I've always loved how I can lob a boomer-axe over a mountain.

Two cavaliers are taking a break amidst the battle, confident that the enemy forces will need to go around the mountains and to the south, giving them a five minute break.

Mook 1: Well, this would be a nice day if we weren't fighting...
Mook 2: Tell me about it, Why just this morn- HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT!
An axe comes spinning through the air around the mountain, severs mook 1's head, and flies back to where it came.
Mook 2: T.T

I see that lord promotion gives a weapon type, and then either another weapon or a mount. Would a fair compromise be just a kind of magic instead of either?

Edit: I mean, I have a sort of plan for how he gets the magic, and he doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who would use any other weapon or ride on a horse...

I wish to have axes and dark magic. I have a bajillion options to get swords and whatever else I want, but not that combo.

Edit: I can get axes and light magic, but that would mean being a flier... I hate fliers...

Well, I'd say that a character that's interested in putting those FILTHY MANBEASTS into their proper place (the grave) is in order.

Edit: what's the rules/restrictions on class? Where do fighters hail from, mostly?
