Bio

I want to have a book written and sell millions and keep me funded for life but I hate writing. It's an annoying conundrum and all I can really do is to keep writing until I can get the hang for it.

So that's why I'm here on an RP forum.

No particular preferences in RP-ing. Can't say I've done enough to have built up preferences or dislikes just yet.

Did someone post the 'a boy falls in love with a girl...' pasta yet
With his hand extended, Maurice had expected nothing less than it being returned. Instead, the woman, after making eye contact, dove down to the ground and appeared to shove...something into her mouth. She dropped, and then picked up, her key and retreated into her room clumsily. Without a single reply.

"I...well, that's...alright?" Maurice considered himself a little strange but that was very, certainly strange. He's never been blatantly ignored to his face like that before, but perhaps that was a blessing this time.

There really wasn't a whole lot for him to do, standing outside someone else's door, so Maurice hurriedly walked back to his room as well.
After confirming the man on the floor was fine, one of the pair of twins, and subsequently another one of the girls, approached the both of them.

"Hello! My name is Minnie and you two are?"

"Hey there, I'm Abigail...for those of you who didn't already know that. My room number is eight."

It overwhelmed Maurice a little and normally he would be able to handle himself fine, but not with a hand axe hidden in his shirt. By the time he gathered his thoughts, they had already moved to interacting with one another, which was a relief. A quick retreat was in order.

"Well uh, as you all may know by now I'm Brown." Came his delayed response. "A-And I really should be getting back now but, nice to have met you all, Seven, Minnie, Abigail, and uh, Miguel. He politely but hastily began to walk away.

Spotting a person standing in front of Room 4, he cursed in his mind. Social obligation required he introduce himself. But he was quite sure that should be the last of the people he haven't met yet, aside from the lunatics from Room 10. He quickly and gentlemanly walked over to her.

"You must be Room 4's resident. I'm Brown, nice to meet you." He offered her a handshake, perhaps appearing a little too hurried.
"Ah, I'm uh, Brown, from Room Seven. Nice to meet you too." Maurice offered a handshake. This man seemed normal enough as well, how relieving. "We'll be neighbors from now on so let's get along."
Seeing the commotion occur mostly without his intervention Maurice was rather glad that his trusty weapon did not have to debut. With that said he did not quite understand what had happened and perhaps he preferred if it stayed that way.

He decided to crouch down and addressed the poor man battered terribly by today's events, lying face down on the concrete hall. "You alright there? Shall I actually call for an ambulance?"
While blissfully packing his things, a loud insufferable scream sounded throughout the apartment, such that Maurice dropped a heavy book on the floor. He couldn't tell from his room what the source of that scream was but it could not be anything good. He hurriedly hid the book inside a closet and reached to grab a small handaxe he had unpacked and hidden just minutes earlier.

He swung the handaxe a few times, enjoying the light sound it made as it whiffed through the air.

"Whatever that may have been, this should do the trick." The axe was something he found in a bargain bin sale a few years earlier. It was too light, too small to properly cut into wood, but for Maurice it looked perfect for self-defense. He stared at it, enchanted, for a few moments before he hid it behind his pants before hurriedly leaving the room.

Outside he saw a small crowd had gathered, seemingly as confused as he was. He rushed over to them, careful to make sure his 'weapon' was completely hidden. "Any of you know what that was?!"
Excuse the lack of recent posting. I had hoped to be able to make a post instead of having to say something about it so I kept silent but today I'll do something.
My only goal is to let Maurice have an easy life.

Someone please don't let that happen.
After some light conversation with the woman who he now knows as Ayano, Maurice concluded it was enough socializing. "Well, I'll be heading to unpack my luggage now, so I'll excuse myself here. See you around, Miss Ayano. If there's anything I can help with, don't hesitate to ring Room 7's bell."

He politely waved before heading into the apartment. On second thought he may have walked too hastily there but it didn't matter now. What mattered was unpacking.

Room 7. Maurice arrived in front of the door and without much fanfare he stepped inside. It was a rather average room by all means but it was enough.

He carefully locked the door behind him.

He glanced around, even though there was certainly no one inside.

"Well, it's about time." He wiped his forehead of sweat and unzipped his bag. It'd take him a while to take everything out and hide them...
Receiving his key, Maurice was satisfied. "I'll be sure to ask you for help when the need arises."

He certainly would've preferred to go straight to his room to unpack and hide what must be hidden. However, social etiquette demanded he at least interact with some of his fellow new residents, and there was no better opportunity to do so than now. He took a quick glance at everyone to observe. There were a number of women seemingly in their mid twenties, one of them looking even older, and a pair of fraternal twins(He could tell for one was a boy and one was not), and another pair who weren't twins, both pairs seemed to be in their early twenties. Finally there was a man in a jacket who seemed to be the same age.

As he was pondering who to approach, the twins and the other pair both took their leave. Which meant the others would soon follow. He must be quick.

Without much thought he approached the stylishly dressed older woman in her thirties, as he hoped the age gap made her easier to talk to and she seemed the most normal. The most human, perhaps. "It seems we're both new here. I'm Maurice Brown. I'm a regular salaryman, and as neighbors I hope we will be able to get along."
