she found herself staring at Inadi and Pini. "Gah, you guys are blocking the view." The girl gave them both a grin but sprang up when the boy accepted her earlier invitation to race. Riley huffed, then turned to Ace with a devious looking grin. "I'm shaking in my boots," she joked before rolling her eyes at Inadi's comment. "No worries, pal, we don't plan to lose to you."

The girl got to her feet and climbed onto her mount's back, she noticed the collar on its neck, the Chocobos name was Sunny.

"Sunny, huh? Let's show these boys who's boss, okay!" The Chocobo flapped its wings eagerly and Riley laughed. "I'll take that as a yes!" The girl focused on the giant oak tree at the end of the field then turned to both Ace and Inadi. "That'll be the finished line!" The trio got into position and began counting down.

Three. Two. One.

The Chocobos ran and laughter echoed across the field. "Sunny! We can do this!" She tapped the bird's side with her foot and it picked up the pace, leaping and flapping it's wings as it launched itself forward.

Of course they wouldn't believe him.

Atlas winced as he was throttled by both Don and Estelle. He didn't know what those things were and he didn't know where Marcus or Dr. Dream were at. The last thing the magician remembered was trying to fight back and buy them some time. After the hit to the head though, things went dark and he didn't know how much time had passed since then. It wasn't dark out when they met those things. It had to be at least a few hours since then.

He gave them a look of defeat before Lute asked him about the cheese men.

His friend's faith brought a bit of clarity back to his messed up thoughts. Atlas gripped Don's hands firmly then slowly pushed the frantic man away. "No...no...they didn't talk. They hissed like animals." He winced when Lute began fussing over him, it was usually the other way around. "I'm alright." He stated, still looking a bit dazed. The others looked skeptical though, but the youngest looking guilder stopped them and offered to sniff out the enemies.

It was raining, this was just perfect.

Atlas looked at the others with a frown. There was nothing believable to say because what had happened had been crazy. "Those things," he scoffed. "Cheese people, some looked like normal people but they weren't...we'll be there shortly." The Pride trudged onward. Lute was in mother hen mode and Atlas gave his friend a soft punch on the shoulder, it was meant to be comforting. "I'm alright, don't worry, just keep an eye out for strange things, okay?" The magician grinned, looking better than he had when they first saw him.




They walked on, until they saw a fox with a camera.

Xan gaped and rubbed at her eyes, this...things like this did not happen. She turned to look at Aria, "is...is this an illusion? Can you sense any illusionists nearby?" She turned around and looked at their surroundings. It was dark, and someone could have easily been hiding behind one of the trees.

"It might be Mr. Rabbit's friend." Lucien mumbled, amazed. "Um, did you happen to see a tall, blonde guy with glasses?" Lucien began gesturing with his hands and Xan couldn't believe he was talking to a fox with a camera... what on earth? "He was with this guy in a lab coat, Dr. Dream?" At the mention of his owner's name, Isaac popped his head out of Lucien's messenger bag and sniffed at the air.

Of course, the fox didn't respond.

Moira chased after it and it dashed off. Lucien stared at the boss and at the quickly retreating Fox. "Thaum...is really interesting."

Lisette chased after the fox as well but fell into a puddle, while Trixie crashed into a tree. "Hey, kid, you okay?" Lucien asked as he began darting after it! "Hey, Leader!What if it leads us to Marcus?"

The magician's eyes went wide. That fox...it had been with the bear. "Follow that Fox!" Atlas yelled and in a blink of an eye, he was beside Lucien, racing after the creature. His ability wasn't exactly called teleporting, but Atlas did something called flash stepping and he could propel himself forward at a ridiculous speed.

Xan followed after both boys, but the fox ceased running and it turned around with a devilish looking grin.

It raised its camera, its flash blinding both Atlas and Lucien. They tripped over their own feet and the Fox snickered.

Something was off...something was very wrong.

The fox began laughing before it began to double in size. It didn't stop, it kept growing until it was bigger than any of them, until it was taller than even Syed. The camera turned into a pair of scissors and Xan froze up.

Lucien scrambled to his feet. "Um, yeah, I think we should run."

Pfft, go Devie :D! Garret would probably help out with props and stuff, Ami wouldn't mind a musical.

Urgh, drama always sucks, sorry to hear about that :/ I do hope things get sorted out ASAP. People disappearing into thin air always sucks ;A; especially when things have gotten really interesting. It just kills enthusiasm and brings the rp down, so I defo understand how you feel .__.

I'm doing well though ^^ so far all rps are going swell.

;A; sadness, ahoy! Heya guys, I'm back. Sorry I couldn't PM you yesterday Pach, we spent the entire day at the beach, so there wasn't any wifi then after that my cousins and I went to watch The Amazing Spiderman 2 while the grownups went to the spa, got back at around one in the morning, so I kind of just crashed into bed xD

And yep, he sang the brains song <3! I think Voltaire did another song for the Billy and Mandy movie, not sure though.

I'm not much of a movie person or tv person. Haha, the only series I've been following is The Walking Dead, but if I had to pick I guess, movies > series because it requires less time xD //shot for being lazy

Pfft, that tentacle pirate doesn't look very threatening. Rin and Len <3 awesome vid phones and that story about the cat and robot was very unique, not something you see all the time, but d'awww <3

Ace...those answers. Haha, another awesome interview! Phones, this is a really great idea xD it's a neat opportunity to get fun facts on the OCs. So Ace used to be a fire elemental? Very cool! If I remember right, Haku was an ice mage and a journalist once? Is anyone else reusing a character :D? I haven't used Harper or Riley before but Sol and Aven are both cities from RPs long ago.
