"He knows you're a vampire. If you get yourself killed over some idiot, I swear I will go there myself to slay the scum responsible." Xerc said, it echoing a bit in Scarlet's head. Scarlet simply replied with 'I don't care' before deciding to pay more attention to the man in front of her.

Well the thing is, before the corruption of earth many things that we would expect in 200 years would exist. Virtual reality, destruction, viruses, plagues even. It's meant to be set somewhere where phones can project you instead of looking at you on a screen but not far enough as to where time traveling is possible. But, after the corruption, a lot to most of this stuff would be destroyed or lost work.

After accidentally falling asleep under the shade of a tree, Scarlet drowsily looked around to see someone talking to her. She had ignored the rantings of Xerc, but thankfully, she was now searching through the information this man had stored in his mind. Scarlet got a faint smile and a 'good job' whisper from that. For once, Xerc praised her, and she was happy. Now slightly more awake from this, Scarlet slowly stood up, using the tree as a support. "It is a very nice evening indeed." She replied with a smile, looking up at him with the innocent eyes that most children and dogs give to their loved ones.

Tabea frowned when she saw who had arrived and left the large van that most likely had no vampires inside of their anymore. She knew that and that was all she needed to know. She gently put down Axel, looking at him with a serious tone.

"What is it?"
"You need to go back to your little camp. Now. Somethings going on."
"Oh yeah? how can you-"
"Just. Go." Tabea growled, before rushing down the rest of the mountain to examine the van and flesh that was lying in the snow, now probably rotting slightly, although she couldn't really tell. Meanwhile, Axel frowned and started to walk at a brisk pace towards their base of sorts, making sure to be on alert, but fiddling with is long braid that definitely suited a girl rather than himself to keep himself calm.

I'm interested.
Just a question, but what would be the level of technology for when this is set? I doubt that there would be teleportation devices and hover cars about. That would give a basic idea for devices and such that might be used.
