There's this fucking guy I know that won't just leave me the fuck alone about this, I keep telling him over and over how I don't care about goddamn melee, and how I prefer brawl. It's this sense of rampant elitism that kills games for me, when it stops being about having a good time and it becomes solely for competition. Doing all that to it, it just takes its soul...

I looked that up and oh joy, it's a bunch of Melee fans butthurt about brawl being a different game. I hate those douchebags! they're the same kind of guys that disable items and only play on final destination because it's a 'better game.' Go to hell! Stop telling me my choice in character is invalidated because he isn't goddamn Marth! stop bitching about wave dashing being taken out, and for the love of god just go play fucking street fighter! Smash Bros. is not a tournament fighter!

As Grey listened, Lucilia had happened upon an unfortunate choice of words. Though in all honesty there would be more trouble down the line if it wasn't dealt with now. "Vampires?! You let vampires in here?" Grey said, a bit of panic mixed with just a tiny amount of hate. "Do you have any idea how much chaos one of those, those things can cause? With all due respect, it's only a matter of time before even the most good-hearted of them get hungry." He wasn't really worried about himself, he could easily deal with most vampires, or at least disfigure 'em before they won. No, he felt that the people here were in danger, guards or not. Even if they subdue the creature, how can they react in time? It's not like they're given a notice or the vampire is considerate enough to kill in the open. "I... I've seen it. Recently. One vampire's presence alone caused a whole village to tear itself apart. And in the middle of it? she laughed..." Very few things could fill him with such righteous anger as vampires. it seemed as if destiny itself had always conspired to throw the damn things at him.

Grey listened to Lucilia's reasoning, and was a bit embarrassed when he had realized how rude his previous statement was. He hadn't intended it that way, but that just seems to have been how it came out. Even so, he found he disagreed. "There's some truth to that, but I find that a visible defense force conveys a feeling of safety ma'am. most people don't trust things they can't see." he said matter-of-factly. In any event, the woman continued as she began to set a veritable mountain of paperwork on the desk. Grey listened intently, nodding every so often. Eventually, she finished, crossed her arms, and smiled. There was nothing friendly about that smile... Gods this woman was intimidating. And people thought he was scary...

Grey picked up the papers, but before he left, Lucilia asked if he had any questions, as well as warned him not to bother the inhabitants. Actually, there was one... "I do, actually. So when I was at the gate there was this parade of demons with, uh, with a couch..." He said, Some of his earlier confusion seeping into his tone. "That's not normal, is it?"
